[00:00:41] Alright then guys, welcome back into The Spooky Shed, your go-to place for conversations around all things weird, scary and of course spooky. Tonight with me I've got Laura from Midnight in the Mountains. So Laura, welcome into The Shed. How are we? I'm good, how are you? Good, good, good. I'm alright. Like I said, I'm actually feeling a bit cold in The Shed tonight, which is weird because the last few weeks I've just been sweltering and just sat here dripping in sweat. So it's a nice change of pace. That's good, that's good.

[00:01:11] Well, I'm not going to turn this heat around because it makes far too much noise and it doesn't, well, it doesn't really work. But yeah. Anyway, right. So I prepped you earlier though. I always get all my guests to leave something in The Shed with me so it can be anything you want. A person, a place, a feeling, a thing, whatever the hell you want. The weirder the better. What have you got for me? So I chose coffee, which is kind of a boring answer. But I love coffee.

[00:01:36] And a lot of the times when you go out and you go paranormal investigating, whether it's ghost hunting or you're hiking around in the woods looking for weird stuff at night, you need to be awake. So definitely. And I always like, I always have a coffee with me when I go out. So that's what I'm going to bring. Fair enough. Fair enough. Well, it won't get drunk in here because I cannot stand coffee. What?

[00:01:59] I'm very much of the opinion and I always have this argument with my wife that if coffee, if there was only decaf coffee in the world, nobody would drink it. I would. No, see, I genuinely don't believe anybody likes the taste of it. No, I do. It's vile. It's vile. That's why I drink so much of it. It's horrible. How do you, well, do you, energy drinks or what? Oh no. Oh yeah. Yeah.

[00:02:28] See, I won't touch those. That's what keeps me going. I won't touch those. I mean. The only way I could drink coffee is if they put about, I don't know, like eight spoonfuls of sugar in it or something and then. Oh, that's disgusting. I don't put sugar in my coffee. What? It's too bitter. I don't like bitter stuff. It's disgusting. Oh, and maybe you need to drink better coffee, try better coffee then or something. I don't know. God knows. I'm not going to because I've tried a few and they're all horrible. Okay. Well, that's fair.

[00:02:58] Some people don't like it. And plus, to be honest, I don't really need, sorry, I don't really need caffeine cause I'm full blown ADHD. So I've just got energy through the saline. So I'm fine. Well, what is that? Cause I'm pretty convinced that I have ADHD. I'm not diagnosed, self-diagnosed, I guess, but I, I'm always tired. So I don't know. Hmm. Could be. I don't know.

[00:03:26] Obviously it's, well, it's, it's a bit like, like autism is cause I'm, I'm, I've got both. So I'm proper special. Obviously it's like, like a spectrum. So I mean, cause I know, I know people who've got it and they can sleep for 12, 13 hours. Cause me, I can easily get by on four hours sleep. Oh wow. I'm jealous. Yeah. I mean, don't get me wrong. There's days I'm tired, but yeah. Yeah. I think I, this has gone off on a tangent already.

[00:03:56] I know. I'm sorry. It's fine. It's fine. Oh God. Right. Uh, let's see, let's get back on some sort of track then. So do you want to tell my listeners about yourself and about your podcast just before we get into all the good stuff? Sure. Yeah. So, um, I mean, a couple of years ago I started a podcast. I don't put as many episodes out as I would like to.

[00:04:24] I'm trying to get to some kind of balance that I can do that eventually. But I started a podcast because I've always loved spooky, scary things. Um, I grew up watching like unsolved mysteries with my mom. I have the typical millennial answer that I think everybody does. That's into the paranormal. You know, I read goosebumps. I read fear street, um, watch Scooby doo as a kid, just like all of that stuff.

[00:04:53] And I've always loved a good, good, uh, mystery, a good ghost story. And then several years ago I heard about podcasts and I was like, oh, let me check this out. And then I discovered all these paranormal podcasts and I would just listen to them like nonstop. And I still do. And then just one day I was like, I want to do this. So I did. And that's, that's where we're at.

[00:05:19] And I also, you know, I think like, like one time I was just watching YouTube. And, um, one of my favorite YouTube channels is exploring with Josh and he was always going out paranormal investigating. And I'm like, man, I wish I could do that. And I'm like, wait, I can do it. I just have to make it happen. So I was, so I just, I did it.

[00:05:44] And, and I, and I, so I started going out and, uh, I go to some places like I'm lucky enough to have enough friends that I can, uh, book the places like privately overnight and go to, go to some really haunted locations. And I'll go out and, you know, go hiking at night in the woods, looking for big foot or dog man or just weird stuff. So yeah. So that's just the kind of stuff I do. And, uh, yeah, I love it. Nice. Nice.

[00:06:14] I like it. Uh, yeah, I want, I've watched exploring with Josh a few times on YouTube. And I'm pretty sure when I first started watching him, he wasn't doing much like paranormal investigating. He was literally just going around abandoned buildings and stuff. Yeah. And I'm pretty sure it's when he started doing the paranormal stuff, like his channel just like literally went through the ceiling. Yeah. And now he really doesn't do that anymore because of, and I know there's, I think there's like the paranormal files also, which I would watch him.

[00:06:42] But a lot of these guys that I watched, they stopped doing paranormal stuff because the field has gotten so toxic, which is definitely true. And I don't blame them. So, but yeah. Fair enough. Fair enough. See, I've never, I've never experienced that.

[00:07:00] That's why I was, I was surprised when you, when you said that before we started, because like, to me, I mean, I mean, I've, I mean, I've spoke to some people who've told me some very odd things and gave me some very odd answers to certain questions and stuff. But like, I've never had any negativity or anything like that. Or like that. Everyone I know has been like, nice, been sound, but yeah. Oh, that's good. That's really good. Cause I'm sure it'll come at some point. Yeah.

[00:07:30] Well, I don't know. Just, just keep doing what you're doing. So you don't experience any of it. I don't know. Yeah. Oh, Christ. Right. Then. So, as we mentioned that, obviously, obviously you, you wanted to start paranormal investigating. So then you, you literally just went and did it. Yeah. So talk to me about the first time you went investigating. Oh, gosh.

[00:07:55] So there's been times where I've gone, I don't know if you'd technically call it investigating. I guess it was. I mean, there's been times I basically started out with some friends that have already been doing this for, for several years. And I'd go out into the woods with them and I've experienced some really, really crazy stuff to the point where it's like some of these stories that I hear.

[00:08:20] I don't know if I would have believed all of them if I hadn't experienced my own stuff. So I can talk about some of those. Those are like the outdoor things that I've done. And the very first time I technically went investigating was Fort Mifflin, which is in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, which is like an old haunted fort. And I was asked to go and we rented out the whole place to ourselves. Didn't have a whole lot happen there.

[00:08:50] I just there's a lot of like stone buildings there and there's they kept prisoners there. And I'm not going to sit here and say, like, oh, I'm special. I'm sensitive. But sometimes I can pick up on feelings, especially I've noticed a lot of the times it's like residual energy that I can pick up.

