[00:00:21] Well then guys, welcome back into The Spooky Shed Podcast, your go-to place for conversations around all things weird, scary and of course spooky. I forgot my little line there, I don't know why but I did. Anyway, we have got another Halloween special for you and we have got Chris from The Wandering Road Podcast back in the shed. Chris, how the hell are you mate? I'm good sir, how are you? Good, good, good, yes, I'm good, I'm good.

[00:00:44] I've just had an absolute killer of a week at work, I think I've done about 62 hours this week and I only get paid for 45 of them so that's fucking fantastic. Oh, that's lovely, isn't that great? Yeah. It's always great. It's fantastic. I know what you mean. Because I'm in the same position, you know, once you're salaried like there is no overtime. Yeah, exactly, it's bullshit, absolute bullshit. The only good thing is I can take them hours back. So next week I have about four days off.

[00:01:15] Oh, that's not bad at all. I think this is the only time there. Yeah, I think this is the only time I've ever seen you not in a Liverpool shirt. I know we've just been talking about football but yeah. I'm in a SpongeBob shirt today. Fair play. In my opinion, that's better. I'd expect that, you're a Borough fan so that's alright. Exactly. We're not rivals. Let's dive into...

[00:01:44] No, no, no. And like we said before, me, you and Tommy, it's funny that we all support teams that play in red. Yeah. Yeah. Right then, mate, let's jump into the Halloween chat then. So, obviously, I'm going to guess, obviously, you're a big fan of Halloween. So, talk to me. What was Halloween like for you as a kid where you grew up? No, you're wrong. I absolutely hate it. I'm kidding. No. Fair enough. We'll just end this now then. Yeah. Yeah.

[00:02:14] That's the episode, people. We'll see you next time. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Halloween as a kid, it was interesting because I come from like an immigrant family. So, they're like, the hell is Halloween type of thing, you know? So, like, they eventually figured it out. It's like, oh, we got to give candy out to kids and all this shit.

[00:02:44] But I remember, like, I always liked Halloween. I always liked the costumes. I was always a fan of superheroes, Power Rangers back in the day. So, I remember the earliest costume that I had that I remember, that I remember wearing. I could, like, see myself actually wearing it was Batman. I dressed up as Batman. I was probably five or six years old. So, I always enjoyed dressing up as superheroes.

[00:03:13] And my favorite candy, like, the number one candy I always liked getting was Twix bars or Cadbury bars. And so, like, some aunts and uncles and stuff like that and, like, my grandmother, like, they would travel internationally and they would get Cadbury bars. They'd bring them back and, you know, they were, like, from the UK because they would have the little seal on the back. And I don't know why. I just prefer those.

[00:03:43] So, my dad, like, anytime I go visit him in Florida, he's like, go open it in the fridge. And he has one in there for me to this day. Like, oh, that's kind of a thing. So, always enjoyed those Twix bars. I always like M&Ms too. So, can't go wrong with those. Which type of M&M though? I get it. It depends on the mood I'm in. I don't mind. I don't mind.

[00:04:09] You remember back in the 90s, Liam, when they had the one with the crunch inside? It was like a blue bag and. Yeah, yeah, the crispy ones. They're my favorite. Yes. Yes. I never knew why they got rid of them. They were so good. But there's still a thing over here. Is it? Yeah, yeah. It's probably over here too, but I have to look for it because it's not. Because I remember they brought them. They brought them out. And for a long time, like, you just couldn't, like, you couldn't find them anywhere.

[00:04:40] Then they tried pretzels, which was kind of gross. Yeah, because the yellow bags of peanuts and the brown bags of chocolate and the blue was crispy. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. Because all the cinemas over here now, if you get a popcorn, they'll put crispy M&Ms in with the popcorn. It's unreal. Are you serious? Yeah. What the fuck? We're not doing that. What the hell? Yeah. Cinemark is getting complaints from me. I mean, I'm not going to lie.

