Marcel Lucont's Whine List Joins Podomedy

Marcel Lucont's Whine List, the audio incarnation of his internationally toured interactive live show, has joined independent comedy podcast network Podomedy.

Built around the complaints, catastrophes and questionable decisions of audience members, Whine List invites listeners into Marcel’s uniquely superior version of group therapy.

Each episode draws on contributions gathered at live performances, including disastrous days at work, overseas misadventures and ill-fated romantic encounters, all examined through Marcel’s deadpan wit, Gallic disdain and instinctive audience interaction.

The podcast, winner of Best Listener Moment at the Golden Lobes 2026, joins Podomedy’s growing roster of distinctive independent comedy. The network spans panel shows, character comedy, improvised formats, scripted fiction and comedian-led conversation. Its arrival reinforces a commitment to supporting shows with a clear comic identity, particularly those created and owned by comedians themselves.

Damien St John, founder of Podomedy said: “When we started Podomedy, I wanted it to become a home for brilliant indie comedy that absolutely deserves a bigger audience. Marcel Lucont's Whine List is a perfect example. It's sharp, intelligent and built around a real audience. The podcast completely captures what makes Marcel such a compelling performer and gives those moments a life far beyond the live show without sanding off the edges.”

For listeners, it offers the immediacy of live comedy while allowing Marcel’s victims, observations and increasingly questionable advice to travel well beyond the room.

The partnership will see Podomedy support the podcast’s distribution on Acast, positioning, promotion and audience growth as part of its wider mission to give independent comedy creators the infrastructure and backing usually associated with larger media groups.

About Marcel Lucont

Marcel Lucont has appeared on Comedy Central at The Comedy Store, Sky Atlantic’s Set List and BBC Three’s Live at the Electric. His trademark mix of louche observations, poetry, audience interaction and self-appointed cultural superiority has taken him to comedy festivals and venues around the world.

Whine List began as an interactive stage format in which audience members anonymously submit their personal gripes, misdemeanours and worst experiences for Marcel’s consideration. The podcast preserves the spontaneity of those live encounters, creating a different collection of stories and responses in every episode.