[00:09:11] And it's usually when I'm in some kind of like weird stone, like a stone building or something, because I remember they call them casemates and there were different casemates where they kept different types of prisoners. And I had gone in to one of them and I started getting really dizzy and I was really nauseous. And that's the only one it happened. And then there was, you know, others. And then.

[00:09:40] So when I was done, like at the end of the night, I asked the tour guide, I said, you know what happened in that first one? Is there a lot of residual energy there? And he said, yeah, he said that's where they kept the prisoners that had like dysentery, which is, you know, if it's like a stomach, stomach virus thing, you know, you're you're getting sick and throwing up and stuff. And that explained why I was feeling that. So I've had that.

[00:10:09] I've had some other like in Gettysburg, there's this place called the Dobbin House, which is now a restaurant. And you can also rent rooms there to stay overnight. And but it also used to be a field hospital back in the day during the war. And I had a very bad herniated disc in my neck the one time that I went there and I went downstairs into the basement and they sat us against.

[00:10:37] And our table was against our table was against the stone wall. And in the corner of the Dobbin House, there's this like natural spring water that flows through there. So I was literally sitting there with my my. Back against the wall and the spring water is like running through the building. So they say that water running also creates more energy and stuff. And I'm telling you, like I had taken ibuprofen before I walked into the building and I was in some pain.

[00:11:06] But when I sat down and I was sitting there, I was in like I was in so much pain. It was it was just crazy to the point where like I had to get up and switch seats with my sister. So I wasn't sitting against the wall. And my my friends were looking at me like, are you OK? You're extremely white. And I'm like, no, I'm in a ton of pain. And so I've I've experienced things like that as far as I think just mostly residual. I can pick up on for whatever reason. I don't I don't know.

[00:11:37] I mean, I mean, that's commitment. I was just trying to have I was just trying to have lunch. I wasn't even investigating then. But fair enough. Fair enough. Fair enough. Fair enough. Yeah, because I've been. So I've been to like a location like to say several times and I've had.

[00:12:04] Like my best example was the first investigation I ever went on was an old air museum. And I was quite a bit happened, like a lot of weird stuff, stuff that stuff that you couldn't explain. Not nothing major. Like, you know, there wasn't chairs being thrown around the room and doors and windows flying off the hinges and stuff like that. And sadly, yeah, I was gonna say, wouldn't you love to see that? Yeah, I know. Yeah. But then the second time I went there, like basically nothing happened.

[00:12:31] Like I was recording for my YouTube channel and I didn't even end up putting a video out for it because there was literally nothing. But I could tell that after being there for 10 minutes, I was just like, I can feel like nothing's going to happen. Like there's just something about the atmosphere. Yeah. And I think most people can probably pick up on that, I think. Mm-hmm. Oh, yeah, there's.

[00:12:55] So I think, I think a lot of people, like I said, most people can feel that when they go into a place that, you know, nothing, if it's definitely going to happen or nothing's going to happen. Because I don't know, like, like I've not done a lot of investigations because I've only started recently, but even the places I've been, I can always tell when something's going to happen. Whether that means I'm sensitive or special to anything, I don't know. Whether that is just something everybody can feel.

[00:13:21] But I mean, like, you know, I can't, I can't, like, you know, speak to spirits or really see anything or anything like that. So I do sort of think most people can feel it and I don't know whether people just want to try and like kid themselves and hope that the atmosphere changes or something. Maybe, I don't know. I think you can, I mean, I think you can definitely feel it. I know what you're saying. Like, I've already been using dowsing rods and stuff and stuff's going off.

[00:13:49] And then all of a sudden it's like something changed and it shifts and it's like, okay, it's gone. It's done for now. It's just, I don't know. But yeah, I definitely think every, like, I think everybody has the ability to do stuff or sense things like that. But I think there's other people that are, that can sense it more. Yeah, definitely. And I think obviously, obviously, you know, Tommy as well from Let's Get Freaky.

[00:14:16] We'll give Tommy another, that'd be about his millionth shout out on the podcast. Yeah, I love Tommy. Tommy. But I love his little catchphrase that he has that he says he's still on someone else, but I've never heard any, what he said. Obviously, when he, when he says that, when you look into the paranormal, it looks back. Because the more I do this, the more investigations I do, the more weird stuff that seems to happen and, well, just, and that I notice.

[00:14:46] Yeah. I agree with that. I definitely think that everything. I do think that's a thing too. It's, yeah. And sometimes it's not always a good thing. Luckily, luckily for me, it kind of has been, but yeah, I do know what you mean. Like, like, like personally wise, I've, I've had investigations where things have felt a bit iffy and suspect, but I've had a lot of, since doing this recently, I've had a lot of stuff happening in my house, but it's all been like good stuff.

[00:15:16] Oh, why do you think that is? Well, because, well, I've been told by like, I think like four different mediums who I'm pretty sure I don't actually know each other. They might do, but I don't know, but I highly, I highly doubt they're all just going to conspire just to tell me the same thing. They are. You never know. You never know. Well, I says I've had four, I've had four different people basically tell me that my granddad comes to see my son. Oh my gosh. Oh, that's so nice.

[00:15:46] That's good. I thought you were going to tell me something scary. I'm, I'm relieved. No, no, no, no. That's what, that's what I mean. It's all been like good stuff. It's all been, been nothing horrific again. Like there's no like water coming out the plug sockets and stuff like that. And a million flies and all that sort of stuff. Yeah. I've, I've had some, um, I don't know if you want me to go into it or not, but I had something like not so great happened to me last fall. But yes. Yeah.

[00:16:14] So, oh my gosh, this is, this is, this, I honestly, I think something was trying to attach itself to me and it, it really had me unsettled for a while. So, so in November, I have some friends that live in Tennessee. So in November, I went down to see them. We went to Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary. We rented that out for the night. And there was some stuff that happened there that I could get into then.

[00:16:44] But we also went to this place called Elkmont, which is in the Smoky Mountain National Park. And it's this abandoned town, but the, the park keeps up with it. Like it's all, uh, freshly painted and, uh, it's in, it's in decent shape. So I think there's like, maybe like, maybe like 13 cabins left, 15 cabins left out of a whole bunch that used to be there. It was an old logging town back in the day.

[00:17:15] And if you go there, you can see that there's a bunch of just stone chimneys that are left. And some of the stone staircases that are left from the cabins that are no longer there. But anyhow, so it's supposedly haunted. And I don't really understand why it's haunted because I had done my own research on it. And I didn't see anything tragic happen there. I didn't, you know, find out anything.

[00:17:43] And, but I came to find out my friend Brooks, who, who goes there quite often. He had talked to a park ranger and the park ranger said that people had gotten sick and there was like a sickness kind of that went through, uh, Elkmont. And it used to be called Daisy Town back in the day, but there was a sickness that went through. And I guess, I don't know, I guess it killed a bunch of people. I'm not sure. That's what he was told by a park ranger.

