Podomedy Increases Fiction Factor with The Dial Up Podcast

Podomedy, the UK's podcast comedy network, today announced the signing of the bitesized, time-hopping, fiction podcast The Dial Up to its expanding roster of shows.

The Dial Up is an independently-produced podcast featuring an all-Scottish cast with an intriguing premise — an internet technician who can speak to people from the past and future via online voice calls. In 2024, the show won Best Fiction at the Independent Podcast Awards, and bronze in the same category at the British Podcast Awards.

"I couldn't be more thrilled to welcome The Dial Up to Podomedy," said Damien St John, Founder and CEO of Podomedy. "Philip Catherwood and the entire cast and crew has set new standards in independent podcast production with some of the most original and compelling storytelling out there. I'm excited to support and amplify the upcoming third season and to hear what happens to Lewis next!".

Lewis is just your everyday internet, support technician who can speak to people in the past and the future! What cosmic anomaly is connecting him to a fellow, lonely Scotsman in 1999, and a gifted physicist in the year 2052? And will they be able to stay talking forever?

Winner: Best Fiction at the Independent Podcast Awards 2024 | Bronze: Best Fiction - British Podcast Awards 2024.
