[00:24:37] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what it says there, I'll read that again.
[00:24:41] [SPEAKER_00]: So a plank of wood, rope and a baseball cap
[00:24:43] [SPEAKER_00]: fitted with a loop of wire to help them walk in a straight line.
[00:24:48] [SPEAKER_00]: OK, I don't know.
[00:24:51] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how that is going to hold.
[00:24:53] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know how they got to that point where they're like, do you know what?
[00:24:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, the only thing I can think is the only thing I can think
[00:24:59] [SPEAKER_00]: is we're both wearing hats now.
[00:25:00] [SPEAKER_00]: So obviously the tag at the back, maybe stick a bit of wire through that
[00:25:03] [SPEAKER_00]: one stand still and you've one walk down.
[00:25:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe.
[00:25:07] [SPEAKER_00]: But also there's no guarantee that you're going to be in a straight line.
[00:25:10] [SPEAKER_00]: You'd need some sort of like spirit level or something, surely.
[00:25:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah.
[00:25:15] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you can use a straight line, but then you need to be
[00:25:18] [SPEAKER_00]: like level against them, surely.
[00:25:20] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, yeah.
[00:25:21] [SPEAKER_00]: And I also don't see why you would need the hat to do it.
[00:25:23] [SPEAKER_00]: You could just hold it in your hand.
[00:25:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:25:27] [SPEAKER_00]: But I mean, I suppose it was the 70s, wasn't it?
[00:25:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[00:25:31] [SPEAKER_02]: They couldn't Google stuff.
[00:25:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, what can we use?
[00:25:39] [SPEAKER_00]: So it says here that they were inspired.
[00:25:42] [SPEAKER_00]: They were inspired by Australian crop circle accounts from 1966.
[00:25:46] [SPEAKER_00]: Bauer and Charlie claimed to be responsible for all the circles
[00:25:50] [SPEAKER_00]: made prior to 1987 and for more than 200 crop circles in 1978 to 1991,
[00:25:57] [SPEAKER_00]: with 1000 other circles not being made by them.
[00:26:01] [SPEAKER_00]: So like you say, you've got at least they're claiming a lot there, 200.
[00:26:05] [SPEAKER_00]: And to me, if they're claiming 200, you'd be claiming all of them.
[00:26:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[00:26:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, like you say, for there to be a thousand that are essentially unexplained,
[00:26:15] [SPEAKER_00]: that's a lot.
[00:26:16] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, 100 percent, man.
[00:26:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[00:26:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Too many who are liking.
[00:26:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Do you think it's a case where the powers that be?
[00:26:24] [SPEAKER_02]: This is just a wild speculation, but the powers that be
[00:26:28] [SPEAKER_02]: don't want us to don't want us to think that these are real.
[00:26:30] [SPEAKER_02]: And then sort of put these plants in to say that they've made it
[00:26:34] [SPEAKER_02]: and this is how they done it.
[00:26:36] [SPEAKER_02]: They used a cap, you know, and as possible.
[00:26:41] [SPEAKER_00]: What's the views of these two blokes as like actors?
[00:26:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they're like, yeah.
[00:26:46] [SPEAKER_00]: Possible.
[00:26:46] [SPEAKER_00]: But then I think if that was the case,
[00:26:48] [SPEAKER_00]: and if I could say I was part of the powers that be, as we call them,
[00:26:52] [SPEAKER_00]: I'd be saying, like, you claim the thousand and will say the 200 are unknown.
[00:26:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, because to me that leaves a lot less, you know,
[00:27:01] [SPEAKER_00]: thinking, you know what I mean?
[00:27:03] [SPEAKER_00]: There's a lot less to talk about there.
[00:27:05] [SPEAKER_00]: If there's only 200 that are unexplained rather than a thousand.
[00:27:09] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, the thing is, is there a video out there
[00:27:12] [SPEAKER_02]: where two dudes are on, you know, like how you watch the
[00:27:15] [SPEAKER_02]: the videos of the two guys building a hut in the middle of the forest
[00:27:18] [SPEAKER_02]: with a stream around it and all that when it's all fast and you're seeing it.
[00:27:22] [SPEAKER_02]: I'd like to see a video like that of two dudes
[00:27:25] [SPEAKER_02]: building a crop circle that is amazing
[00:27:28] [SPEAKER_02]: so that we can actually see.
