[00:00:06] Master, I have taken care of...
[00:00:08] Shut up, shut up, shut up!
[00:00:10] Yes, welcome back to terrifying tales.
[00:00:13] You know where the chair is.
[00:00:15] Igor, get the book and then get back to work.
[00:00:21] This just in after police officers conducted thorough investigation of local bookstore and find no evidence.
[00:00:29] Idiots. Of course master, do you still want me to give...
[00:00:32] Igor, Igor, never mind him. I hope you enjoy this week's tales.
[00:00:37] Jacob and his friends encounter their biggest threat yet and Amy takes to the seas.
[00:00:45] Clash of the Ages
[00:00:48] As Ella and I dashed through the underbush, the sounds of the forest were drowned out by the clash of primal forces behind us.
[00:00:56] Funderous roars and a crash of snapping trees filled the air.
[00:01:00] A terrifying symphony that underscored our frantic escape.
[00:01:04] Yet, as we ran, a part of me couldn't help but worry about Zack and his choice to stay behind.
[00:01:10] Glancing back, the scene we had fled unraveled.
[00:01:14] Dracula, in his monstrous vampire form, was a creature of nightmares.
[00:01:20] Battling with Tony, who was equally formidable in his werewolf-ampire hybrid state.
[00:01:25] The two were locked in a deadly dance, each blow shaking the ground and sending shockwaves through the air.
[00:01:32] Tony swiped at Dracula with claws that could tear through steel,
[00:01:37] each strike powerful enough to uproot trees and carve deep gouges into the earth.
[00:01:42] Dracula, agile and brutal, countered with ferocious speed, his taloned hands aiming for Tony's throat, seeking a fatal grip.
[00:01:52] Amidst the chaos, Zack stood at the forest's edge, torn between his fear for his father and his duty to his friends.
[00:02:01] His eyes were wide with terror and determination, watching every move of the titanic battle.
[00:02:07] Suddenly, a particularly vicious exchange sent Tony reeling back.
[00:02:12] Wounded and howling in pain, Dracula seized the moment.
[00:02:16] Swooping high into the air with his wings outstretched, preparing for a deadly dive,
[00:02:22] the moonlight glinted off his dark form, casting eerie shadows over the battlefield below.
[00:02:28] Zack, seeing his father in peril, made a decision.
[00:02:32] With a determined shout, he picked up a fallen branch, its edge sharpened into a makeshift spear and ran towards the fray.
[00:02:40] Just as Dracula began to descend, Zack hurled the branch with all his might.
[00:02:45] It flew true, embedding itself in Dracula's side.
[00:02:49] The vampire let out an enraged howl, the sound chilling the blood.
[00:02:56] Dracula turned his glowing red eyes on Zack, his face contoured with fury.
[00:03:02] Before he could strike, Tony lunged forward, using his son's distraction to tackle Dracula to the ground.
[00:03:09] The two crashed through the underbrush, rolling and snapping at each other with renewed vigor.
[00:03:15] Ella tugged my hand, pulling me back to then present.
[00:03:19] I can't do it. We can't just leave them, she cried, her voice laced with panic and fear.
[00:03:26] I knew she was right. We couldn't abandon our friends, our family to such a fate.
[00:03:32] Okay, I agreed, my heart pounding with the decision.
[00:03:37] Let's find Jason and Lucia. Maybe together we can do something.
[00:03:42] Tony and Dracula were still engaged trading deadly swipes.
[00:03:46] Their roars and screams filling the surrounding woodland.
[00:03:50] We saw Jason and Lucia.
[00:03:52] Jason picked up the sharpened branch that pierced Dracula and Lucia raised her silver bullet loaded gun.
[00:03:58] Jason stabbed Dracula from behind as he was still engaged with Tony,
[00:04:02] and Lucia fired several rounds into his back simultaneously,
[00:04:06] as he was still locked in a clinch with Tony.
[00:04:09] He screeched in agony up into the sky.
[00:04:12] Tony grabbed the vampire lord by his throat, roaring into his pain stricken face with sheer anger and menace.
[00:04:20] Dracula enclosed his wings, wrapping them around Tony,
[00:04:24] bringing his giant blood wolf form within rage of his razor sharp fangs in an instant.
