[00:00:10] Hello everyone and hope everyone is well and we are getting closer to Halloween.

[00:00:21] We have some good episodes coming up.

[00:00:24] We have Halloween, we got more than about it and that was time.

[00:00:28] We have special spying.

[00:00:30] So how are the hell are you really?

[00:00:31] I'm good man, Kay Altick. Still.

[00:00:35] I think I've done with the visit with Kay Altick but getting there there's progress us the main thing.

[00:00:40] New house.

[00:00:41] New house.

[00:00:42] Yeah.

[00:00:44] That's, you know, as a lot of work you've seen it today.

[00:00:47] So there's a lot to work to be done but..

[00:00:49] It's better than the one you were in.

[00:00:51] Yes, much better, much better.

[00:00:53] Well it's not a tie dude because it's not as awkward as it's definitely working with me.

[00:00:56] It's definitely going to be better for you in the long run.

[00:00:59] New baby's all caught.

[00:01:01] New baby's doing well.

[00:01:02] She never sleeps, doesn't all what sleep is but apart from that she's doing very well yes.

[00:01:07] Look at how she's got the cover to us this hell from the building.

[00:01:10] Cookin' away nicely, man.

[00:01:13] Right.

[00:01:14] So let's get into this then, man.

[00:01:16] So I'm gonna steal your segment here and ask you a question.

[00:01:21] As soon as you've noticed, it was you who have two young children.

[00:01:24] I was Jim.

[00:01:25] Jim is six.

[00:01:26] Yes, yeah.

[00:01:26] That's very handy actually.

[00:01:29] Right.

[00:01:29] Then so would you be happy for him to be a child at film star?

[00:01:35] Yes.

[00:01:36] Are you thinking money though?

[00:01:37] I'm not for Nickelodeon.

[00:01:44] I'm scared of going point, but I'm not thinking I'm thinking for his career wise.

[00:01:51] Because I mean it's how pop stars and movie stars all start really isn't it somewhere down the line there.

[00:01:59] So yeah, I think they say it's now six.

[00:02:04] No, I'm not at six.

[00:02:06] I should have asked that.

[00:02:07] What about was a voice actor?

[00:02:15] What about that?

[00:02:16] What about that?

[00:02:17] Change it.

[00:02:19] That's a little bit, yes.

[00:02:22] You've been more inclined for that.

[00:02:24] Yeah, yeah, things are not seeing yes because they don't know but maybe.

[00:02:28] Fair enough.

[00:02:28] Fair enough right now.

[00:02:29] So we'll get into the episode then, man.

[00:02:31] Today we're gonna be talking about Judith Basley.

[00:02:33] Have you ever heard of her?

[00:02:34] Not.

[00:02:35] Have you ever seen, when you're most of seen the land before time?

[00:02:38] Yes, I have.

[00:02:39] Yeah, dokey.

[00:02:40] Right, okay.

[00:02:41] So she was the most of dokey but my fame is sweet.

[00:02:43] Well, probably just that's it, obviously.

[00:02:45] She was the voice of Ann Marie on all dogs go to heaven.

[00:02:48] Have you seen all dogs go to heaven?

[00:02:49] Have not.

[00:02:50] I am so happy you've said that.

[00:02:52] Why?

[00:02:53] Because I want to make you watch your part of it at the end.

[00:02:56] Okay.

[00:02:56] All right.

[00:02:57] After would you will want to kill yourself?

[00:02:59] Oh no.

[00:03:00] I don't know.

[00:03:00] Exactly.

[00:03:01] Fantastic.

[00:03:02] Yeah.

[00:03:02] Right.

[00:03:03] And so Judith Basley was an American child actress born on the 6th of June in 1978.

[00:03:10] Basley was born in Los Angeles County, California, the daughter of Joseph Basley and Maria Basley.

[00:03:16] Both immigrants to the US who fled the Hungarian people's Republic following the

[00:03:20] 1959 uprising.

[00:03:22] Sadly, I didn't know time to log into what that was about but yeah, we'll just roll with it.

