Podomedy joins AudioUK the industry body representing businesses across the UK podcast and audio sector.
The membership connects the independent comedy podcast studio with AudioUK's community of independent producers, networks and audio businesses, alongside access to industry training, events, working groups, commercial initiatives and specialist business and legal resources.
For the independent podcasters working with Podomedy, that means the network is becoming better connected to the wider professional audio industry around them. AudioUK membership gives Podomedy access to resources covering areas including talent and contributor agreements, rights, IP, production, commercial partnerships and legal support, as well as training and shared industry best practice.
It also gives Podomedy greater opportunity to participate in conversations around how independent podcasting develops commercially, from monetisation and commissioning to AI, branded content and the development of podcast IP.

The membership strengthens Podomedy's connection to an industry body actively working to grow investment in podcasting. AudioUK's commercial activity includes connecting producers with advertisers and brands, while its Power of Podcasting initiative has introduced more than 80 advertisers and brands to the medium and its Branded Podcasts working group is focused specifically on increasing brand engagement with podcasting.