[00:04:30] He bit into Tony's neck with all his might.
[00:04:34] Tony howled so loud, in pain the forest surrounding us seemed to react with a cry of its own.
[00:04:41] I and everyone else picked up whatever we could find and charged the creature as he released his grasp from Tony's neck,
[00:04:48] leaving his blood wolf engulfed body falling lifelessly to the ground.
[00:04:54] Dracula screeched and quickly dismissed every one of us swiping at us one by one into the distance,
[00:05:01] while seeming to laugh with an evil tone.
[00:05:04] As I raised my head and looked at Ella beside me,
[00:05:08] I saw her standing, battered and bruised from the night's horrors.
[00:05:11] I asked her if she was alright.
[00:05:13] She replied with a faint,
[00:05:15] I would have followed you anywhere.
[00:05:17] Before we die, know that since the day I met you,
[00:05:21] I loved you.
[00:05:23] I truly deeply loved you.
[00:05:26] As I held her hand, awaiting what seemed to be an inevitable death,
[00:05:31] I defiantly helped her to her feet,
[00:05:33] looking around at my lifelong friends and good people seemingly accepting of their fate too,
[00:05:38] Zach and Morgan distraught at the sight of their father's heroic death
[00:05:41] knowing there was still the man they loved beneath the blood wolf undercoat.
[00:05:46] Jason and Lucia bewildered and out of options.
[00:05:50] I looked around and thought to myself,
[00:05:53] where was Ezekiel?
[00:05:55] As I helped everyone to their feet,
[00:05:57] there was the sound of clashing once again,
[00:06:00] behind us where Dracula was awaiting us to rise one final time,
[00:06:04] we turned back cautiously.
[00:06:06] Ezekiel was now engaged with Dracula.
[00:06:09] The ancient sword in his hands, a blur of motion as he parried and struck with supernatural speed.
[00:06:15] Dracula, though surprised by Ezekiel's skill and the weapon's apparent power,
[00:06:20] was a formidable opponent,
[00:06:22] countering with brutal attacks that would have killed a lesser being.
[00:06:26] The dance between them was lethal.
[00:06:28] Each movement precise and deadly.
[00:06:30] Ezekiel's face was set.
[00:06:33] His eyes focused intently on his ancient foe.
[00:06:36] He moved with a purpose,
[00:06:38] driven by a mission we could not truly comprehend.
[00:06:42] As Ella and I watched,
[00:06:44] hidden behind the thick trunks of the old forest,
[00:06:47] we saw an opportunity.
[00:06:49] Dracula, focused entirely on Ezekiel, had left himself open.
[00:06:53] Whisper in a quick plan to Ella,
[00:06:55] we split up.
[00:06:56] She moved to one side,
[00:06:58] drawing Dracula's attention at a critical moment,
[00:07:01] while I approached from behind.
[00:07:03] With a deep breath,
[00:07:05] I picked up a rock, heavy and jagged,
[00:07:08] Ezekiel screaming at us telling us to run and get out as
[00:07:11] Dracula managed to finally grasp Ezekiel's throat with his taloned claws.
[00:07:15] Ella distracted the vampire lord with her movement
[00:07:18] before he could exact the same fate onto Ezekiel as he did Tony.
[00:07:22] I hurled the heavy rock with all my might.
[00:07:25] It struck Dracula on the back of his head,
[00:07:28] causing him to lose his grip on Ezekiel and drop him.
[00:07:31] Dracula stumbled forward,
[00:07:33] right into Ezekiel's path.
[00:07:36] Ezekiel took advantage of the moment,
[00:07:38] thrusting the ancient sword deep into Dracula's chest
[00:07:41] with a precise strike directly into the dark lord's heart.
[00:07:45] The vampire screamed,
[00:07:47] a sound that echoed through the night like a curse.
[00:07:51] Black smoke billowed from the wound,
[00:07:54] and for a moment the entire forest seemed to hold its breath.
[00:07:58] Dracula fell to his knees,
[00:08:00] his form beginning to dissipate into a cloud of darkness.