[00:05:10] That definitely seems like an American thing as well. Yeah. It definitely sounds American. I'm like, I kind of half expected you to say you put gravy in your popcorn, but. Yeah. That's not a bad idea. Try it out. Let me know how it goes. That'd be the salted one though. Couldn't do one like sweet popcorn. That'd be weird. No, that'd be gross. The caramel one. No, actually, actually, actually, that might work because I'm fucking weird.

[00:05:38] So we're going a little bit off, off Halloween stuff here. We're going down the food route for some reason, but this is, this is why I like doing it. Exactly. But everybody says I'm weird for this. Well, everybody has said that I'm weird for this and I've made about, I've managed to get about five people to try it and then they've all agreed with me. Okay. So like I'm talking obviously like our gravy, not the gravy that you guys have. Chocolate chip cookies dipped in gravy, like beef gravy.

[00:06:06] it's nice i don't care what anybody says like i say yeah i can see the face you're pulling trust me don't know why but it works huh you said chocolate chip cookie don't you guys call it a biscuit we called no we so we call biscuits biscuits and we call cookies cookies they're two different things because i've heard i've literally heard arguments on podcasts

[00:06:31] arguing back and forth about what a biscuit is and i'm like okay all right so you cleared the air for me all right great um i guess if you freeze some gravy and ship that shit over to me i'll try but literally everybody i've told that too they've all like looked at me like i'm some sort of serial killer like i said i've managed to get about five or six of them to try it and then they've all gone

[00:06:58] like yeah right well most of them have gone yeah it's not as bad as i thought it was going to be but i'm not going to do it on the regular i'm like well you're missing out that's your problem is there a specific brand of gravy that is like the mainstay or not particularly i mean bistro bistro is the classic over here that everybody uses bistro yeah and it's called beef gravy yeah well they do they do they do beef they do chicken yeah

[00:07:26] bistro beef gravy it is six dollars oh i could get i could get it at walmart holy crap yeah i'd be surprised if you couldn't to be fair yeah yeah i'll have to i'll have to try that then yeah because like is there a specific brand of chocolate chip cookies uh no it doesn't it doesn't really it doesn't really matter no

[00:07:54] okay i'll have to i'll have to try that if i throw up no you won't you won't i think i think i think it's it's like the sweetness of the cookie and the saltiness of the gravy and like the two like you don't you don't soak it in it you just you know just a daft little dip like you're dipping it like you're dipping it like you're dipping it in a cup of tea yeah don't drown it in it just drown it just a little bit at a time got it yeah okay yeah like you want more biscuit than gravy in

[00:08:23] your mouth when you're eating it okay that's fair all right that's fair okay you've literally spoken about that for longer than anything else i know i know i'll try it and i'll let you know nice but uh the halloween stuff yes yes yes so yeah batman i always love costumes dressed as batman always just as superheroes and the opportunity that i had as a kid to do that um i always like scary things

[00:08:52] as a kid as you as you can tell based off of what i shared last time um because that shit traumatized me so i guess it's a trauma bond with horror and with halloween but i've always liked the autumn season in general um i don't know there's something about sunset when it's around october time end of september going into october i don't know if you feel this too but it's like there's something in the

[00:09:21] air that cool crisp air it just feels relaxing and invigorating and it's like this this feels great it just feels right so from that perspective i've always liked the time of year obviously the candy is a given but um seeing all the decorations come out and people getting involved with it taking it seriously more so now than they did when i was younger because where i grew up um it was kind of

[00:09:50] hit or miss uh because you know i grew like being part of an immigrant family you grew up a lot around other immigrant families so some people did not view it in a positive manner they're like why are people dressing up as monsters and and witches and all this stuff so there wasn't a understanding

[00:10:12] at the time but like you know as with everything it just grows and it grows on people and i think the thing that i noticed people hated the most is having to give out free candy it's like okay i gotta go spend 20 30 dollars back then on candy we're like now like freaking over here we have sam's club