[00:03:27] Yeah, the two immigrants had different times and met our restaurant in California where

[00:03:31] the real world is a witcher.

[00:03:32] Both would be married previously.

[00:03:35] She began her career in television making appearances in commercials and television series,

[00:03:40] as well as the 1987 film, Josler revenge.

[00:03:44] Oh, I was certainly the worst, you also.

[00:03:47] Yeah, definitely.

[00:03:49] Josler provided the voice of Ducky in the London for a time and Ann Marie and all dogs go to heaven.

[00:03:54] Both were released after her death.

[00:03:57] Oh.

[00:03:59] Exactly.

[00:04:00] So Maria Basley began preparing her daughter to become an actress when Judith was five.

[00:04:06] Basley's first role was in the Fettlevision play in Kimberlimate Dumbled, she went on to appear

[00:04:11] in more than 70 commercials and guest roles on television.

[00:04:15] She also appeared in an episode of Chairs with Ted Dunson, who's the fucker of Chairs.

[00:04:19] You ever say that?

[00:04:20] Yeah, yeah, shit.

[00:04:22] No one cares at pleasure.

[00:04:23] I hope you want to say it.

[00:04:25] You're a chalph, I don't know.

[00:04:27] Chalph, I don't know.

[00:04:28] I don't know.

[00:04:29] I don't know.

[00:04:30] But the pressure was to spin up for Chairs, which she was better.

[00:04:32] Okay, what else is?

[00:04:34] Alright.

[00:04:35] Alright, so about a time she began to figure out a big unforethured story.

[00:04:39] Basley was earning an estimated $100,000 a year.

[00:04:43] She's just crazy.

[00:04:44] How long ago was this?

[00:04:45] This was in the early 80s, so she was bought, yes, she was bought in 78.

[00:04:49] $100,000 a year.

[00:04:51] That's a lot of money in them, does.

[00:04:52] So that's the equivalent of $2,000, basically $2,6000 a day.

[00:04:57] The equivalent of a year.

[00:05:00] Allow an end family to buy a free bedroom house in West Hills in Los Angeles.

[00:05:04] As she was shot for a year, she was at a free for eight.

[00:05:07] So a little bit smaller than you.

[00:05:09] Yeah.

[00:05:10] Wow.

[00:05:12] It's a kid.

[00:05:14] Each ten should be gone receiving home-on injections at UCLA to encourage her growth.

[00:05:18] Her petiteness, her cast and directers to cast her in roles as children,

[00:05:23] who were younger than their actual age.

[00:05:26] Her agent, Ruf Hansen was courted in Los Angeles times as saying that when she was 10,

[00:05:30] she was still playing seven or eight year olds.

[00:05:33] I thought that was out.

[00:05:34] I was going to say that.

[00:05:35] That's not that mental.

[00:05:36] Yeah, she said she was not playing free roles.

[00:05:38] That would be bizarre.

[00:05:41] It's too serious.

[00:05:42] I know it's a big two years when you get to them,

[00:05:43] it's not.

[00:05:45] It's not.

[00:05:45] It's not.

[00:05:45] It's not.

[00:05:45] It's a third off.

[00:05:46] No, yeah.

[00:05:46] But taste what it is.

[00:05:48] But yeah.

[00:05:49] So that's your duty for passing was.

[00:05:50] Right.

[00:05:51] Right.

[00:05:51] So that was come to the...

[00:05:53] I'll just get to me wanting to.

[00:05:55] Right.

[00:05:56] This is what I mean.

[00:05:57] I don't know.

[00:05:58] How was this going to get there?

[00:05:59] Just wait.

[00:06:00] Right then.

[00:06:01] So a beautiful death.

[00:06:04] Oh, God.

[00:06:04] No, sir.

[00:06:05] Right.

[00:06:06] Let me put context to that.

[00:06:07] It's just the way that he says it.

[00:06:08] It's like we've heard a whole nice conversation about someone who's got it.

[00:06:12] A big pig.

[00:06:13] But a new house.

[00:06:14] Abuse and death.

