Dave Vickers, comedy promoter and the beating heart of Banana Cabaret - one of the UK's longest running comedy clubs - stopped the night at the end of May. Dave explains how since 1983 'The Banana' was at the vanguard of the alternative comedy movement, and continued through the golden age of live standup.