[00:10:38] and costco and i think like a bag is a bag of candy i don't know maybe 200 pieces or something is like i don't know 30 and it's and they're not the big kind it's just little things by the way this is my stress pig so if you wonder what's that in my hand um it's not a it's not a monster or anything people

[00:11:01] it's just a pig um yeah so from that perspective liam that's that's kind of how like halloween was for me as a kid uh obviously when it comes to things we could do it was very limited um because i grew up in new york city it's not like i could go to a pumpkin farm and pick a pumpkin no i had to go to the fucking supermarket and pick out a pumpkin and then we would carve it and and do all that fun stuff

[00:11:31] with it but um as a kid like you know if my parents wanted to take me out they would they would take me out trick-or-treating and stuff like that and but when i was a teen i didn't really while i was still in school i didn't really um engage with it much because i don't know like at a

[00:11:57] certain point it's like oh this is for kids you don't really you don't really care um and then like i'd say towards i think the equivalent for us i think yours is what secondary school we call it high school or do you guys call it the same thing no so like because you have free schools don't you yeah we have elementary middle and high school so the high school is like the last before you go to

[00:12:24] university yes so we well there was what there was one place here norwich they they used to do they used to do the free schools and everywhere else is just two so we have primary school and secondary school secondary okay yeah yeah so i'm sure you guys are at school for longer than we are like how old are you when you leave school uh 18 yeah we see i was 15 when i left school really

[00:12:50] wow yeah oh my gosh no it's 15 15x my birthday's in july yes i was 15 i was 15 when i left school kind of jealous holy shit dude that's insane but yeah well i'm i'm gonna guess it's because like so so then like our our like high school would be our six yeah like them extra years would be what we have as sixth form college okay so like that's where you go and do like a levels and all that sort of

[00:13:20] stuff i mean i didn't i wouldn't i for some stupid reason i thought i'd try and be a bricklayer which was awful hated it the most boring thing on the planet but yeah i thought i like lego so laying bricks will be good but it's different no it's it's very uh labor intensive yeah but um yeah so i'd say halfway through high school is when i kind of got into it again um just because like my cousin went

[00:13:48] to the university literally across the street from the high school that i went to so him and i would uh we commute together and he'd take me back home we'd go at the same time and like when him and his friends would dress up i would i hung out mostly with him more so than i did with any of my friends in high school because of like we were all scattered everywhere it's like not everybody

[00:14:12] lived in the same neighborhood so that's when i started getting back into like the costume stuff and we went trick-or-treating and got candy it was all about candy and all that stuff so um i think like in my teen years like i would wear like the jason mask or like the ghost face mask you remember the original ghost face mask that they came out with where it would like it had like a tube

[00:14:40] yeah and it was a hard yes i had one of those yeah i was literally talking about that last night yeah yeah so i had one of those and you know being a teen like you you want to like scare people not not in any like malicious type of thing like if i had the ghost face mask on i would walk and i would just like squeeze the thing and blood would just pour down your face and people be like

[00:15:06] oh what the fuck you know type of thing so yeah and then like i would was into horror movies i was always into like horror paranormal tv shows the first horror movie i ever watched as a child i was 11 years old was The Exorcist nice the original yeah so that was my like gateway into horror movies and

[00:15:36] anytime i get a chance to watch a horror movie i take it no matter how bad it is you know you kind of appreciate how good it is and you appreciate how bad how good the bad is if that makes sense it's like oh this is pretty shitty but i get the concept yeah because i i always say for me with uh with horror

[00:16:00] movies there's no mediocre ones they're either utter dog shit or fucking fantastic there's no there's no there's none that are just in the middle or either shit or brilliant i think yeah do you remember that eddie murphy movie where he was like a vampire in like new york city or whatever no no oh god now i have to look it up give me a second so eddie murphy's a vampire i can't even picture that

