Podomedy, the UK independent comedy podcast network and studio, has announced an agreement to work with Basil Brush Ltd on a number of new digital-first projects, including original social content and development of a visualised podcast format.
The collaboration will see Podomedy support Basil Brush’s move into new audio and video-led spaces, bringing the much-loved British entertainment icon to audiences across social platforms, podcast apps and video channels.
The initial slate of activity will include short-form social content, character-led digital moments and a visualised podcast concept designed to combine Basil’s classic comic energy with the pace, intimacy and shareability of modern podcasting.
Podomedy, which specialises in comedy podcasts, creator-led formats and personality-driven audio, will work with Basil Brush and his team to develop content that feels faithful to the character’s heritage while opening up new ways for audiences to enjoy Basil online.

The agreement forms part of Podomedy’s wider work in developing comedy-led audio and video formats for established talent, independent creators and family entertainment brands.