[00:18:12] I actually forgot to even try to look into that because I didn't see that before. But, so my friend Jason and his friend Phil had gone to Elkmont before also. And they had gone with, with this guy Brooks that I'm friends with. But they had all gone down maybe like a year, a year or so before, before I went.

[00:18:41] And I don't, there's something really wrong with that place. And there's this cabin, infamous cabin 13, I say when I tell the story. And they had gone in the cabin. And I think like, I don't remember if they, anything happened the first time, but the second time they went back. And it just, I think Brooks ended up getting scratched while he was there.

[00:19:11] And they had gotten, they had, um, a spirit box. They had gotten weird stuff like through that saying like, they had asked a question and the response was, that's devil worship. I forget what the question was. And it just, just some like really bad feelings. I remember my friend Jason said like, he, he felt like he couldn't breathe in there. Like something was like on his chest.

[00:19:37] And when they had gotten home, I remember like after the fact, I remember Jason was saying like, he felt like just everything that could go wrong started going wrong. Like, um, his wife had like gotten laid off from her job. He had lost his job. Um, Phil just kind of like, he felt like he, he had gotten an attachment and he got so freaked out to the point where he,

[00:20:06] he had a YouTube channel where he would go out and go investigating. And he deleted his YouTube channel. Like that's how badly it affected him. And then. Jesus. Yeah. So they've all spoken about this before too. Like I'm not, you know, sharing secrets or anything, but they've all spoken about it before on like podcasts. And it was just like really bad. And, and I know from talking to Jason, he was very hesitant on wanting to go back.

[00:20:34] Cause I, he, you know, he told me how haunted this place was. And then I had watched YouTube videos on it and it was crazy because in the YouTube videos, I'm watching, I'm like, people are experiencing bangs and noises on the roofs and stuff. And I do remember that they said they had experienced it and I really wanted to go. And Jason said, okay, I guess I'll go. And so we went and my friend Aaron came.

[00:21:04] And so we planned to go to Elkmont and we were waiting for Brooks to get there. And my friend Aaron and I went into cabin 13 and Jason was like, I'll wait out here for you guys. I'm not going in there. And me being stupid and being curious, I was like, okay, well, and I mean, I believed, I believe Jason, you know, and I believed that they all had these bad experiences, but I wanted to see for myself, like if I could feel any of the energy or whatever.

[00:21:35] So I went in there and my friend Aaron came in and I said, do you, do you want to investigate in here real quick? I'll pull my dowsing rods out. And he goes, sure. So I said, okay, what room do you want to go in? And he like did a quick walkthrough and he comes back and he said, how about the kitchen? The kitchen feels kind of off.

[00:22:01] And mind you, Aaron didn't know, like he knew what happened there, but he didn't know where it happened. And the kitchen is where things started getting really weird and it's where Brooks got scratched. And I didn't tell Aaron that, but he just kind of picked up on it. And this was Aaron's first time actually doing an investigation other than Brushy Mountain, because Brushy Mountain was his first, his first time we, we went to Brushy first and then to Elkmont second.

[00:22:31] And Aaron is like a open-minded, open-minded skeptic. I like to call him. So we go into the kitchen and I start using my dowsing rods. I'm asking questions and I had just started using them. Like, you know, I haven't really been using them a whole lot. And I was asking questions like, do you want us here? And it said no.

[00:22:59] And, oh gosh. And then I was asking like, how many are there of you in here? And I, you know, I said like, is there five of you? It said no. I said, is it like, is it less than five of you? And it said yes. You know, across for yes, open for no. Yeah. And I eventually, it said that there was two of them in there. And, and I, I said, are you like, are you mad that we're here or something? And it said yes.

[00:23:28] And I said, gosh, I said, are you what makes people sick in here? Because I started to get really nauseous while I was in there. And I've noticed for whatever reason, I think that when something is, is not good, I won't, I won't say necessarily evil or whatever, just something that's not good. I've noticed that I get nauseous for, I don't know.

[00:23:57] And I started getting really nauseous and I said, are you what makes people sick? And it said yes. And then I asked if it was human and it said no. Yeah. And I just started feeling like, oh my gosh, this is really not good. This is really not good. And I kept asking questions and my friend Aaron is like, come on, you need to not poke the bear. Let's, let's go.

[00:24:26] Let's get out of here. And had it not been for him saying that I would have kept going because I was like, oh, we're getting answers against my better judgment. I knew that we should have left. I knew that we shouldn't have even done it in the first place in there. But I'm. Poking the bear is one thing. Eating it around the head with a stick is another. Yeah. Yeah. That's pretty much, pretty much what I was doing. And I'm always, I'm always like super respectful.

[00:24:54] I'm never the type to, you know, instigate anything or, or what, what's the word I'm looking for? When, when, when people like, like I command you to do this and do that. Yeah. I never, ever, ever do that. I'm always say, please, thank you. Cause you, you don't know what you're dealing with. Yeah. Yeah. So, so we got out of there and, you know, I'm walking out the door, I'm grabbing my stuff. Aaron's right behind me.

[00:25:23] And I'm just like, in the name of Jesus Christ, you cannot follow us, all this stuff, you know. So we get out and we go over to Jason. And by this time, Brooks had just gotten there. And I'm like, this, that cabin is, is messed up. Like, that's just, it's not good. So the night goes on and we investigate in another cabin. And we had, when we were in there, we could hear something running on the roof.

[00:25:53] I think we debunked it as like a squirrel. But then at one point we had heard banging on the side of, of the cabin. And then it all had also sounded like somebody was like walking through, through the woods. Cause, cause the way the cabins are, they're kind of, they're surrounded by trees and there's, there's leaves on the ground. And Aaron was standing by the one wall and he was like, made everybody, you know, like be quiet. He's like, I think I just heard something.

[00:26:22] And it sounded like somebody was out there. So Brooks grabs his flashlight and runs outside and just does this like perimeter check with the flashlight. And there's literally nothing there. And I mean, this place is known, known for that kind of activity happening. And we just, I mean, we had some other like sensor lights, you know, go off a bunch. But that was, that was pretty much it for that.

[00:26:48] But, oh, and I did some other dowsing rod sessions and I was getting some answers with that. But, so to kind of flash forward that night, we got back to, Aaron and I had gotten back to our Airbnb. And I think it was around like 3 a.m. or something. And we were, we were frozen and tired. So we just went to sleep. And the next day we got up and everything was fine. I think we met up with Jason.

[00:27:17] We went hiking for a little bit. We got some food. And then Aaron and I had, had dinner. And we came back to the Airbnb. We played cards for a while and, and went to bed. And Aaron was staying in the loft, like above me. And I was staying on like the, the first floor. And I had, I had shut my door. I went to bed. And the, the bathroom was right next to my door.

[00:27:46] And I'm going to sleep. And I remember I kept waking up and I was having these like bad nightmares. And I woke up the one time and I still don't know if I was actually awake or if I was just having this nightmare. I felt like somebody was breaking into the Airbnb. And I was so, like, so scared to the point where, like, I thought somebody was hiding in the closet in my room.