[00:16:29] that's it that's yeah it was it was in 95 vampire in brooklyn right and now we have said that i might have done the name definitely rings a bell yeah yeah is it one of them eddie murphy movies where he doesn't look like eddie murphy no he looks like eddie murphy fair but his hair is like slick back and he his like eyes are like yellowish cat looking eyes yeah i might have seen it then now you've said the

[00:16:53] name it definitely rings a bell i've definitely heard of it anyway yeah um i think an underrated movie that i watched when i was younger was 13 ghosts i don't know if you ever seen 13 ghosts is fucking brilliant yes so good there was always a rumor that netflix was going to make this series that it was going to be an episode about each ghost and i'm like i really wanted to happen

[00:17:20] i know it's like it's been i've heard that for like the past 10 years and it's never happened yeah the thing with 13 ghosts as well like like the casting in it is really really bizarre yeah like i think it is anyway uh i just remember matthew lillard i forget who else was in there well the the mental thing is so like like the the woman who was in it it was like the i don't know what you call her i don't know she's

[00:17:48] like the i don't know what the hell is she is she supposed to be like the hero do you know what i'm talking about she's like a bit like a lara like a lara croft type character yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah who plays her that was the teacher off matilda believe it or not oh yeah yeah yeah the teacher off matilda yes yes she's mental but you can't get more opposite than that like she's a fucking good actor it was only about a year or two ago i realized that the last time i watched it i

[00:18:17] was like i've seen her fucking face from somewhere it's fucking teacher off matilda i never realized that oh man um i really liked uh zombie movies as well so like night of the living dead um there was another one filmed here in Pittsburgh at the Monroeville Mall um which is not too far from me

[00:18:46] fuck it's i forget the name of it not dawn of the dead is it i think it might be yeah it's like they're in the mall or whatever yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah the original one was brilliant the remake was a bit iffy yeah then there's another one that was filled here filmed here

[00:19:08] with uh john leguizamo i think it's land of the dead yeah it's land of the dead and um the guy that plays uh the zombie that kind of becomes sentient and he like figures out how to use a gun and all this other stuff they call it big daddy the actor he he goes to steel city con a lot and he has like a

[00:19:34] table set up and he's like dressed up as a zombie it's actually pretty cool nice cool yeah um i'm trying to think here what other horror movies i mean halloween you know your cliche ones but as far as halloween movies go this is gonna sound really cheesy but i've always liked hocus pocus like i said it's it's a classic you can't it is you can't not go on you can't not go through halloween

[00:20:03] like october and not watch hocus pocus at least once yeah yeah we've probably watched it about two or three times already we'll probably watch it another 10 times before halloween itself um the other cheesy movies was the halloween town movies i love those i fucking love them i still watched them now well i won't watch the third one because the third one's bollocks but this yeah that one doesn't have the same people yeah the second the second one's the

[00:20:32] best calabar's revenge yeah calabar's revenge yeah that's fucking love that movie and oh little fun fact so they're the young lass in it and the guy who's calabar's son i'm pretty i'm pretty certain married in real life really yeah i never i never knew that yeah i'm pretty i'm pretty sure i'm right on that i could be wrong now now i've said it probably isn't wrong but i'm 99 sure that's right

[00:20:59] yeah you know it's crazy there's i think there's like a convention going on in altoona might be Altoona um and she's gonna be there with judith hoag yeah that'll be cool i know i know i spend too much money on conventions i can't i can't do another one so that's why i'm kind of glad we don't they're not really a thing over here i wish there were but then i go i'm also kind of glad they're not because i would be skinned money doesn't exist

[00:21:31] like it just it just becomes a thing that's like oh i gotta meet this person this person this person and then you go to the vendor booths i'm like oh this is really nice 75 dollars is not that bad then you look at your bank account the next day and it's like oh i can't eat like i've got a lot of crap in the shed as it is like say if we're conventions and stuff here there'd be no room in here

