[00:00:48] Hi everyone, Philip here, writer and producer of The Dial-Up Fiction Podcast.
[00:00:56] Introducing this bonus episode, Guide-Greel from the Recording of Season 2.
[00:01:00] For some context, we recorded all five episodes of Season 2 in one day.
[00:01:05] Most of this guide-greels from the last few episodes, just because episodes in one and
[00:01:08] two were at the start of the day, they were immaculate, there was virtually no mistakes.
[00:01:13] It's whenever you get to the last episodes, it got later into the day, the actors have
[00:01:17] been cooped up together for so long, they start to get all eccentric.
[00:01:21] You'll hear what I mean.
[00:01:24] I just wanted to explain one thing that the actor says during the guide-greel, because
[00:01:28] I think it's really funny, and it just needs a little bit of more context.
[00:01:32] In one of the original drafts, I had a line, one of the characters said, that was give
[00:01:36] me a bucket.
[00:01:37] If you don't know what that means, don't worry, you're not alone.
[00:01:40] During one of the early re-threes we had, all the actors pulled me up on it, and they thought
[00:01:44] it was like, autocorrected or something.
[00:01:46] It essentially means my dad says a lot.
[00:01:48] You say when something makes you sick, but in a joking way.
[00:01:52] Someone says something very romantic or salty, you're like, give me a bucket because I'm
[00:01:57] about to be sick.
[00:01:59] Yeah, I know, it's a weird one.
[00:02:02] The actors had never heard of it before, and they really took it on board for the rest
[00:02:05] of the production and just kept saying it randomly to me completely out of context.
[00:02:10] And no, you know, I'll let the rest of the guys speak for themselves, but I thought I
[00:02:15] would just explain that one.
[00:02:16] Also this is just a chance for me to directly speak to the listeners which I've never done
[00:02:21] before at the start of an episode.
[00:02:22] So hello, thank you.
[00:02:24] As always for listening to The Dialup.
[00:02:26] I hope you enjoy this bonus episode.
[00:02:28] There's more on the way including those early re-threes that I mentioned before.
[00:02:34] And we will see you very soon for season three.
[00:02:37] Enjoy this guy, Grail.
[00:02:38] And thanks for listening.
[00:02:39] Get in into it's cold acting.
[00:02:49] Because I've got to be panicky, dude.
[00:02:53] Oh yeah, I don't know.
[00:02:55] Okay, it can go off.
[00:02:59] You know, I've done a bunch of things.
[00:03:01] I did all that traveling that you said I should go and do.
[00:03:03] Excellent!
[00:03:04] Yes!
[00:03:05] Where would we?
[00:03:06] Get out.
[00:03:08] I'd love that.
[00:03:11] It's a date.
[00:03:12] Well, not a date.
[00:03:13] I mean, it's a confirmed event on a date.
[00:03:16] It's date.
[00:03:17] It's dates?
[00:03:18] It's date!
[00:03:19] It's date!
[00:03:20] Is it dating?
[00:03:21] Is it dating?
[00:03:22] Is it dating?
[00:03:23] Are you losing your words?
[00:03:25] Okay, hold on.
[00:03:27] We'll go from I'd love to.
[00:03:29] Okay.
[00:03:30] Let's go.
[00:03:31] It's just you're this super serious science nerd.
[00:03:34] She's not.
[00:03:35] She's a party animal.
[00:03:36] Sounds like she should drink then.
[00:03:38] Hold on.
[00:03:40] She's not.
[00:03:41] She's a party animal.
[00:03:42] Sounds like she's...
[00:03:43] Sorry.
[00:03:44] Hold on one more time.
[00:03:47] Oh, she's not.
[00:03:48] She's a party animal.
[00:03:49] Sounds like she's a...
[00:03:50] Jesus Christ!
[00:03:51] Is this?
[00:03:52] Sounds like she could...
[00:03:53] I'm pretty sure.
[00:03:54] I'm pretty sure I'm going to change it that, Phil.
[00:03:56] Sorry.
[00:03:57] Here we go.
[00:03:58] They're adaptable for lots of tasks.
[00:03:59] I picked them in my artifash...
[00:04:01] Artifash?
[00:04:02] I'll give you mine.
[00:04:04] Oh, a new VR would be a thing in the future.
[00:04:06] How does it work?
[00:04:07] From your...
[00:04:08] I don't know.
[00:04:10] Huh?
[00:04:11] Give me another one.
[00:04:13] I don't know where you are all...
[00:04:15] Jesus Christ!
[00:04:17] This episode, man.
[00:04:18] Like, I'm sure there's dozens of them in the classical.
[00:04:21] Just sitting there that you could just go into any time
[00:04:24] and watch whatever movie you want.
[00:04:25] Well, there's only one thing for it then.
[00:04:27] If you want to go in my time,
[00:04:29] nope, that's not it.
[00:04:31] Sorry.
[00:04:33] I'll start with mine.
[00:04:35] Yeah.
[00:04:38] I'd rather go in your time.
[00:04:40] Like, I'm sure there's dozens of them in classical.
[00:04:42] Just sitting there that you could just go into any time
[00:04:45] and watch whatever movie you want.