[00:08:04] Ezekiel stood over him,
[00:08:06] his expression unreadable,
[00:08:08] the sword still raised in defence.
[00:08:11] As the mist cleared,
[00:08:13] the night suddenly quieted.
[00:08:15] We gathered around,
[00:08:17] our breaths heavy,
[00:08:19] our bodies bruised and battered from the night's ordeals.
[00:08:22] Morgan and Zach joined us,
[00:08:24] their eyes filled with tears at the sight of their father's blood wolf body
[00:08:28] morphing back into the body they knew was their father's.
[00:08:32] Ezekiel wiped the blade of his sword on the grass,
[00:08:35] then sieved it with a solemn nod.
[00:08:38] It's done, he said,
[00:08:40] his voice resonating with finality.
[00:08:43] Dracula's dark hold over this world is finally over.
[00:08:47] As dawn began to break,
[00:08:49] lighting up the edges of the dark forest,
[00:08:52] as Zach and Morgan mourned over their father's corpse,
[00:08:55] the tip of Tony's fingers seemed to twitch.
[00:08:59] As we all watched in anticipation,
[00:09:02] Tony opened his eyes.
[00:09:05] Zach and Morgan took a moment trying to understand the reality of the sight before them.
[00:09:10] As Tony sat up, locking eyes with his son and daughter
[00:09:13] whilst us and the forest stood silent in wait,
[00:09:16] Zach and Morgan lunged at Tony,
[00:09:18] hugging him tightly as the three of them cried with utter joy and immense relief.
[00:09:24] Ezekiel turned to the rest of us, smiling.
[00:09:27] He stated,
[00:09:29] Dracula's venom is part of his curse.
[00:09:32] The venom was still running through Tony's blood when Dracula was slain.
[00:09:36] By killing him,
[00:09:38] the curses he inflicted upon the living ceased to exist.
[00:09:42] Your friend's father is no longer bound to the rules set by the devil.
[00:09:47] Ezekiel thanked us for our role in the slaying of the vampire lords,
[00:09:51] stating,
[00:09:52] Tonight would not have ended as it did without you.
[00:09:55] And for that I must thank you all.
[00:09:57] His tone resonating with the sound of a millennia of heroes that came before.
[00:10:02] He walked away, disappearing beyond the line of sight.
[00:10:06] A true warrior, and everything a hero should be.
[00:10:10] Jacob and Lucia thanked us as we thanked them.
[00:10:13] They offered to take us all home, but me and Ella knew we wouldn't all fit in the car.
[00:10:18] Me and Ella decided to take a long walk together out of the woods.
[00:10:22] Zach and Morgan, happily accompanied by their father,
[00:10:26] got into the car with Jason and Lucia
[00:10:28] so that Morgan could go to the hospital to fully recover from the extent of her injuries.
[00:10:33] Me and Ella gave a hug to our friends telling them that we'll see them soon.
[00:10:37] And in that moment of clarity, we looked at each other.
[00:10:41] Survivors of a night that would forever change us.
[00:10:44] We knew that the world outside would never understand what happened here.
[00:10:48] But together, we had faced the darkness that emerged into the light.
[00:10:53] As we walked back towards the town,
[00:10:56] the first rays of sun warmed our faces.
[00:10:59] And for the first time since the night began,
[00:11:02] we allowed ourselves to hope for a peaceful future.
[00:11:06] As me and Ella headed out of the woods,
[00:11:08] Ella stopped me in my tracks.
[00:11:10] She jumped on me, wrapping herself around me.
[00:11:13] She looked into my eyes and said,
[00:11:15] I would never have survived this night without you, Jacob.
[00:11:18] Thank you for not once leaving my side.
[00:11:21] I don't know anyone that would have risked their own life and done that for me.
[00:11:25] What I said to you tonight, all of it, I meant it.
[00:11:29] I looked at her for a few seconds,
[00:11:31] overwhelmed with absolute joy,
[00:11:33] and then we kissed for like five minutes.
[00:11:37] And then, yeah, we had one final moment in the woods before we left,
[00:11:43] after realizing her legs still needed to be looked at.
[00:11:46] And that's it. That's our story.