[00:28:16] I was just so creeped out. And I just had this, like, restful sleep the rest of the night. And I had heard someone walking outside of my door. And the next morning, Aaron and I woke up. And I said to Aaron, I said, did you get up and go to the bathroom in the middle of the night? And he said, no. So I only went, I only got up at, like, I think he said it was, like, 6 or 7 a.m. He got up to use the bathroom. And it was still dark out.

[00:28:46] And I know that I hadn't been asleep that long when I had heard the footsteps. So now, like I said, I don't know if, if, if there was actually footsteps or if, because I thought that I was awake when this happened. But I'm kind of just trying to chalk it up to, oh, maybe I actually was just having this nightmare. Maybe it was just me sleeping. I don't really know. But flash forward to, I go home.

[00:29:12] I went home that day and got home, went to bed. And I had nightmares again. And I woke up the next morning and I texted Jason. And I said, because I had told him what happened the night before. And I told him, I said, I had nightmares again last night. And that proceeded. It was three nights in a row that I had these bad nightmares. And I can't remember.

[00:29:41] I remember the first night. It was the home invasion type deal. And then the next two nights, I don't remember what it was, but I remember being scared. And I used to have nightmares all the time when I was a kid. I mean, like every night it was really bad. Like I never wanted to go to sleep by myself. And that's just not really typical anymore. I don't really have nightmares anymore.

[00:30:08] So I can't, I can't, that's not something that was normal. Like I know, I knew something was wrong. Like, and I just had this gut feeling that something's trying to attach itself to me. And it's trying to get to me. And this is really bad. So I just started praying. And I said, Jason, like, you know, just pray for me, please. Like get this, you know, keep this away. And so I, and he, he just prayed a whole bunch for me.

[00:30:37] And I just kept praying every day for a while for, you know, I'd get up and I'd go to bed and I'd pray. And eventually it went away. But after that, I mean, I, I don't know. It was really crazy. A couple weeks later, I just had this extreme depression hit me.

[00:31:01] And I mean, like I've, I've felt being depressed before, but this was really bad. And I can't sit here and say that it's connected to this, but I wonder if it, if it was. And I mean, it lasted, it lasted like a good month or two. And I mean, it finally went away, but I don't know.

[00:31:29] And I just, after, after knowing what Jason and Phil went through after they went to Elkmont and our friend Brooks, he has dreams about Elkmont all the time, but his stuff isn't negative. His stuff is like Elkmont calls to him. He's always like, I want to, I want to go back there. I feel, yeah, it's really weird. He's like, I wouldn't be friends with him anymore.

[00:32:01] He, he's, we actually did an episode on Tommy's podcast. I don't know how long ago, because Tommy is crazy and puts out like five podcasts a week. But, um. Jane. What? Yeah. He's in the chain. He has kids and a full-time job and a podcast. And I can't even, I don't have kids and I have a job, but I can't even handle one podcast a week.

[00:32:25] So, but, um, so I don't know how many episodes back that's buried, but the three of us did a podcast and we really went into it, which is like, you could go, you know, whoever is listening, if you want to hear, hear more about it. But, but yeah. So, so he has these like crazy, these crazy dreams about Elkmont just drawing them in. And we're, and I'm like, Brooks, I'm like, you need to be careful with that. He's like, no, I'm fine. I'm like, no, Brooks.

[00:32:54] I'm like, this isn't, this isn't a good thing. You need to, you need to stay away from that. But to flash forward to a couple months ago, I'm trying to plan another trip to Tennessee with my friends that we all hung out last time. And I was in contact with the woman, um, her mom owns the Bell Witch property, but she takes the phone call.

[00:33:23] So I was on the phone with her and I was telling her that we want to try to, you know, investigate the Bell Witch Cave. And we also want to try to go to, there is a house in Kentucky just above the Tennessee border called the Octagon House. And that's supposed to be really haunted too. And I was telling her about that and she said, oh yeah, the people that handle the paranormal, the paranormal tours for the Bell Witch Cave.

[00:33:54] Or, cause she doesn't necessarily book the paranormal tours. Um, the other people kind of do it and investigate with the visitors. And she said, oh yeah, they're, they're friends with the woman who does the tours for the Octagon House. So I called the Octagon House because I want to get information about, you know, how much it is and all the rules and what have you. So I call her and, and her and I are on the phone for a while.

[00:34:21] And I was telling her about our trip to Brushy Mountain. And then I was telling her and I said, I don't know, have you ever heard of Elkmont? Because when I mentioned it to people, nobody knows what it is. Nobody's heard of it. And she said, actually, yeah, I have. And I said, oh. And she said, yeah, I had a friend that went there and I had to cleanse him. And I said, what?

[00:34:45] So I tell her everything that happened to me and that happened to Phil and Jason and talk about everything like that. And she said, yeah, she said that she had to cleanse her friend and that he was having nightmares too. And he was experiencing just like not feeling right and not having good feelings. So that really, I mean, that just drove the nail into the coffin for me.

[00:35:15] And I just, I don't know, it was, it was really wild. And she said, I said, what do you, what do you think it was or what do you think is there? And she said, I think that somebody brought something in to Elkmont. Like somebody brought some kind of entity in.

[00:35:37] And I was, and, and, I mean, to me that makes sense because Brooks, from what he says, he goes, because he goes there a lot. And he thinks it's, it's some guy, like a spirit of, of an old cranky man. And I'm just like that to me, that just doesn't fit. Like it just doesn't track. I, I just think it has to be something more than that from, from what we've all experienced. And I think that really makes sense.

[00:36:06] And then, um, I just, so I was talking to Brooks maybe a week or so ago, two weeks ago. And he said that him and his wife had gone back to Elkmont. And he saw someone there that was doing, just, just being weird. Like some woman that was being weird. And he actually had taken a picture of her and he sent me the picture.

[00:36:34] He said that she was just staring at this one wall in one of the cabins for like a half an hour. That's weird. It's so weird. Yeah. It's so weird. I said, that is so creepy. So, and I was just like, why would somebody do that? And he said, because it, whatever, they're trying to feed whatever entity, because it's a very highly trafficked area.

[00:37:00] And you're, the crazy thing is about the national, Smoky Mountain National Park is you could be in there after dark, which I feel like other parks want you out. Maybe I'm wrong, but I was just astonished that we could be in there at nighttime. Cause I would think that they would want to kick you out, that you couldn't be there after dusk, but you could. So you can go there any, whenever you want.

[00:37:28] And I don't know, who knows what people are, people are doing some weird stuff there, I guess. Yeah. Def, def, definitely. There's definitely somewhat weird going on, whatever it is. Yeah. Def, def. That was, that was, that was odd because I was, the whole time you were telling that, I was, I was thinking to myself, there's a lot of similarities here to something that happened to me at the beginning of the year.

[00:37:53] But the, the, the, the first thing, the first, I mean, I can tell you about that if you want people listening to this, I'll probably be sick of me talking about it, but I'll tell you if you want. But the first thing I want to go to there is, so you said that it was, it was like an entity, like you would think that it was an entity that was like taken there and put there. See, I've never heard of anything like that before. How would that work? Have you just got any idea? So. You know, put it in a jar or something. I'd like, you know.