[00:27:30] [SPEAKER_02]: I've never seen that.
[00:27:31] [SPEAKER_02]: And you would have you would have thought you would have seen that.
[00:27:34] [SPEAKER_02]: And as soon as you see that and see them build this amazing thing,
[00:27:38] [SPEAKER_02]: you're like, OK, OK, maybe maybe it's just people then.
[00:27:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Do you know what I mean?
[00:27:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Like a time lapse.
[00:27:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, see a time lapse of just proof that two people are doing it
[00:27:50] [SPEAKER_02]: and they show you the finished product from start to finish.
[00:27:53] [SPEAKER_02]: There's no arguing then that if that can be done
[00:27:56] [SPEAKER_02]: at the highest level of crop circle, then maybe you'll be like, OK.
[00:28:01] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it says there that they that they formed a circle
[00:28:04] [SPEAKER_00]: in front of obviously journalists and this obviously advocate
[00:28:07] [SPEAKER_00]: of paranormal explanations.
[00:28:09] [SPEAKER_00]: And I've never actually seen, you know, all my
[00:28:13] [SPEAKER_00]: all my years going through TikTok and YouTube and everything
[00:28:16] [SPEAKER_00]: and looking at all the weird stuff in the world.
[00:28:17] [SPEAKER_00]: I've never seen a video of a crop circle being made.
[00:28:20] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I must admit, I've never actually looked it up.
[00:28:23] [SPEAKER_00]: We probably should have done before doing it.
[00:28:27] [SPEAKER_02]: Quick Google search.
[00:28:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Let's see. Crop circle.
[00:28:35] [SPEAKER_02]: But I mean, I'm sure I've seen
[00:28:38] [SPEAKER_02]: like videos of people going in and with EMF readers and stuff,
[00:28:41] [SPEAKER_02]: and they pick up like
[00:28:44] [SPEAKER_02]: radiation and all stuff like that of of the crop circles themselves.
[00:28:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. Have you seen videos like that?
[00:28:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. Oh, literally got the clip here of these two blogs.
[00:28:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Like I must admit, they do look a lot less impressive.
[00:28:57] [SPEAKER_02]: That's what I was going to say.
[00:28:59] [SPEAKER_02]: I was just going to say that they just they're just they're circles, man.
[00:29:04] [SPEAKER_02]: And they're saying that's how they done it.
[00:29:06] [SPEAKER_02]: And that's how that's how they do these amazing patterns that like
[00:29:13] [SPEAKER_02]: that match up with with the galaxy and stuff.
[00:29:16] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, like, no, I mean, that's a very sharp clip
[00:29:20] [SPEAKER_00]: I'll save that clip and I'll put that on the Instagram page
[00:29:23] [SPEAKER_00]: when this episode comes out and people can have a look at that because like that,
[00:29:27] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, like some of the pictures you see of crop circles
[00:29:29] [SPEAKER_00]: and like you said, they're so well lined up and everything.
[00:29:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they're on there on that clip.
[00:29:34] [SPEAKER_00]: They are not. And they very easily, as you say, I mean,
[00:29:37] [SPEAKER_00]: well, it shows you them doing it on there, actually. Yeah.
[00:29:42] [SPEAKER_00]: What's the word I'm looking for?
[00:29:43] [SPEAKER_00]: The definition in some of the ones that you see is just too good.
[00:29:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, they're like pin perfect.
[00:29:50] [SPEAKER_02]: And they're wild designs that like that possibly mean something.
[00:29:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you know, crazy.
[00:29:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, man, we need to get out there and try and see if we can do some crop circles.
[00:30:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, definitely. We can do it then.
[00:30:04] [SPEAKER_00]: I won't go. We've got hats.
[00:30:06] [SPEAKER_00]: So we're so we need a bit of string.
[00:30:11] [SPEAKER_00]: So I've got some like theories behind them now, then.
[00:30:14] [SPEAKER_00]: So first one I've got here, paranormal.