[00:06:16] Right, great.

[00:06:17] So as Basie's career success increase to a thousand Joseph,

[00:06:21] an alcoholic became increasingly angry and repeating threatened to kill himself

[00:06:25] his wife and his daughter.

[00:06:27] Jesus.

[00:06:28] He was arrested three times for drug driving in December 1986.

[00:06:31] Maria reported his threats and physical violence against her to the police.

[00:06:36] After police found no physical evidence, no physical signs of abuse.

[00:06:40] She decided not to press charges against him, which sadly is usually the case even

[00:06:45] no one does.

[00:06:47] After the incident with the police, Joseph reportedly stopped drinking or continued to

[00:06:51] threaten her and chew the food violence including threats to cook their frauds and

[00:06:55] to burn down the house.

[00:06:56] How old was she?

[00:06:57] Now this point.

[00:06:59] What do ten ones you died of?

[00:07:01] Yes.

[00:07:01] You're ten ones you died.

[00:07:04] Right, exactly.

[00:07:06] So yeah.

[00:07:06] So the same thing.

[00:07:06] The French burned down the house.

[00:07:08] It also reportedly hit a telegram in Farming, Maria that a relative in Hungary had died.

[00:07:13] Hort been to prevent her from leaving the United States with Juvediff.

[00:07:16] So probably shit else.

[00:07:18] The physical violence continued with Basie telling a friend that her father threw pots and pans

[00:07:23] at her result in an ennors bleed.

[00:07:26] As a result of being abused, Juvediff Basie began gaining weight and developed compulsory

[00:07:31] in the head and is just poking out air lashes and pulling out her cat's whiskers.

[00:07:37] What the fuck?

[00:07:38] That is the thing I've actually heard of that before.

[00:07:42] There are so anxious, but Juvediff's ball, air eyelashes, I heard of that before.

[00:07:48] I don't know about the cat's whiskers because there must be just like, I guess

[00:07:52] this is because it's similar.

[00:07:53] That's horrific.

[00:07:54] We've obviously saw very nice for the cat, like, but he's not been very, very nice

[00:07:57] for us.

[00:07:58] It's sort of like, you know.

[00:08:00] No, not one of them situation.

[00:08:02] He can't.

[00:08:03] That's how serial killer's a ball.

[00:08:06] No, it's no.

[00:08:07] It is because you read directing what you're going through.

[00:08:10] Yeah, but yeah, like I said, the book, like, it's like I've said to her that is actually a thing.

[00:08:14] It's a pure anxiety, you're reading things.

[00:08:16] No, too, yes.

[00:08:16] To herself.

[00:08:17] Yes, exactly.

[00:08:18] So she's pulled out all the fucking eyelashes and got them fucking left.

[00:08:21] She's been crazy here.

[00:08:22] Yeah, that's what I'm saying though.

[00:08:23] She's redirected and redirected.

[00:08:25] Yeah, but it's been, it's been, oh, it was six and a half understandable.

[00:08:29] No, but go on.

[00:08:30] Right, we are a dick.

[00:08:32] Right then.

[00:08:34] Break.

[00:08:36] It meant 1989 after breaking down in front of her, front of her age in proof Hanson.

[00:08:41] Judy was taken by Maria to a child psychologist who identified severe physical and emotional abuse

[00:08:46] and her partner found in us to child protective services.

[00:08:49] Right, see?

[00:08:50] And at this point, everything should be fine and fixed.

[00:08:52] Should be.

[00:08:53] The investigation was dropped after Maria.

[00:08:57] A shoe, a shoe would, the case where her that she intended to begin divorce proceedings

[00:09:00] against Joseph and she and Judy were going to move into.

[00:09:06] Have the hell do you say that?

[00:09:09] Yeah.

[00:09:09] Pound her arm a city.

[00:09:10] Hi, I'm Pound her arm a city.

[00:09:11] Fair enough.

[00:09:13] They're going to move into an apartment there that she had recently rented as a day-time haven from.

[00:09:19] She was used as a place to go during the day-to-day.