[00:11:48] Five years on now and everyone seems to be living happily ever after.
[00:11:52] Me and Elle are still in love and have a place together now.
[00:11:56] Zach continues to build muscle and works with his dad.
[00:11:59] Morgan made a full recovery and is now a successful model.
[00:12:02] And we went to visit Jason and Lucia last week,
[00:12:05] and they're expecting a baby together.
[00:12:07] Not all stories end as happily as ours or as fulfilled as ours.
[00:12:12] But until we stumble across an unexpected evil again,
[00:12:16] to everyone reading this, all listening,
[00:12:19] this is my story, a terrifying tale,
[00:12:22] a clash of the ages.
[00:12:25] The haunting melody.
[00:12:31] I'm back. This will be my final entry.
[00:12:33] I have lost too much. My family, my friends, my Olivia.
[00:12:37] I can't bring myself to do this anymore.
[00:12:40] I am leaving these stories with a set of instructions as a guide
[00:12:43] to anyone who wants to take over and carry on the fight.
[00:12:46] In this final chapter, things are going to be a bit different.
[00:12:49] I'm heading back to the north of England.
[00:12:51] Located on the northeast coastline stands Holy Island of Lindisfarne.
[00:12:55] Holy Island is a tidal island only accessible at certain times of the day.
[00:13:00] Whispers of a haunting melody echoed through the misty air every night.
[00:13:04] Local spoke of the sirens,
[00:13:06] mysterious creatures said to lower unsuspecting souls to their doom
[00:13:10] with their enchanting songs.
[00:13:12] Deep within the mist shrouded waters surrounding Holy Island,
[00:13:15] where the ancient Lindisfarne castle looms ominously against the grey sky,
[00:13:19] lies a chilling secret known only to the brave or the foolish,
[00:13:22] the haunting presence of the sirens.
[00:13:24] For centuries sailors whispered tales of the beautiful yet deadly creatures
[00:13:28] whose ethereal voices lured ships to their doom upon jagged rocks.
[00:13:33] But it wasn't until a group of intrepid explorers dared to venture to Lindisfarne castle
[00:13:37] that the truth of the sirens was revealed.
[00:13:40] As night descended upon the island, the air grew thick with an eerie stillness,
[00:13:44] broken only by the distant cries of seabirds.
[00:13:47] The explorers, armed with lanterns and a sense of trepidation,
[00:13:51] made their way towards the castle,
[00:13:53] guided by the faint glow of moonlight reflecting off the ancient stones.
[00:13:57] But as they drew closer, the air seemed to shimmer with a strange,
[00:14:00] overworldly energy and then from the depths of the sea
[00:14:03] came the haunting melody of the siren's song.
[00:14:07] It was a sound both enchanting and terrifying,
[00:14:09] weaving its way into every fabric of their souls,
[00:14:12] beckoning them closer to the edge of reason.
[00:14:15] Some of the explorers, unable to resist the siren's call,
[00:14:18] stumbled blindly towards the cliffs,
[00:14:20] their minds consumed by an insatiable desire to find the source of the music,
[00:14:25] but others, their senses sharpened by fear,
[00:14:27] fought against the hypnotic trance,
[00:14:30] rallying their companions and fleeing towards the safety of the mainland.
[00:14:35] For those who lingered too long, their fate was sealed,
[00:14:38] their bodies discovered days later,
[00:14:40] dashed upon the unforgiving rocks below.
[00:14:43] And so Lindisfarne castle remained a forbidden place,
[00:14:46] haunted by the whispers of the sirens
[00:14:48] and the echoes of those who dared to seek them out.
[00:14:51] For in the realm of supernatural,
[00:14:53] curiosity often comes at a grave cost
[00:14:57] and some secrets are best left undisturbed.
[00:15:00] Once I read that I knew that's where all of this had to end.
[00:15:03] I've never mentioned this before but I have a really strong phobia of the sea
[00:15:06] so maybe this wasn't the best idea.
[00:15:08] Well who else is going to stop these creatures?
[00:15:10] It's only a matter of time before the sirens return to claim more victims.