[00:04:47] Well, there's only one thing for it then.
[00:04:49] Sorry, I'm on with no...
[00:04:51] Fuck!
[00:04:52] Sorry, I got the giggles.
[00:04:53] I'll give you an adjust to mine.
[00:04:55] I can't laugh though.
[00:04:57] Because if you want to go in my time,
[00:04:59] is that what I'm saying?
[00:05:00] Do you want to go in my time?
[00:05:02] Well, there's only one.
[00:05:03] Yeah, okay.
[00:05:04] What's she doing?
[00:05:05] Nothing. She just keeps looking over at me.
[00:05:07] Probably wondering what the nut jobs doing to Spanland is.
[00:05:11] Probably wondering what the nut jobs doing to Spanland.
[00:05:16] I'm going to go from what she's doing.
[00:05:20] What's she doing?
[00:05:22] Nothing. She just keeps looking over at me.
[00:05:24] Probably wondering what the nut jobs doing to Spanland
[00:05:26] is disposable camera.
[00:05:29] And I know I got disposable wrong.
[00:05:31] Let's see how you're doing.
[00:05:32] Yeah.
[00:05:33] Wait.
[00:05:34] No.
[00:05:35] Did you?
[00:05:36] No.
[00:05:37] Maybe.
[00:05:38] Sorry, fuck it.
[00:05:40] Can you go from the top again?
[00:05:42] There was a stutter in my mind.
[00:05:44] I want to say...
[00:05:46] What was it?
[00:05:47] Oh, carry!
[00:05:50] I thought I did really well.
[00:05:51] Actually, I heard a fucking...
[00:05:53] I'm glad you stopped it already.
[00:05:56] I actually know this...
[00:05:57] I know the stutter you're on about.
[00:05:59] I know that.
[00:06:00] I really fucks me off.
[00:06:01] You heard it?
[00:06:02] I'm like, I can't wait for that surely.
[00:06:04] Alright, alright, Coco, you ready?
[00:06:06] Just give me a clap.
[00:06:07] You ready?
[00:06:08] Go on where?
[00:06:09] I don't know there was an earthquake!
[00:06:11] An earthquake?
[00:06:12] Well, it sounded like it is building with shaking.
[00:06:14] The line got cut off.
[00:06:16] Sorry, that was a terrible reaction to earthquake.
[00:06:19] I'm not going to lie.
[00:06:22] I'm not going to lie a bear leaving her.
[00:06:24] This is hard!
[00:06:25] Go on, go on, go on.
[00:06:26] That's the start.
[00:06:27] Lewis is on Tom Holland and I'm on Tom and Zendaya's daughter.
[00:06:30] Oh, cool!
[00:06:31] He has a daughter?
[00:06:33] Spider-woman?
[00:06:34] Yeah, you don't guys...
[00:06:35] Fuck me.
[00:06:36] Yeah, you don't fuck me.
[00:06:39] Give me Spider-woman.
[00:06:41] I had to.
[00:06:42] I figured if the building collapsed, it was my only chance to get in.
[00:06:46] I didn't want you to...
[00:06:47] Well, your earthquake...
[00:06:49] Our cake.
[00:06:50] Hold on.
[00:06:51] Let me go.
[00:06:53] No!
[00:06:54] Ew, that was absolutely vile.
[00:06:57] That was so disgusting.
[00:06:58] That was so gross.
[00:06:59] It made me feel sick in the night.
[00:07:02] Oh, fuck.
[00:07:03] How did you miss it?
[00:07:04] Did someone stop and don't?
[00:07:06] That's weird.
[00:07:09] Okay guys, that's in the guy-grail.
[00:07:11] I think we did it.
[00:07:14] That's weird.
[00:07:15] Oh!
[00:07:16] Okay guys, that's in the guy-grail.
[00:07:18] I think we did it.
[00:07:20] I mean, do we do it again?
[00:07:23] Give me a bucket.
[00:07:25] Give me a bucket.
[00:07:26] Bucket, bucket.
[00:07:28] Okay, so you act up from what's his email address and everything?
[00:07:32] Okay.
[00:07:37] Stop it.
[00:07:38] Knowing as Barthie wouldn't help.
[00:07:40] Did he mention anything?
[00:07:42] Well, if it was near Christmas,
[00:07:44] he started bloody bread and freight...
[00:07:48] Like that!
[00:07:51] Knowing as Barthie wouldn't help.
[00:07:53] You're the smartest person I've ever met.
[00:07:56] You're really...
[00:07:57] You're...
[00:07:59] Awesome.
[00:08:04] Everything okay?
[00:08:05] Someone leaned on the button there.
[00:08:09] Fuck it out of her in the moment.
[00:08:11] I was in such a place there.
[00:08:13] I thought you ever did that?
[00:08:14] Right, we're going back, sorry.
[00:08:16] Yeah, I'm gonna go that still wasn't me doing it.
[00:08:20] Now what cost though?
[00:08:22] About to cause the biggest earthquake Glasgow's ever seen?
[00:08:26] My mom would be so disappointed in me.