[00:21:59] yeah no i i get it man but yeah from yeah from that horror movie perspective like i i don't consider those they're more halloweeny type movies i mean yeah because like christmas is a disney movies i don't know say i always say nightmare before christmas you can watch it on halloween but it is more of a christmas film for me you think so i'd rather watch it at christmas because i think the whole like there's there's more christmas than halloween in it true yeah to me

[00:22:28] i mean i'll watch it at both but i prefer watching it at christmas is there a a horror movie that you absolutely despise oh that is a that's a hard one because like i said i'm a bit like you like even the really shit ones i can sort of like like you know i i get i get the idea like most of the time i always say it was a good idea which

[00:22:58] was badly done sort of thing yeah um oh well yeah no there's one that i can't believe i didn't even think of this so have you heard of the Pendle Hill witches Pendle Hill witches no no so that that was basically that was our version of the salem witch trials basically but long before and and then somebody somebody made a move about it it's called the haunting of pendle hill and it is like not even just

[00:23:28] horror movie it is genuinely i think i think i told you and tell me about this because they i've decided now if anybody pisses me off i'm going to tell them to go and watch this film just to waste an hour and a half of their entire existence because this is literally the worst thing i've ever seen with my own two eyes i kind of want to watch that movie about the witches though the pendulum witches is it that bad yeah it really it really is that bad like it is it honestly it is literally

[00:23:57] one of the like the funny thing is i only watched it like i was about 45 minutes in and i was just like what even is this this is this is literally this is utter shit how has this even been allowed to be made and i had it was like that's how bad it was it was that bad i had to finish it

[00:24:18] just to see how it ended now i have to now i have to watch it you know um i ask a lot of people this but some people it's hit or miss you ever seen the wishmaster series no no oh dude it's it's like b

[00:24:45] right fair enough yeah there's um okay you want some really fucked up horror movies always these these movies were made in turkey from they're from turkey they're stories true stories based off people's experiences and they're called dabe and it's based off of gin hauntings and at the end of each film

[00:25:11] it has like the legitimate like actual story like newspaper clippings and everything from each it's it's utterly disturbing so i highly recommend them yeah i'll have to try and find them somewhere yeah yeah yeah they used to be on netflix they used to be on netflix i don't know if they're like on prime you might if you google it you'll probably hopefully they're on tubi or something yeah so you can find

[00:25:37] them for free um what other movies are there that i think are like absolute okay this one i personally enjoy but the curse of la llorona from the conjuring series if you've seen that one it's the only one i haven't watched a lot of people say it's bad but i like it yeah it it it's not as scary as it should

[00:26:05] be but it's like still kind of messed up so give that one a shot and let me know what you think but yeah it was the only one i didn't watch because i was like how the hell does this tie into the conjuring series or doesn't it not really no it's more so i guess the thing yeah i guess the conjuring series is just taking like overall horror and they're probably just adapting like stories yeah

[00:26:34] of like hauntings and stuff and just slapping the brand on it well that there's one that was dog shit and i refuse to watch the second one the nun oh come on it's it is so bad oh come on really so bad i like it i i'm the opposite i i saw both of them we went to a drive-in to watch the second one i i hated it i remember i remember when it came out because i'm i'm one of the people i actually

[00:27:02] i used to do quite like the conjuring conjuring movies i know a lot of a lot of people hate them and i get why they hate them like i i hate aspects of them the fact that they're all that they're dramatized more than they actually fucking need to be and that and that sort of stuff and i and i hate the use at the enfield for the second one because it's it didn't happen i know you hate you hate

[00:27:26] that yeah pisses me off there's so many other ones they could have fucking used um yeah the first one is really good though yeah that one's really good but we say when the nun came out i was like because whilst whilst whilst i hated the second one i thought oh the the this nun's quite fucking freaky creepy yeah yeah i was like then when i heard it was getting its own film i was like oh this this could be all right and i remember me and me and my mate we went on like a fucking double date thing to