[00:15:14] I took my usual approach and researched sirens
[00:15:17] and for anyone that isn't fully aware,
[00:15:19] sirens are essentially mermaids but not like you see in Disney films.
[00:15:22] There will be no love story to go with a Jamaican singing crab.
[00:15:25] The story of the sirens traces all the way back to Greek mythology.
[00:15:30] I was getting really nervous about taking on this fight
[00:15:34] as even the thought of being in the sea would make me feel uneasy
[00:15:37] so to be on an island that gets cut off by the sea
[00:15:39] was not helping me get my head straight.
[00:15:41] I left the flat where me and Olivia were living,
[00:15:44] not long after the greyskins incident.
[00:15:47] I couldn't bear to stay there any longer than I needed to.
[00:15:50] I was hoping it would be our home for a long time.
[00:15:52] What has many things in my life now, it was not meant to be.
[00:15:55] I can no longer drive a car as every time I look in the rear view mirror
[00:15:59] all I see is Olivia.
[00:16:01] Not as an infected greyskin but just as herself.
[00:16:04] That blonde hair, those piercing blue eyes and that smile she would give me.
[00:16:07] That's all I could see.
[00:16:09] I nearly crashed into the back of someone on more than one occasion because of this.
[00:16:12] And that's all I could see. It was heartbreaking.
[00:16:16] In my research I found the best way to defeat sirens is with a bronze dagger
[00:16:20] coated with a victim's blood.
[00:16:22] That should be easy enough, I thought to myself sarcastically.
[00:16:25] I took some of Liv's belongings with me
[00:16:28] and luckily but not surprisingly she had a bronze dagger.
[00:16:31] Also I want to point out I did not know any of Olivia's family
[00:16:35] or else I would have returned her belongings
[00:16:37] but she was very much like me, alone in this world.
[00:16:40] I arrived in Northumberland a few days ago
[00:16:43] and was still trying to psych myself up, the face crossing this road
[00:16:47] and to get onto the island.
[00:16:49] I had done all usual stuff, spoke to the locals about the tales of sirens
[00:16:53] and most tried to play them off as a myth
[00:16:56] or an old wives tale to scare kids from playing too close to the cliff's edge.
[00:17:00] One local law, an elder man with the very stereotypical look of an old fisherman
[00:17:06] told me one story of a group of teenagers five years ago
[00:17:09] who met their demise at the hand of the sirens.
[00:17:12] His story went as follows.
[00:17:14] One stormy evening a group of adventurous teenagers
[00:17:17] dared each other to investigate the source of the haunting melody.
[00:17:20] Armed with flashlights they ventured into the thick fog
[00:17:23] that enveloped the rocky cliffs on which Lindisfarne Castle sat.
[00:17:26] As they edged closer to the cliffs the haunting melody grew louder
[00:17:30] its hypnotic notes sending shivers down their spines.
[00:17:33] Suddenly amidst the crashing waves they spotted figures emerging from the sea
[00:17:37] beautiful yet overworldly
[00:17:39] with long flowing hair and piercing eyes that gleamed like polished obsidian.
[00:17:43] Transfixed by their mesmerising sight the teenagers felt
[00:17:49] an irresistible urge to draw closer
[00:17:51] ignoring their instinct they stumbled towards the sirens
[00:17:54] oblivious to the danger lurking beneath the surface.
[00:17:57] Just as they were within reach
[00:18:00] the sea erupted in a frenzy of frothy waves
[00:18:03] revealing rows of jagged rocks below.
[00:18:05] It was too late for the teenagers to escape
[00:18:07] as the sirens unleashed their true form.
[00:18:10] Monstrous creatures with razor sharp teeth
[00:18:13] and twisted skeletal limbs.
[00:18:15] The haunting melody transformed into a cacophony of screams
[00:18:19] as the sirens dragged their victims to the churning depths below.
[00:18:24] Their desperate cry echoes into the night
[00:18:27] a grim warning to those who dared to tread too close to the edge of darkness.
[00:18:31] From that day on Holy Island remained shrouded in fear
[00:18:35] haunted by the memory of the siren's deadly song
[00:18:38] a chilling reminder of the dangers that lurked beneath the surface of the sea.