[00:30:17] [SPEAKER_00]: So since becoming the focus of widespread media attention in the 1980s,
[00:30:21] [SPEAKER_00]: crop circles have been the subject of speculation by various paranormal
[00:30:27] [SPEAKER_00]: ufologists and astronomical
[00:30:30] [SPEAKER_00]: astronomical investigations ranging from proposals
[00:30:33] [SPEAKER_00]: that they were created by bizarre media.
[00:30:38] [SPEAKER_00]: I can't say the word, but you know what I tried to say earlier,
[00:30:40] [SPEAKER_00]: media is basically media phenomena to messages from extraterrestrial beings.
[00:30:47] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, when we say paranormal stuff, they're like,
[00:30:50] [SPEAKER_00]: tell me the media stuff is I don't count as paranormal.
[00:30:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Like, yes, it's supposed to meet here isn't from this world,
[00:30:56] [SPEAKER_00]: but I still wouldn't class it as paranormal.
[00:30:58] [SPEAKER_02]: It's just a natural thing. Yeah.
[00:31:00] [SPEAKER_00]: They're raw. But like message.
[00:31:03] [SPEAKER_00]: And again, I don't even know if it would be messages
[00:31:06] [SPEAKER_00]: from like aliens and stuff.
[00:31:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Like you said, like they said, a joke thing on today movie three,
[00:31:10] [SPEAKER_00]: you know, attacking us or anything like that.
[00:31:14] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't really know what I believe there would be, to be honest. Yeah.
[00:31:19] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. Is it like it's literally like they're tagging?
[00:31:23] [SPEAKER_02]: And the other aliens are driving past.
[00:31:25] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, oh, man, Jeff was here last week.
[00:31:30] [SPEAKER_02]: You know what I mean? What would be the purpose of? Yeah.
[00:31:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Have you ever said that?
[00:31:35] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I'd like that more if it was just them, like,
[00:31:38] [SPEAKER_00]: you know, leaving like a little message for you.
[00:31:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Give them that one. See if they can make something out of that.
[00:31:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, just their version of graffiti, isn't it?
[00:31:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah.
[00:31:47] [SPEAKER_00]: That would be quite cool to be fair.
[00:31:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Right. So magnetism.
[00:31:54] [SPEAKER_00]: So in 2000, Colin Andrews, who had researched crop circles for 17 years,
[00:31:59] [SPEAKER_00]: stated that while he believed 80 percent were manmade,
[00:32:02] [SPEAKER_00]: he thought that the remaining circles were less with less elaborate designs
[00:32:06] [SPEAKER_00]: could be explained by a three degree shift in the Earth's magnetic field
[00:32:11] [SPEAKER_00]: that creates a current that
[00:32:15] [SPEAKER_00]: electrocutes the crops, causing them to flatten from the circle.
[00:32:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Which I mean, which again, I mean, I'm not a scientist,
[00:32:22] [SPEAKER_00]: but I mean, that seems plausible, maybe.
[00:32:26] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I don't I mean, I know obviously the whole thing about,
[00:32:29] [SPEAKER_00]: you know, if you move the moon an inch, it causes tsunamis and stuff.
[00:32:32] [SPEAKER_00]: So the earth moving three degrees
[00:32:35] [SPEAKER_00]: would cause complete enough to have a.
[00:32:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah.
[00:32:39] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I suppose it could be a theory.
[00:32:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, man.
[00:32:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Just it's just a strange one.
[00:32:47] [SPEAKER_02]: It's it's weird. I don't know.
[00:32:51] [SPEAKER_00]: But I like how they say the remaining less elaborate designs
[00:32:54] [SPEAKER_00]: are the ones caused by this.
[00:32:55] [SPEAKER_00]: So, I mean, I said looking at that clip there that we've seen,
[00:32:58] [SPEAKER_00]: they were not very elaborate.
[00:33:00] [SPEAKER_02]: No, it was literally just two dudes crushing some, you know,
[00:33:04] [SPEAKER_00]: caused by the electric
[00:33:06] [SPEAKER_00]: a less elaborate than that, then you probably wouldn't even notice them.
[00:33:16] [SPEAKER_02]: I'd love to walk through one man.
[00:33:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, they're not too.
[00:33:19] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, obviously, do you get do you get any new in your area?
[00:33:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Do you get reports of them?
[00:33:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Not really now.