[00:38:22] I don't, you know, I don't know. I, the only thing I can think of, and this is just me creating this in my head. I have no idea if this is correct, but I'm just thinking, you know, maybe, maybe somebody, because he said he felt like it was, it was a witch that was there that was doing this.

[00:38:44] So I don't know if, if, if this person had some kind of deal with some kind of entity and conjured it or something and said, okay, like, I'll, I'll take you here. I'll conjure you here and you could feed off, you can feed off these visitors off these people. And then in turn, maybe this entity or whatever it is, is somehow giving this person power or I, I don't know.

[00:39:13] But that's just kind of what I would, could imagine. I mean, I suppose, I suppose it could be some sort of type of like haunted object or something, something that's, I don't know, like say, I'd not say someone, but like evil dead vibes. Someone might have had something that they wanted rid of and I don't know, they've just, they've taken it there and just like left it there on the slide sort of thing. Do you know what I mean? Never, yes.

[00:39:41] Could be a, could be a ball or something, anything like, you know. I never even thought of that. That's a really good, that could be it. That could be it too. That's a really good thought. Yeah. But just. That's, that, that, that, as sounds, it sounds weird saying this when we're talking about the paranormal stuff, but that, that seems like the most logical answer. No, I never thought of that. Very, very strange. Yeah. I don't know.

[00:40:08] Well, well, the girl going there and just staring at the wall for about a half an hour or however long she was there. That's really weird. Yeah. Well, then again, like I say, it's, it's one of them because, because I was, I was, I was thinking as well. It's like, it's, it's funny with like the paranormal and stuff because like you say, you've been told like these horrible things that have happened, but there's still part of you. And it's like, I want to go.

[00:40:36] Like if it was, oh, there's a murderer who lives in there. You'd be like, I'm not fucking going then. No. Well, when it's ghost and stuff. And like you said, people are getting scratched and stuff and like actual physical harm is being done. And we still want to go like what, what, what the hell's wrong with us? I don't, I don't know. It's the best thing I can say is curiosity killed the cat that I just, cause I don't know. I am so now ask me to go back to Elkmont.

[00:41:04] I'm, I don't think I'd go back to Elkmont. If I, but you're not, you're not definite though, are you? I was, I was like, um, I'm never going back there, but now it's really bad because there's places, there's other places where I said, I'll never go back to. And then time passes. And then I'm like, okay, I would go back, but I definitely would not go back into cabin 13. That I would not do. I don't think I would go back to Elkmont.

[00:41:33] I mean, I can't say that a hundred percent, but yeah, I, I, I don't know what it is. So, so, I mean, I guess I'm assuming you're the same, you're the same way. It's just like, you need to go, you need to see these things. Oh yeah, definitely. But that's what I mean. I think, I think anybody who does paranormal investigating, I think, I think, I think we're all like that really.

[00:41:56] Like it's, it's just because, because like I said, like me and you could go, me and you could go there. And like I said, obviously from what you've told me there and obviously all the people you've been with highly unlikely this, but there is a, there is a chance. Cause it does happen where we could go there and you could have all this horrible stuff happen again. And I could just be stood there like, no happening what we're doing. Like it's, it is strange.

[00:42:25] And like I said, that's, like I said, when, when, when things do attach to other things and people and stuff, that's, that, that's when things do get, that's what, that's when the scary stuff does happen. Yeah. When stuff like that happens. I, I, I mean, like I'll go, I'll go to places and I don't really want to say I'm scared.

[00:42:49] I mean, there's times where, where I go places and I get unnerved and I guess I am a little scared, but I still force myself to walk further into the dark room or the dark building or around the corner. Even though I just have this feeling that there's something there and I could feel it and I just don't feel good, but I just push myself because I say, you know, this, this is what you came here for. This is what you're looking for.

[00:43:19] And there's something in my brain that switches off and the fear goes away and it just becomes like this exciting adrenaline to me. And I want to experience things. And then, then when you get these experiences, it's the more you experience, the more you want it. And it's just like, I always say, it's just like a drug where it's like, you know, once you get a little bit, you just, you just keep wanting more.

[00:43:44] But, but when it gets scary like that with, you know, I, I don't want that because there's just this sense of, it's just this deep sense of knowing that this is not good. Yeah. And you need to get rid of it right now. And I think a lot of it is, is mind over matter and you could do whatever you want to do, you know, cleanse yourself. And I, I always, I always pray.

[00:44:14] And for me that works. And I don't know. It's, I mean, a lot of this stuff is, it's fun, isn't it? And it's exciting. And you'll go to places a lot and you just sit there in a dark room and you're talking to, to nothing or nothing is responding to you. And it's a lot of waiting around and, you know. Yeah. But sometimes stuff does happen. Yeah, exactly. You just have to be careful. Yeah, definitely.

[00:44:44] Definitely completely agree with you on that one. I mean, I can tell you my little weird thing if you want, because I've never, I've not really, I mean, I've told a story, but like the, the aftermath of it, I've not really gone into. So if you want me to tell you. It's up to you. I'd love to hear it if you want to share it. It's up to you. I mean, like I said, I mean, I, I, I always, I always half tell a story at least once every episode anyway, because it sort of comes up in conversation. Um, what have you heard of a place called 30 East Drive? It's over here.

[00:45:14] No. So it's, it's supposed to be the most haunted house in the country and in like the seventies and eighties family that lived there. They, there's loads of poltergeist activity and lots of, lots of bad shit was going on. And like, and then this film director, he bought the house and then he made a really, really bad film about it. Even, even though he owned the house, didn't use the house in the film, which annoyed the hell out of me. But anyway, that's not the point.

[00:45:44] Um, so we went there, so I went there at the beginning of the year with a team that I go with and like, so a couple of weird bits happened. And, and then, but then it was the first time I tried scrying for the first time. Oh my gosh. Yeah. You're brave. I think I would try that, but it's a little scary. Yeah, exactly. So I was just sat there staring at myself, which is, which is, which is, which is a lot weird.

[00:46:14] And you think a lot weirder than you would think it would be. That makes sense. Yeah. Yeah, it does make sense. Yeah. So, I mean, like that's just a weird feeling anyway, just like staring at yourself for like no reason for that long. And, um, so then what happened? And like I said, this, this could have happened. This could have been in my head. I don't know. But what I saw was my reflection. My eyes looked to the right, but I didn't. Yeah.

[00:46:42] So, I mean, I, I've, I've got a video of this. So. I hate that so much. Yeah. I hate that so much. I don't ever want to try scrying. The video is quite funny because like I just stand up. I'm like, no, fuck this. I'm gone. I'm out. You can just see me wandering off down the stairs. Fuck this. I'm going. I'm gone. That would be my reaction too. Yeah.