[00:09:22] Yeah, you know that's depressing.

[00:09:25] So Maria's friends urged her to follow through on the planned book she has attended for

[00:09:30] Ferro and losing to family home and the belongings.

[00:09:33] Which is simply.

[00:09:35] I can sort of understand but then at the same time just like a wooden fucking couch.

[00:09:39] I've got a child gone.

[00:09:42] July 28, 1988.

[00:09:44] The last century's times were partly that three people had been founded in an apartment

[00:09:48] and murdered slash suicide and that the bodies were believed to be those of Basie,

[00:09:53] her mother Maria and her father Joseph.

[00:09:56] The article court in police lieutenant, what a nose is saying that.

[00:09:59] A flammable liquid, presumably gasoline, had been part on the bodies of Maria and Judy's

[00:10:04] bad Joseph.

[00:10:05] Joseph's body was found in the garage.

[00:10:09] He died from what was determined to be self-affected gunshot wound.

[00:10:14] Never, you necessarily said that she had heard a gunshot around 830 a.m. on July 27,

[00:10:21] from the notes of call the police.

[00:10:22] Basie and Emma were buried in Forestland Memorial Park in a joint in pots.

[00:10:28] Jesus Christ.

[00:10:29] Yeah, I have to press in this hell.

[00:10:31] I think he killed them by chewing them.

[00:10:33] Well, I'm sorry.

[00:10:34] So then obviously he said, like, I'm not a guest of eight dollars or another.

[00:10:38] But yeah, that's just...

[00:10:41] Everything in it?

[00:10:43] Yeah, yeah.

[00:10:44] So told you, it's for carpool.

[00:10:45] Yeah, it is.

[00:10:46] It is.

[00:10:48] It's just one of those stories you hear far too often though, isn't it?

[00:10:51] Do you know what I mean where it comes to abuse from,

[00:10:54] that unfortunately most of the time it is the father and nothing's been done?

[00:10:58] Still getting any ideas.

[00:11:02] No, no, no, no, no, no, no.

[00:11:03] We'll be a quadruple on that one now.

[00:11:06] Yeah, but it's it's a man though because

[00:11:12] she's eating two films that like ruined me as a kid.

[00:11:16] And I didn't even know until recently would you be ruined?

[00:11:19] Well, like say, all dogs are not having the most depressing thing in the world.

[00:11:22] Which you will say, so we don't obviously land before time when little from little for some man dies.

[00:11:26] Right, okay.

[00:11:26] Just to put in the depression is help.

[00:11:28] Yeah.

[00:11:28] But there's no one to kid to fuck up back then.

[00:11:30] I mean, put in the misery.

[00:11:31] I don't know what you know what I mean.

[00:11:33] I only did it was watch telly then it fucking watershipped down with all the fucking rubbish that day and like put now.

[00:12:20] I'm going to tell you about burnt Reynolds and you want to know about Reynolds is,

[00:12:23] you're what you're in.

[00:12:25] You are absolutely addicted to 26 minutes.

[00:12:27] I don't care if you 26 should have burnt Reynolds is.

[00:12:31] I'm going to quickly give a burnt Reynolds a short belly.

[00:12:34] I've seen the face, yes.

[00:12:35] You're fucking loads of things anyway.

[00:12:39] So it was at Corsstar and Aldo's got a heaven.

[00:12:42] It was the most of Charlie.

[00:12:44] Right, so I'll go and have a heaven.

[00:12:47] When I'm at the Scrabby, he's got a mental.

[00:12:51] It's not really fucking trippy.

[00:12:53] So basically Charlie is a con man but he's a duck.

[00:12:56] He's not like he's a man trapped in a dog's body.

[00:12:58] He's just a dog but like say,

[00:13:02] what?

[00:13:03] Just roll with me.

[00:13:04] Just go with me.

[00:13:05] Right, okay.

[00:13:06] And obviously he's a duck.

[00:13:08] I'll talk to a children boss.

[00:13:09] People don't know that they can talk.

[00:13:10] They're like, right.