[00:33:27] [SPEAKER_02]: So I need to I need to get over to Stonehenge
[00:33:29] [SPEAKER_02]: and because I know that there's some there now.
[00:33:33] [SPEAKER_00]: and we need to come down with all of Billy's little equipment
[00:33:36] [SPEAKER_00]: that he has and everything.
[00:33:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
[00:33:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes, man.
[00:33:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that'd be a good deal.
[00:33:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe worth paying a bit.
[00:33:44] Yeah.
[00:33:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, that was 50.
[00:33:46] [SPEAKER_02]: That was five of us.
[00:33:48] [SPEAKER_02]: So it's not it's not that it's a tenner each.
[00:33:51] [SPEAKER_02]: If you look at it like that, not too bad.
[00:33:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Ten, ten pound each.
[00:33:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that must have done to be honest.
[00:33:56] [SPEAKER_02]: So I think adults are probably slightly more.
[00:33:59] [SPEAKER_02]: No, normally the little little ones are free.
[00:34:02] [SPEAKER_02]: And then you pay for the. Yeah.
[00:34:08] [SPEAKER_00]: This is the last theory I've got that I'll just quickly tell you
[00:34:11] [SPEAKER_00]: before you were going to whatever you can say, because they said be creased.
[00:34:15] [SPEAKER_00]: So animal activity.
[00:34:16] [SPEAKER_00]: So in 2009, the attorney general of the island state of Tasmania
[00:34:21] [SPEAKER_00]: stated that Australian wallabies had been found creating crop circles
[00:34:25] [SPEAKER_00]: in fields of opium,
[00:34:28] [SPEAKER_00]: which are grown legally for medical use
[00:34:31] [SPEAKER_00]: after consuming some of the opiate laden poppies and running in circles.
[00:34:38] [SPEAKER_02]: That's that's more involved than the aliens, man.
[00:34:41] [SPEAKER_00]: That's that's almost better.
[00:34:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Wallabies absolutely off the face on heroin, essentially,
[00:34:50] [SPEAKER_00]: really running around in circles.
[00:34:52] [SPEAKER_00]: I got this shape in my mind, man.
[00:34:54] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm just going to make it.
[00:34:58] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm here to say that, I think.
[00:35:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:35:01] [SPEAKER_00]: I would love to say that.
[00:35:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Definitely not happening in the UK, because I don't think we have wild wallabies.
[00:35:06] [SPEAKER_02]: You never know. We do.
[00:35:09] [SPEAKER_02]: We have wild wallabies.
[00:35:11] [SPEAKER_02]: Where, brother?
[00:35:13] [SPEAKER_00]: I say we do.
[00:35:14] [SPEAKER_00]: I seen a TikTok the other day and again, probably bollocks.
[00:35:21] [SPEAKER_00]: It's just this bloke who puts
[00:35:23] [SPEAKER_00]: up finding, like, you know, really rare animals that you see in the UK.
[00:35:28] [SPEAKER_00]: And on the video that I watched, he found a bloody a cuckoo borough.
[00:35:31] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, them birds that make the really, really trippy noises.
[00:35:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes. Yeah.
[00:35:35] [SPEAKER_00]: He found one of them and then he found there was like four or five wallabies.
[00:35:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Wow.
[00:35:40] [SPEAKER_02]: We're just in the wild.
[00:35:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. That's cool, man.
[00:35:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I know that we used to have big cats over here.
[00:35:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. Well, my mother-in-law saw a black panther in Essex.
[00:35:52] [SPEAKER_02]: 20 years ago. Yeah.
[00:35:55] [SPEAKER_02]: So and she 100 percent stands by that.
[00:35:58] [SPEAKER_02]: She saw a black panther and a lot of people see him around here.
[00:36:02] [SPEAKER_00]: So isn't it some of the fact that a panther is actually a thing?
[00:36:06] [SPEAKER_00]: I think they are just leopards with the black.
[00:36:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, some people say that.
[00:36:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's like a different different species of cat that looks like a panther.
[00:36:14] [SPEAKER_02]: It's very possible as well, I guess. Yeah.
[00:36:16] [SPEAKER_02]: But they have found they have found leopard DNA.
[00:36:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[00:36:21] [SPEAKER_00]: So that's just crazy, like you say, I mean,
[00:36:24] [SPEAKER_00]: I'd just love to say that wallabies absolutely off the tits.