[00:47:10] So that, that was very, very weird. And that's still. Yeah. No, that is still definitely. That's the weirdest thing that has happened. But like I say, I, I still can't 100% say that that definitely happened. I could have just been in my head because I was just sat staring at myself. I mean, I was, I was barely blinking either. Cause I was like, I don't know. Is that, is that going to, is that going to make things weirder? Like, you know, is it going to. I don't know. I just thought, so I'll just, I'll try and not blink. So I said, it might've been in my head.

[00:47:40] I don't know. But that in my head, that's what I saw. Maybe it wanted, maybe it put that thought in your head. Possibly. I don't know. But yeah. So then like, like, like, like I said, not long ago, he said, I can, I can go without sleep. So then I can't remember what time it was we left. We might've been about 1.30 in the morning, two o'clock. So then we went back to the hotel we were staying at.

[00:48:06] And as a rule, like even I could go to bed at five o'clock in the morning, I'd still wake up at six just naturally. Oh my gosh. Yeah. But we went back to the hotel. I got in the bed and I was literally gone just flat out within seconds. I didn't wake up until quarter to 10 the next day. It's the longest I've ever slept in my life, which was weird.

[00:48:31] So I was like, that definitely like drained some fucking energy from me or something did. Yeah. That's what I was going to say. Something happened. Exactly. And then, cause, cause, cause, and cause that was before that, that was when like the stuff going on in my house. That was when it was at like the height of all that. That's when loads of weird stuff was happening everywhere. Literally wherever I went, I was seeing weird things and weird things was happening.

[00:49:00] And then it all just stopped. Like literally just from nowhere, just stopped. Like I always say this. I know when, I know when my granddad's at my house because I can feel somebody's in the house, but I don't know where they are. But do you think, do you think did it stop because your granddad came? No, cause no, cause like I say, it used to happen all the time. I could always tell, I could always tell when he was there.

[00:49:30] And then, like, then after we went, after we went to East drive and then when I come back, like nothing happened for ages. And like, I was literally, I was literally messaging my friends who were like mediums and stuff. And I'm like, right, why has stuff stopped happening? This is weird. And then, and then like, like I said, like, like similar sorts of stuff to what you were saying. Like I was having loads of issues at work and stuff. And then I, I, I had to, I had to take a break from doing this for a while. I had all sorts of trouble with my bloody.

[00:50:00] With my medication from ADHD and stuff. And then like, like you said as well, I went into like a proper downward spiral thing. And like that, that was the main reason I had to take a break from this. Cause I was just like, I just need to fucking, I need to sort myself out before I do this. Cause I think I recorded, I've been, I've got one that's, I still, I've been, I can't even look back at it because I was just, I know for a fact that I was just like, I was like dead

[00:50:26] behind the eyes when I was doing the episode and I was just, I know it's, I know it's really bad. And I felt really bad for the people that I was doing it with because I just, I couldn't even speak properly. I mean, some would argue that I can't now, but yeah. I repeat myself a lot and tripped over my own words, but like this one was 10 times worse than I just, and then, and then I don't know what it was. So then it just, things started happening again and then I started feeling better again.

[00:50:55] And yeah, it's very, very, very, very weird. It could be connected. It might, it might not be. It probably isn't. But then again, we'll mention Tommy again, like, you know, is it coincidence? Do you think that, I mean, something kind of came home with you and do you think maybe, because I almost wanted, I almost wanted to say that your grandfather was like, oh no, fuck this.

[00:51:25] I'm out of here. But then I'm also thinking too, what if it kind of pushed him away? Like, what if it was more powerful and, and, and more, I mean, like negative compared to, to your grandfather, who's a good thing. What if it kind of just like stepped on him and, and put, pushed him out the way and said, nope. I'm, I'm here now. Get back.

[00:51:50] And then it's just for somehow it, it went away and then your grandfather came back. I don't know. I know what you're saying. And I, I think, I think it's a bit of both. So it wouldn't have surprised me because the way my granddad was as a person, I'd imagine he's the same now. And like, nothing, nothing would push him out. Or if it did, he'd get back in, which evidently he has. Did you do anything?

[00:52:18] Did you cleanse or sage or anything? Or even go around and say, get out? When, no, cause like I said, it wasn't like, it wasn't, I could feel something like bad in the house or I could feel something. Oh, you know, I was like any like bad things. Well, I mean, obviously bad things were happening, but I wasn't really connecting it to that at the time because like I say, it was like six, six, six months ago sort of thing.

[00:52:48] So I never really connected it until like, well, basically until, until you told your story there. So that was a weird feeling, but I, and then when it stopped, like nothing really changed. I didn't really do anything. So like I said, I don't know whether it was just, I say, if something did like attach itself to me, come back with me. And then, like I say, knowing what my granddad was like, if there's some sort of like ghost fight going on or something, I don't know.

[00:53:19] It's so interesting. Yeah. But like I said, again, it could, like I said, it could not, it might not even be connected or anything. It might, it might literally just be a coincidence. And I've like, I know, I know if I asked Tommy that, he'll say there's no such thing as, but yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I don't really, I mean, I believe in them, but I don't really think coincidences. I believe in, I believe in like tiny coincidences. Yeah. Yeah. Cause yeah, that's exactly.

[00:53:46] But like the really big things is just, yeah, there's needs more explaining. No, I think something was going on and I, I, I don't think you should try scrying again. Well, that's what's funny. Cause I like, I have said, I don't know if I would or not. I might do one day. Yeah. See, see, exactly. There's this one place that I had the hell scared out of me.

[00:54:15] Like so bad. And I said, I'm never going back there. And then just within the last year, I said, you know what? I want to go back. So I could tell that story if you want me to tell that story. Go for it. So this was a couple of years ago. I went out into the woods with my sister and one of my friends.

[00:54:40] And this place is known for weird activity is specifically known for, for Bigfoot activity. And it was in Pennsylvania and it was in a state forest. And there's just, there's, there's people that have had experiences where they've been bluff charged and they've, they've seen a Bigfoot there.

[00:55:01] And we get out and I mean, just driving in, just driving into the forest, you know, as soon as we enter it, I'm just like, I could feel the energy change. And I just, it just didn't feel right. And we get out and as soon as we get out of the car, we smell this really bad smell.

[00:55:26] It smelled like rotten garbage and it was super hot out that day. So it smelled really bad. And there was also, this is also weird saying too, there was a pile of rotten stuffed animals that were, that were decaying, you know? And, um, it was, it was really strange and very random. Yeah.

[00:55:52] In the, in the state forest and it just, so anyway, so we were parked at this trailhead and this is where all this stuff is. And we get out and we start hiking and it's late in the afternoon and the sun's still up and we're hiking and we come across this.

[00:56:13] So, so I don't even know if this even means anything, but we come across a, um, a fire pit and you know, my sister and I are hiking next to each other and we don't, we don't think anything of it. But at some point we come to a second fire pit and it's these ring of rocks and her and I look down at it and then we look back up at each other.