[00:18:42] I asked if any of the teenagers had survived that night
[00:18:45] hoping I could ask them some questions
[00:18:47] but sadly they all perished.
[00:18:49] I told the old man that I was doing research for a book I was writing
[00:18:52] and told him of my phobia of the sea
[00:18:54] and he offered to drive me to Holy Island.
[00:18:56] I accepted his invitation as I felt his presence calming.
[00:19:00] I asked if he would need to check the tide times
[00:19:03] but he assured me he knew the tides at the back of his hand.
[00:19:06] I couldn't decide if that made me feel calmer or more uneasy.
[00:19:09] We drove along the crossing road
[00:19:11] I could feel my heart beating faster and faster.
[00:19:13] I gripped the handle of the door on the old car.
[00:19:16] Clive, he told me his name was, noticed this and chuckled
[00:19:20] don't worry pet you'll be fine with me.
[00:19:22] I gave him a half laugh as I could finally see the end of the road.
[00:19:26] We had arrived.
[00:19:27] I got out of the car and looked around
[00:19:29] I've never seen so many seagulls in my life.
[00:19:31] Even Whitby didn't have this many.
[00:19:33] I thanked Clive for all his help.
[00:19:35] He said he would return before the tide came in to take me back.
[00:19:38] Thank you, I said.
[00:19:39] But I'm not sure how long I'm going to be here for.
[00:19:41] He seemed confused by this.
[00:19:43] I just thanked him again and waved him on his way.
[00:19:47] Before we drove off, he said
[00:19:50] if you're planning on staying here
[00:19:52] don't get too close to those cliffs, especially at night.
[00:19:54] You've heard the stories, consider this a warning.
[00:19:57] I had a few hours to kill before nightfall
[00:20:00] so I did some exploring.
[00:20:01] I had a look around the ancient Lindisfarne Priory.
[00:20:04] It reminded me of Whitby Abbey, but nowhere near as big.
[00:20:08] I even found a few little local pubs on the island.
[00:20:11] I had a few rum and corks of course.
[00:20:13] I had never been this nervous before.
[00:20:16] I got speaking to a young woman in one of the pubs
[00:20:19] and asked her if she knew anything of the sirens.
[00:20:21] She told me a story of a young couple who had run away together
[00:20:24] after their parents forbade them to be together.
[00:20:27] The story went.
[00:20:29] One fateful evening, a young couple sought refuge
[00:20:32] in the abandoned ruins scattered along the coastline.
[00:20:35] Ignoring the warnings of the locals
[00:20:37] they ventured closer to the water's edge
[00:20:39] drawn by the allure of the mysterious melody.
[00:20:42] As they stood entranced by the haunting harmony
[00:20:45] shadows began to stir beneath the waves.
[00:20:47] Silhouettes emerged.
[00:20:49] They were feral forms gliding effortlessly through the dark waters.
[00:20:53] With each haunting note, the sirens drew closer
[00:20:56] their voices weaving a hypnotic spell around the unsuspecting couple.
[00:21:00] But just as the sirens reached out to claim their prey
[00:21:03] a sudden gust of wind shattered the trance.
[00:21:06] The couple shaken from their stupor, stumbled backwards
[00:21:09] their hearts pounding with fear.
[00:21:11] Realizing the danger they were in, they fled into the night
[00:21:14] the echoes of the siren's song fading behind them.
[00:21:18] But as they glanced back over their shoulders
[00:21:20] they could have sworn they saw ghostly figures of the sirens
[00:21:23] disappearing into the mist, their eyes gleaming with hunger.
[00:21:26] From that day forth the couple never returned to Holy Island
[00:21:29] haunted by the memory of the siren's song
[00:21:32] and the sinister secrets lurking beneath the waves.
[00:21:35] And as the sun dipped below the horizon
[00:21:37] casting long shadows across the desolate shoreline
[00:21:41] the ancient spirits of the sea whispered their feral lullaby
[00:21:45] waiting for the next unsuspecting soul
[00:21:47] to succumb to their deadly embrace.
[00:21:49] This story really grabbed my attention.
[00:21:53] If it was true you could escape their song.