[00:36:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Just running around in circles.
[00:36:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Creating crop circles.
[00:36:32] [SPEAKER_02]: That would be incredible.
[00:36:35] [SPEAKER_00]: I genuinely refer that to aliens.
[00:36:39] [SPEAKER_02]: That's my favorite theory for sure.
[00:36:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Definitely. Definitely.
[00:36:45] [SPEAKER_02]: I can't believe we've got wallabies here, man.
[00:36:47] [SPEAKER_02]: I need to find these.
[00:36:49] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, well, I mean, we probably actually
[00:36:50] [SPEAKER_00]: I should probably actually confirm that, like, but I mean, I don't know whether that...
[00:36:53] [SPEAKER_02]: No, you're saying that.
[00:36:54] [SPEAKER_02]: I think I've seen something on it as well.
[00:36:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Have a quick go.
[00:36:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Whether they've been put there, I don't know, but
[00:37:02] [SPEAKER_02]: because that's that's the fear in the big cats.
[00:37:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Obviously, there was the law change in the 70s or whenever it was.
[00:37:07] [SPEAKER_02]: And everyone that had wild, exotic cats and animals just let them go in the wild.
[00:37:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. And that's that's where the fear is that.
[00:37:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so it is thought that wallabies were established in the UK
[00:37:21] [SPEAKER_00]: and around 1900 later introduction still on Scotland Islands
[00:37:26] [SPEAKER_00]: happening around the 1970s.
[00:37:28] [SPEAKER_00]: They're called redneck wallabies that we get.
[00:37:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, wow.
[00:37:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Class.
[00:37:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Mate.
[00:37:36] [SPEAKER_00]: They're just like miniature kangaroos.
[00:37:38] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[00:37:39] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm glad they're not kangaroos though, they scare me.
[00:37:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. When they like fight dogs and men.
[00:37:45] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, whoa.
[00:37:46] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, that's that's all I've got me on crop circles.
[00:37:48] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I don't know if you've got anything else you want to add.
[00:37:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Um, no, I mean, not really.
[00:37:54] [SPEAKER_02]: It's something that is very interesting, man.
[00:37:56] [SPEAKER_02]: And I think there is possibly
[00:38:00] [SPEAKER_02]: that there is probably some fake stuff out there.
[00:38:03] [SPEAKER_02]: But I do think that generally that some of these are are unexplained
[00:38:07] [SPEAKER_02]: and there's a reason behind them.
[00:38:10] [SPEAKER_02]: What that is, I don't know, but it just seems
[00:38:12] [SPEAKER_02]: especially when you see some of the more spectacular looking ones
[00:38:15] [SPEAKER_02]: like that, I can't see a person doing
[00:38:19] [SPEAKER_02]: who knows, but until I see two dudes building an incredible
[00:38:23] [SPEAKER_02]: making an incredible pattern, you know, in real time on a video.
[00:38:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I won't believe it.
[00:38:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, I think it is one of the beauty of crop circles.
[00:38:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Just to finish on is they like, you know, it's so open to interpretation.
[00:38:40] [SPEAKER_00]: How the weather come from what they mean.
[00:38:43] [SPEAKER_00]: But, you know, there's no
[00:38:46] [SPEAKER_00]: there's no end to what it could be, really.
[00:38:49] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think for someone like for us who've had experiences,
[00:38:52] [SPEAKER_02]: we've seen things in the sky that we can't explain.
[00:38:56] [SPEAKER_02]: So me and you, we know there is stuff out there.
[00:38:58] [SPEAKER_02]: There is definitely stuff out there.
[00:39:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Things out there that we we can't explain and understand.
[00:39:04] [SPEAKER_02]: So the possibility that they're making crop circles is very possible, man.
[00:39:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, 100 percent, 100 percent.
[00:39:11] [SPEAKER_00]: And the other thing we'll leave it there, then,
[00:39:13] [SPEAKER_00]: so let you get yourself off to work.
[00:39:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Also, I don't want to go to work, man.
[00:39:20] [SPEAKER_00]: So that's it for today.
[00:39:21] [SPEAKER_00]: So once again, Tommy, thank you for joining us today.