[00:13:11] I'm really, she can talk to them.

[00:13:13] She's a bit off and kid.

[00:13:15] And everything.

[00:13:16] So there's other dogs who are talking to a dog.

[00:13:19] No, no.

[00:13:20] So she's an actual human.

[00:13:21] Yeah, she's a human right side.

[00:13:22] And then they said, this is, they're off a dog who's like,

[00:13:27] like, mafia.

[00:13:30] Right.

[00:13:31] But they wanted the use over because she can actually speak to them.

[00:13:34] Right.

[00:13:34] You understand that but everything.

[00:13:36] And basically Charlie's a twat and then basically they're whole

[00:13:39] fighting.

[00:13:39] Obviously all dogs got to heaven because they're pure and golden.

[00:13:42] Now this follows.

[00:13:43] Yeah, because Charlie's a twat.

[00:13:45] Because he's a con man.

[00:13:46] He doesn't get, he dies and doesn't get into heaven.

[00:13:48] But then he gets to go back, right.

[00:13:49] He's been himself and then he saves a look at.

[00:13:52] So he basically kills himself to save a,

[00:13:54] So they get to go to heaven.

[00:13:56] So I bet Reynolds was the voice of him.

[00:13:59] And now it's said that obviously in old dogs,

[00:14:01] he wanted to have an opposite came out after she died.

[00:14:04] And before they finished obviously recording everything.

[00:14:09] One final scene is a record.

[00:14:12] And it was the same where Charlie comes back and says,

[00:14:14] good bye to her.

[00:14:16] Right.

[00:14:17] And apparently, yeah, we're going to hold close to you.

[00:14:19] Also, we should stay in one person.

[00:14:21] Obviously you know, pressing the buttons and apparently talking

[00:14:23] with like 70 attempts to do it because you just get breaking down

[00:14:27] the crowd Jesus Christ.

[00:14:29] So properly, properly depressing.

[00:14:31] Like you say when you are to you can literally hear it in this voice.

[00:14:34] Yeah.

[00:14:34] Right.

[00:14:35] So I'm going to give you a look at what's this.

[00:14:38] I put the idea when the episode when I had that bond.

[00:14:41] So this is him talking to her in the scene.

[00:14:43] But obviously she's passed on now and we're like,

[00:14:45] Yeah.

[00:14:46] Yeah.

[00:14:46] Well, but Reynolds has one.

[00:14:48] Yeah.

[00:14:50] Yeah.

[00:14:53] So I put this in and I put the audio on once.

[00:14:55] So I put this in and I put the audio on once.

[00:14:56] Time for like maybe five minutes.

[00:14:57] We'll just sit there and watch this.

[00:14:59] Okay.

[00:14:59] I'll sit as a cartoon.

[00:15:00] Yeah, it's cartoon.

[00:15:02] How did the fucking cartoon look at you?

[00:15:04] You never know me.

[00:15:06] Watch this.

[00:15:08] She's like her in the bed.

[00:15:11] And that's Bert Reynolds.

[00:15:13] Oh, they're Reynolds is the association.

[00:15:16] All right.

[00:15:16] Okay.

[00:15:17] Has it sent to them for a while to say it?

[00:15:21] Thanks.

[00:15:22] Just watch her.

[00:15:45] You said I'd try.

[00:15:47] You can do my voice.

[00:15:59] Try and eat.

[00:16:00] It's a natural voice.

[00:16:02] Please.

[00:16:04] I hear you, kid.

[00:16:06] Okay.

[00:16:06] How are you?

[00:16:09] I come to say goodbye.

[00:16:11] Where are you going?

[00:16:17] I'm going to do something for me, right?

[00:16:20] I'm going to take care of you.

[00:16:22] Yeah, it's what I'm going.

[00:16:24] You got a home, huh?

[00:16:26] You don't have me right?

[00:16:28] Don't worry Charlie, I will.

[00:16:36] Oh Charlie, I'll miss you.

[00:16:44] I'll miss you too, squandered.

[00:16:46] Then you'll miss me.