[00:56:36] And we're just like, just by looking at each other, I could tell that we were both thinking the same thing that like something was really wrong with this fire pit. Something bad happened there. I don't know if somebody was trying to do some kind of ritual or something that they weren't supposed to be doing, but it was just this feeling of, boy, this is really weird. And her and I both felt it and that could just us being, making things up.

[00:57:06] So I, I have no idea. And, um, I guess like at one point I think the sun had started to go down a little bit and my sister and our other friend had seen these light orbs in the woods. I think it was just one or two of them. I didn't see them, but they saw them off into the trees and it started getting dark and this fog started to roll in, which I guess happens at that place.

[00:57:34] And I don't know, they say, you know, creepy paranormal fog brings more paranormal activity in. And, uh, so the fog starts rolling in and it's starting to get dark and we're hiking down the mountain back to our vehicles. And we experienced these weird smells and it, it, it wasn't a, like a rotten garbage smell.

[00:58:00] It, it's, it smelled like sour beer and it would just come and go. We would walk into these pockets and I mean, that could have been, I don't know. It could have been something in the forest that I wasn't aware of something that's naturally occurring. I don't know. It was just strange.

[00:58:16] We thought it was odd and I had remembered also that I, I meant to say when, when, um, we first started hiking in, I had, I heard, I heard a roar like up into the woods. And the other two people, my sister and our friend did not hear it, but I heard it. And I, I was thinking to myself, well, that's weird. There's no lions in Pennsylvania. And I just kind of was like, okay, did I actually hear that?

[00:58:45] And I just, you know, pushed it out of my mind. So by the time we get back down to the vehicles, the sun is, I mean, it's basically gone. It's pretty much set. And, and, oh my gosh, this still, this still freaks me out just telling the story because I'm just picturing it and kind of like reliving it. We're, we're walking around.

[00:59:09] Um, we had to go around this gate because they have, you know, like big metal gates that you can't take your vehicle up onto the trailhead. And all of a sudden this, it sounds like a freaking like bear or elephant running through the woods. We essentially got bluff charged and it's just this loud thing that sounds like it's, it's storming at us, like coming to attack us.

[00:59:38] And it, oh my gosh, it was so loud. I thought for sure something was going to come and kill us. I was so terrified. I'm screaming at my sister and I'm like, get in on my side. Cause I, I always drive everywhere we go. And, and she was going to the passenger door, which was where this noise was coming from. And I'm, and I'm saying, get over here, get in on my side. And she's just being stubborn. So I'm trying to unlock the door as quick as I can. I'm like, get in, get in. I'm freaking out.

[01:00:08] And I put the keys in and back up and just get the hell out of there. And the whole time we're driving out. And at this, this point it's dark and I could hear bangs on the roof of the vehicle. And I, I didn't know if there was sticks coming down, but I could hear stuff hitting the side of the car, which could have easily been, I was driving over sticks and it, it hit up or, but I don't know.

[01:00:37] It was like Bigfoot throwing, throwing stuff at the car to get us. I don't, I don't know. But it was one of the wildest experiences that I had. And it, it absolutely terrified me. I, I just, it was so scary. I thought something was going to kill us. I was like, this is it. We're done. It's over.

[01:01:00] And it was after the fact that I had realized, it took me a long time to realize this, that there was no bad smell when we left. The bad smell was gone. And if there was something dead and rotten there, it still would have smelled. Yeah. So I can't explain it. I don't know.

[01:01:26] We got bluff charged by a Bigfoot and I've heard several stories of that where, where it sounds like an elephant's coming through the woods at you, but yet there's nothing there. Yeah. That, that, that is, that's bizarre. I don't, I don't like that. No, it, oh, it's still, it's still scary to think about and to tell, but, and I told myself, I'm never going back there.

[01:01:54] And yeah, just recently I'm thinking, yeah, I do want to go back, which is probably really stupid. Oh God. Yeah. No, I don't, I don't, I don't like that one. That one's that, that's, that's horrible. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know how, I don't think my brain could comprehend that. That the way you can hear something, but you can't see it.

[01:02:22] Now I, I, I, I think I'd just have to lay on the floor and just see what happens. That's the worst thing to do. I don't think, I don't think I'd be able to do anything else. I just like, I'm done. I'm done. Forget it. Oh yeah. Yeah. And I mean, it was dark out too, so you couldn't see anything. But by the time, by the time you heard the loud noise getting closer and closer to you, we should have seen something, but there was nothing there to see. Yeah.

[01:02:52] That's, that's definitely bizarre. And it's all, it's all, it's also bizarre that like we've got very, I mean, my, my, mine's just a story about a woods, but a woodland area, which is, it's kind of similar. It's not to do with that, but it's just, it's somewhat very strange. The woodland area in here, mine. I won't, I won't tell you, I won't tell you the full story because my listeners will want to kill me because I just tell the same things all the time.

[01:03:20] But basically the woodland area in here, mine during the day, it's lovely. On a night, I don't know what it is, but there's something in there and it's weird. What do you think it is? Not a clue, but I know when, so technically in them woods was where I'd, was where I'd done my first ever investigation with my old co-host Billy. And the one thing I will tell you that was weird.

[01:03:47] So like I say, me and him, we played in them woods when we were kids and stuff. So we know it like the back of our hand and well, you know, in theory we should. So in theory we should be able to walk around there. No problem. Even in the dark with torches as well. Obviously we're not lunatics, but so we, and we followed a path and we went the way that in our heads, we knew we should go, but we ended up back where we started.

[01:04:17] But to end up, to end up back there, we'd have had to go along, back along the main road and we didn't. So we're like, we, as mental as it sounds, it's literally like something, I don't, I don't, I don't, I think, well, I don't, I don't even know because to me, it just, there is literally no logical explanation for how we ended up back where we started. Basically it was an old house where we started.

[01:04:47] And then the only, the only, the only way we could have ended up back there is if we ended up on the side, the opposite side to where we originally started. But we ended up back on the side where we originally started, which literally, well, physically can't happen because there's a wall there. That's so weird. Yeah, I know. Still does, still bothers me.

[01:05:13] Part of me wants to say that you should go back in there and, and see what happens. But the other part of me, see that, I love a good time slip story or something like that, but that kind of stuff really freaks me out because what if, what if you get lost in there or. Well, this, this, this is the thing and this is why it, well, it's still bothers us both

[01:05:41] so much because it's a very small woodland. It's about eight acres at best. So like I say, it's, you can't get lost in there. It's literally impossible to get lost in there because literally all you've got to do is walk for 10 minutes in either direction and you're out. That's so strange. Yeah, exactly. It makes no sense. But what I've always said I want to do is, and if Billy ever decides he wants to return,

[01:06:08] is my idea is I want to go in during the day, walk what we planned originally and where we were going to go originally during the day. And then when it's dark, go back and do it again and see what happens. Mm-hmm. Yeah, I think you should. Yeah. No, you, you, you, you won't know this, but trying to get older Billy, you've got more chance of getting old while speaking to the dead than you have speaking to him. Oh, geez. Yeah. Oh, that's not good.