[00:08:28] Sorry guys, do you want to go back?
[00:08:30] Sorry too.
[00:08:31] I'd love to.
[00:08:32] Honestly.
[00:08:35] No, we don't actually.
[00:08:36] Why?
[00:08:37] I know I said that thing twice, alright.
[00:08:39] Oh okay.
[00:08:45] The answer is no, we talked to her earlier because I was in a...
[00:08:48] I love the way you said that line as well.
[00:08:50] You probably fucked this film but no, I was just kidding.
[00:08:53] Yeah, okay.
[00:08:54] Come on, what's the worst thing to happen?
[00:08:55] Do you want me to do that?
[00:08:56] Yes please.
[00:08:58] Hey, hey!
[00:08:59] Are you still there?
[00:09:00] Yes! I'm just hard from Lewis!
[00:09:01] Really? Was he okay?
[00:09:02] He went back into the building.
[00:09:04] He said there were still trimmers.
[00:09:05] Did you use the MP?
[00:09:06] Yeah, I snapped a picture and the warm home was gone.
[00:09:08] The picture and the warm home things started wobbling.
[00:09:10] The nanobots are not happy.
[00:09:11] Yeah, I can see that.
[00:09:12] I've just turned on my MP but it's...
[00:09:14] Oh, it's not strong enough.
[00:09:16] I can't shut them down.
[00:09:18] It's not gonna work?
[00:09:27] It's been retaking.
[00:09:29] It's been retaking.
[00:09:30] It's been retaking.
[00:09:31] It's been retaking.
[00:09:32] It's been retaking.
[00:09:33] It's been retaking.
[00:09:35] It's been retaking.
[00:09:36] It's been retaking.
[00:09:37] Between you burping and him gargling like a sea creature.
[00:09:41] I made one tongue slap.
[00:09:43] Might be the only professional.
[00:09:44] Even then, this gription is viral.
[00:09:46] It's like the least tense moment of the year.
[00:09:48] It was time to burp.
[00:09:49] It's not gonna work!
[00:09:50] It was just a little one.
[00:09:54] It wasn't mine or my giant dinosaurs.
[00:09:57] Little baby burp. That was good.
[00:10:00] Of course we are.
[00:10:01] Maybe you can just give us some time, Dana.
[00:10:03] To sit and chat me.
[00:10:04] Oh shit, I'm running out of minutes here.
[00:10:06] Is there another way we can keep into...
[00:10:08] Fuck my gun.
[00:10:11] How long have we got?
[00:10:12] A minute, maybe a few.
[00:10:13] Once the nanobots charge runners out,
[00:10:15] the whole wormhole should be collapsed a little.
[00:10:18] A minute, a few maybe.
[00:10:20] Once the nanobots charge runs out,
[00:10:21] a wormhole should...
[00:10:23] That's a rubbish words!
[00:10:27] A minute, a few maybe.
[00:10:29] There he is.
[00:10:30] Lewis.buelis at tecdarr.com.
[00:10:32] That was crap.
[00:10:34] His full name is Lewis.
[00:10:36] I'm not done.
[00:10:39] Pay attention!
[00:10:40] Listen!
[00:10:43] Guess there's nothing left to do but use our own AMP's.
[00:10:46] Hopefully, you lose it.
[00:10:48] Use?
[00:10:50] Guess so...
[00:10:56] That's his middle name.
[00:10:57] Lewis.
[00:10:59] Lewis, you're split.
[00:11:01] No, come on now.
[00:11:03] I can't wait a second.
[00:11:08] Sad off.
[00:11:09] Oh no, we've lost it, am I?
[00:11:12] See, I'll see you in the next video.
[00:11:14] Fucking great.
[00:11:15] Pump it full, let's go.
[00:11:17] I don't know.
[00:11:18] And how can you both like busted my dad was into the bear soul name?
[00:11:22] You're soul name!
[00:11:23] What the hell?
[00:11:24] Great, well well, watch it.
[00:11:26] Oh dude, sorry about that, but...
[00:11:29] Well, I won't go back.
[00:11:30] Yeah, let's go back.
[00:11:32] Okay, we're ready guys, I'll copy you.
[00:11:34] Okay!
[00:11:35] Do it, do it, try to pull it out.
[00:11:37] Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
[00:11:38] Yeah, let's do it.
[00:11:39] I fucking hit you off, let's do it.
[00:11:41] Don't be negative.
[00:11:42] You said this morning.
[00:11:43] Don't be negative.
[00:11:44] I'm sure you're correct.
[00:11:45] So be positive.
[00:11:46] Thank you very much.
[00:11:47] Say something nice.
[00:11:48] You're both really attractive.
[00:11:49] Just clap your hands, man.
[00:11:50] Let's go.
[00:11:51] What do I smell of?
[00:11:53] Okay, like a just a clean man.
[00:11:55] Mmm.
[00:11:57] Okay guys, ready?
[00:11:58] Yeah.
[00:11:59] That's a fucking good one.
[00:12:01] Okay!
[00:12:07] Hello?
[00:12:08] Hello?
[00:12:09] Is anyone there?
[00:12:11] Dana?