[00:16:50] Charlie, I've never seen you again.

[00:16:52] Sure.

[00:16:53] Sure you'll be back in the middle.

[00:16:56] You know, good-bye, is that forever?

[00:16:58] And goodbye, Charlie.

[00:17:18] I'm just gonna go to that line.

[00:17:32] With a lines as well.

[00:17:35] That's fucking horrible.

[00:17:38] I told you, I was just an episode was to press you to be good ever say it.

[00:17:43] Oh, it's horrible, up, man.

[00:17:45] Because I didn't know he already had her.

[00:17:46] I didn't think she was going to speak.

[00:17:48] I thought makes it worse than that.

[00:17:52] Okay.

[00:17:53] It's the words you used as well.

[00:17:55] Exactly.

[00:17:55] Well I see you're probably hearing his voice, Gatne.

[00:17:58] That one bit where I signal to you that night.

[00:18:00] That was the worst there.

[00:18:02] Is it here?

[00:18:03] What are you saying?

[00:18:03] Imagine watching that as a kid like I do.

[00:18:06] And then knowing that as well.

[00:18:07] Exactly.

[00:18:09] Obviously you're fucking horrendous.

[00:18:11] Fucking hell.

[00:18:13] Crazy.

[00:18:13] I don't know.

[00:18:14] Fucking bro, I'm learning it.

[00:18:18] Well yeah, that's it really.

[00:18:19] So I mean...

[00:18:21] I say it's being an idiot.

[00:18:22] I don't just only a shot on, but...

[00:18:25] It's just being really fucking depressing.

[00:18:27] It's being sad.

[00:18:28] It's very sad.

[00:18:29] Very, very sad.

[00:18:31] Well I'll put this one out before I'm in the Halloween specials.

[00:18:35] So should we tell people what we've got coming up then?

[00:18:37] Let's go through it now.

[00:18:39] And so we are recording that sort of next with the Bell Witch podcast.

[00:18:43] So that's going to be all about modern day, witchery and weird shit.

[00:18:47] Yep.

[00:18:49] Then we've got two returning guests.

[00:18:51] We've got to see Mark here.

[00:18:52] He was also known as Matt and the Major.

[00:18:53] And coming back on the form of the last year.

[00:18:55] Yeah, that's going to be...

[00:18:56] I'm not referring to that one.

[00:18:57] There's no coming as well.

[00:18:58] Some of the experiences in the in-will of hard around Halloween.

[00:19:01] Doing his work that he does.

[00:19:03] Yeah, that kind of way to hear something.

[00:19:04] I know.

[00:19:05] And then coming back for the far future.

[00:19:07] I've got to tell me from it.

[00:19:08] Let's get free.

[00:19:10] Yep.

[00:19:10] Love to me.

[00:19:11] He's going to obviously go through some of his personal experiences.

[00:19:15] And obviously...

[00:19:17] I'm interested to...

[00:19:18] The one with Mark is especially, because obviously we're going to ask people

[00:19:20] that you know early Halloween memories in that.

[00:19:22] Mm-hmm.

[00:19:24] That's...

[00:19:24] Not in a horrible way, but exactly.

[00:19:26] Certainly.

[00:19:26] Certainly.

[00:19:27] And then all the denotes.

[00:19:28] It'll be interesting.

[00:19:29] Yeah.

[00:19:29] You'll experience definitely.

[00:19:32] And then finally...

[00:19:34] Well, say finally.

[00:19:36] There's what I'll wrap up about when it's up to me.

[00:19:39] But in the podcast, sinful culture coming down to talk to us all about

[00:19:42] Hodor films and Halloween.

[00:19:43] Yes.

[00:19:44] Well, that's going to be good as well.

[00:19:45] That will be good.

[00:19:47] All right.

[00:19:48] So...

[00:19:48] That's it.

[00:19:48] Then in this.

[00:19:50] So, shall we leave it there, Matt?

[00:19:51] Yeah, let's leave the sack one behind.

[00:19:54] Really can go on over a little cry for 10 minutes.