[01:06:38] No, he's a dickhead. Okay. No, it's fine. It's fine. I used to have an intro where I just got all other guests to just call him a dickhead, a twat, a cunt and everything. Just for an episode he wasn't on. If he wasn't on it, that's how people knew he wasn't on it. It was funny at the time, but yeah. Oh my, are you, so you're not friends with him anymore or you are? No, no, we're still friends. But that's just, we just give each of a shit.

[01:07:09] Okay. We, we became friends because he used to work with me and I used to stand and throw potatoes out and all day. So that tells you what type of people we are. Wow. Don't ask. No, it makes no sense. Oh my gosh. So I've got three questions to end on for you. So which one shall I start with?

[01:07:35] Now that's a good one because we've sort of, well, we've sort of touched on them all. But basically what I want to ask you is, do you think haunted location can be over investigated? Oh. Oh, over investigated. Yeah.

[01:07:56] I'll say, I say no only because I think, see, this is, this is my thing. I sometimes wonder when places are really popular that you go to, you know, it's kind of, I have a few, a few thoughts on it.

[01:08:19] And so, you know, the theory of a tulpa where it's a thought form and people have all these ideas about it or you, you repeat stories about it and tell things. So, you know, I'll just use like Gettysburg as an example or something. You know, it's, it's a haunted area. Something tragic. The war was tragic. It happened there. But there's all these ghost stories told about it.

[01:08:48] So, how much of the haunting is actually there and how much of it is created by us constantly telling stories about it and adding, adding energy to it. So, I think that maybe that can happen with places. I also wonder, this is a good question.

[01:09:11] I also wonder if some people, gosh, I don't know, people bringing their own energy in or creating things or even like, like Elkmont. What if people are bringing, bringing entities in or something like that? So, I think, I mean, like, I think yes, it can be over-investigated.

[01:09:40] But I say no because I think it just keeps adding, adding more to the story, to the place. Whether that be good or bad though. Because I always wonder when I go places, you know, how much is, how much is an original haunting here and how much is added to it? From people coming here and being here and talking about it and things like that.

[01:10:10] So, I hope that kind of makes sense. I'm definitely rambling because I know what I'm thinking, but it's kind of hard to put into words. No, I understand what you mean. And especially like, again, like I said, like 30 East Drive, that place is a really good example. Obviously, the family that lived there when all this poltergeist stuff happened, like now they are there, if that makes sense. You know what I mean?

[01:10:40] Like their spirits are now there as well. Oh, really? Yeah. So, you know what I mean? Like it just gets added to, but then also, I don't know, because like I said, I don't even know what I think on that one. That's why that's going to be one of my go-to questions now for people. Yeah. And I guess, I mean, that's fair. You could, people could say, I don't know. That's a good answer too. Yeah. Right. So, question number two.

[01:11:10] Why has my brain just gone completely blank? I hate when that happens so much. What the fuck? It was literally just in my head. Where the fuck's it gone? Yeah. See, this is why winging it doesn't always work. You should write your questions down. I was literally just thinking that I'm going to have to, I'm going to have to write these three questions down.

[01:11:40] Yeah. This is going to be a thing from now on. This is what I'm going to end on. Is this an ADHD thing, having a bad memory? Yes and no. So, like I said, I mentioned football earlier. I can, I can tell you, well, this might be more, this is, well, to this extent is one of the, one of the reasons I got tested for autism as well as ADHD.

[01:12:06] So, like I said, football games, I can tell you like games from like 2003, who played, who scored, what minute they scored and shit like that. But ask me what I've done yesterday, I've got a clue. Yeah. I mean, my memory is so bad, but I've also had a bunch of concussions, but I'm also pretty sure I'm heavy. I have ADHD. So, I think it's a combination of all of it. That's why I asked you because my memory is bad.

[01:12:39] There we go. There we go. Yeah. I've remembered one of them. Okay. Right. Right then. So, question number two. So, if you could have the paranormal, ghosts, spirits, all that stuff, if you could have that be scientifically proven and as common knowledge as, say, gravity, it's just, you know, it's just there. It's a thing. Everybody knows about it. It just happens. Would you want it to be?

[01:13:09] No. Good answer. Absolutely not. Because that's the fun of it, right? It's the mystery, the questions, what keeps you going. If we knew what it was, then, I don't know, I wouldn't have any hobbies. Yeah. Exactly. No, I would, but.

[01:13:29] I always say with that one as well, I always say no to that because if it was, like you say, scientifically proven, everybody knows about it, it was clear as day, we wouldn't just have the conversation because it would have been pointless. Yeah. Yeah, that's. Maybe we'd have known you to. I don't even like, that's like, that's like a sad thought to think about. I don't, I mean, I want to know, I want to know what this stuff is. I think that's kind of what we're all doing. We're all looking for answers. Yeah.

[01:13:55] And I know that when I started this, I thought to myself, okay, I'm going to read all these books. I'm going to listen to podcasts. I'm going to go out and investigate and I'm going to figure out what things are and kind of get a grasp on these things. And the typical answer, which is so true that everybody says that's been doing this for a while, is that I have more questions than answers now. Yeah.

[01:14:21] And I think that's a lot of the drive of it too, for me. It's, it's the mystery. I've always loved a good mystery ever since I was a little kid. I don't want to actually, you know, find out the full blown truth about any of this stuff because it's just so fascinating to wonder what it is. Yeah. Yeah. That's a good answer. It's a very good answer. Right. Third and final question.

[01:14:47] It's not the one I was going to ask you because I've forgotten that one, but I can't be bothered with the editing. So I'm just going to ask you another question, even though it's a slightly depressing one. Oh no. Given what I said at the start, but I like asking people it because to me, there is a right answer to this question. So would you rather know when you're going to die or how are you going to die? And there is a, like I said, there is a right answer. Think about it. There's a right answer to it.

[01:15:19] How is there a right answer to this? I don't want to know any of that. That's terrible. I already have anxiety. I don't need more anxiety. Do you want me to tell you what the right answer is? Yeah. Yeah. It's when. If you have to pick one of them, it's when. I know that's kind of the one I was leaning towards. Yeah.

[01:15:42] But if it's going to be something that's, if it's, let me knock on wood, if it's going to be something soon, I don't want to know that though either. Yeah. But if it's like. But if you pick how and say that how is a car crash, that could happen tomorrow. That could happen when you're 90. Oh, good God. Yeah. And I'd never get in the damn car again. Exactly. That's what I mean. So that's why. When is the right answer? Yeah.

[01:16:11] You need to, you need to think of another question. That's terrible. It's so anxiety inducing. I've asked a few people that. I think it's a good question. Oh, no. It makes me nervous. Well, when I remember, which, because I probably will at some point, the actual question I was going to ask you, I will message you. Okay. Oh, goodness. Oh, God. Right. Laura, I've really enjoyed this. It's definitely been an experience and I'm definitely going to have a couple of bits of editing to do.

[01:16:42] Sorry. That's fine. I think it's on both of us, but yeah. Right. So before we finish, I just want to let my listeners know where they can find you, the podcast and all like good stuff.
