Independent Comedy Festival takes over Leicester from 3rd to 21st February 2027 with four Podomedy shows and performers bringing laughter to the stage.
Rachel Creeger co-host Jew Talkin' To Me? kicks things off on 4 February at LCB Depot with Queen of the Jews!, her acclaimed stand-up show exploring identity, antisemitism and the difference between paranoia and genuine prejudice. Rachel also performs A Little More Conversation at The Globe on 10 and 11 February, inviting surprise guests to tackle difficult subjects through comedy and open conversation. Book tickets

On 13 February, Marcel Lucont brings his internationally acclaimed Whine List to Just the Tonic @ The Cross. The gloriously arrogant Frenchman invites audiences to air their grievances before subjecting them to his sardonic observations and trademark Gallic superiority. The performance will also be recorded for the Marcel Lucont's Whine List podcast. Book tickets

Later that evening, Wrestling With the Champ returns with another bout of FistyMania! following its Liberty Award win at the 2026 Leicester Comedy Festival. Hosted by Damien St John and featuring Ant McGinley's Ginger Ninja, the interactive wrestling comedy gameshow pits contestants against the self-proclaimed champion in a series of increasingly ridiculous challenges. Book tickets

Finally, Alex Love, co-host of The Following Through Podcast, returns on 21 February with How To Win A Pub Quiz 2027. Part stand-up, part competitive trivia, the cult Edinburgh Fringe favourite divides the audience into teams for an hour of points, prizes and spectacularly questionable general knowledge. Book tickets

The festival marks another opportunity for Podomedy's independent creators to bring their distinctive comedy formats to live audiences, demonstrating how podcast talent can build entertainment well beyond the headphones. Book tickets