[00:21:55] I had taken precautions, well the only way I could think of
[00:21:59] noise cancelling headphones.
[00:22:01] My plan was to lure out the sirens
[00:22:03] before the trance takes over and place the headphones over my ears.
[00:22:07] It was probably a long shot but apart from making myself deaf
[00:22:10] I couldn't think of anything else.
[00:22:12] Night came and this was it, now or never.
[00:22:14] I made my way along the winding footpath
[00:22:17] through the dark night, torch in hand, the fog was rolling in.
[00:22:21] I placed the headphones over my ears
[00:22:23] I thought I'm not risking hearing that song until I'm in position.
[00:22:26] I climbed up the hill where Lindisfarne Castle stood
[00:22:29] the wind had really picked up
[00:22:31] and I remember the story of the young couple.
[00:22:33] I may not need the headphones.
[00:22:35] Of course though it wasn't going to be that easy
[00:22:39] as I made my way to the top of the hill
[00:22:41] eerily the wind just stopped and the air was silent.
[00:22:44] That's when I started to hear it.
[00:22:47] Honestly it was like angels singing
[00:22:53] I couldn't believe a creature on earth could make something sound so beautiful.
[00:22:57] I shook my head quickly to try and snap myself out of it.
[00:23:00] I placed the headphones over my ears and moved towards the edge of the cliff.
[00:23:04] Then a huge spectral-like figure arose from the ocean in front of me.
[00:23:08] During all of this time I've never felt fear like this.
[00:23:11] My heart was going at 100 miles an hour
[00:23:13] and I felt a huge lump in my throat.
[00:23:15] It was like as if the sirens knew I was there to kill it.
[00:23:20] The figure shot back down to the ocean
[00:23:22] waves crashing, water spraying up the cliffs soaking me.
[00:23:25] I looked down and the ocean retreated.
[00:23:28] I counted no less than 25 bodies on the rocks.
[00:23:31] Tears streamed down my face and then I saw it.
[00:23:34] The siren and all her glory.
[00:23:36] Long flowing red hair.
[00:23:37] Piercing brown eyes.
[00:23:39] I felt like they were staring into my soul.
[00:23:41] Without hesitation I removed the headphones from my ears.
[00:23:45] I could feel myself being drawn closer and closer to the edge of the cliff.
[00:23:49] I couldn't stop myself.
[00:23:51] A gust of wind pushed me back and made me see sense for a matter of seconds.
[00:23:55] I took out the dagger and ran it across my hand.
[00:23:58] I screamed from the pain but it's what had to be done.
[00:24:01] I let the trance take over me once more and I walked towards the cliff's edge.
[00:24:06] As I was falling I snapped out with my trance like stating again
[00:24:10] to be greeted from rows of sharp jagged teeth from the siren's mouth.
[00:24:13] I held out the dagger in front of me, my blood dripping from the blade.
[00:24:18] I fell directly into the siren and everything went black.
[00:24:22] Sunrise came and I was found on the sand by no other than Clive.
[00:24:26] He dragged me back to the mainland and helped me recall everything that happened.
[00:24:30] Turns out he had seen everything that happened.
[00:24:32] He told me that I had defeated the siren and this little island was now safe again.
[00:24:36] He thanked me and drove me back across the causeway.
[00:24:39] When we got over the crossing I thanked him for everything
[00:24:42] but he insisted that he should be thanking me.
[00:24:45] We went our separate ways and I never looked back.
[00:24:47] So that's it. My terrifying tale of fighting werewolves at Rosbury Topping
[00:24:52] taking on a 200 year old vampire with a suntan,
[00:24:55] fighting off a coven of witches in a forest,
[00:24:58] meeting Olivia to losing Olivia to the greyskins,
[00:25:01] to finally ending it all, conquering my fear of the sea.
[00:25:06] The master has had to leave to take care of some business.
[00:25:10] Maybe you should stay a while longer.
[00:25:12] Igor! I have asked you a thousand times not to bother the customers.
[00:25:19] Don't worry about him. He's harmless.
[00:25:22] I hope you enjoyed this week's tales.
[00:25:25] What are you doing?
[00:25:27] We finally get the police off our backs and you're trying...