[00:27:55] go and watch it and the last that i was with me never never seen her again for obvious reasons because all i did was just sit there and like every 10 minutes i'll just kept i just kept like leaning this is fucking shit okay now i gotta think back like the original yeah yeah yeah so i like the first

[00:28:22] nun movie i didn't mind it and the reason being is because it was one it was creepy as hell and the atmosphere when they went when the one priest i think he was sent by rome yeah to go he's like talking to the abbess and abbess is fucking dead and like giving him lodging and all that stuff and

[00:28:44] so it it hit the creepy factor i think but i think the story to your point the story was kind of a little bit ass i think i think i think it was one of them it falls under that category for me good idea badly done yeah for me yeah yeah personally yeah um the second one i i get your point where she's like a saint or something and i've not even seen the second one i refuse to watch it after the first one

[00:29:12] okay it you have to watch it now right fair even put it times two speed if you have to oh there was one have you seen that one with fucking russell crowe the pope's exorcist yeah that one's shit too yeah the trailer for that looked so fucking good i was absolutely i was buzzing for that i went to cinema to watch that on my own and again i was just i i finished and i was

[00:29:39] just like oh that was fucking disappointing yeah because they've they even like put it the trailer in a different order to how things happen in the movie and if it was in if it was in the order that the trailer was it they've been a better fucking movie yeah yeah it's it was just it's just poorly done um it doesn't do justice to that uh that priest that father that that did those exorcists

[00:30:06] exorcism excuse me um fucking dog scared the fuck out of me i can hear my cats arguing with another one outside the shed all i can hear it hello every two seconds you know what's a really good movie well it's good to me but it's i think it's really underrated i think it's what is it called the right with anthony hopkins yes that is a

[00:30:34] fucking good one where he's an exorcist in rome yeah and the i think the guy's like american or something like that and he goes to seminary and starts to learn about demons and all these different things yeah and he's like he's skeptical and anthony hopkins character is like okay you're skeptical come on i gotta show you something and like he does he exercises this one girl and was it a girl or a

[00:30:59] woman that's pregnant and she like spits up nails it's disgusting dude yeah oh what's the one with him who was originally the hulk his name eric banner what was that one eric banner wow what the fuck was that one he was in oh let me i'm gonna have to i'm gonna have to google it i'll take this out if i have to for take oh what the hell was it called that's gonna drive me mad where the hell is it

[00:31:29] deliver us from evil deliver us from evil what year did that come out that came out in 2014 2014 2014 Deliver Us from Evil that's like the exorcist crossed with law and order oh okay deliver us from evil yeah that that one was pretty good i didn't mind okay i i haven't watched that i

[00:31:52] need to watch that one yeah i like i like a i like a good exorcism film me like i do too i like the exorcism of emily rose because again that's that's very much like the exorcist crossed with law and order like that they're my two favorite things like crime dramas and fucking exorcisms

[00:32:12] you know um a really creepy one uh is nefarious nefarious that one so the whole premise is that this guy is a he's like a he's like an atheist psychiatrist or something right and he has to go evaluate this criminal to deem whether he's insane or whatever he did he was like i guess coherent

[00:32:41] and it's in it's an amazing back and forth it just the most of the film just takes place in the interrogation room and it's just a back and forth with a theological conversation just while you'll love it you'll love it um another one that i watched two years ago it's

[00:33:03] really fucking funny my wife suggested the movie and it's called you probably have seen it you may not have it's called immaculate and it stars sydney sweeney oh yeah yeah of course i've seen anything with her and i'll watch so so we go watch and she's like okay let's go watch this movie and i thought it was good and not just it was good it was good it was creepy as hell too

[00:33:33] i mean she made it better the whole concept of it was really creepy and there was one scene obviously she she's all immersed in water and you can see everything and my wife looks at me and says like you knew this was gonna happen wasn't you i'm like i don't fucking know you're the one that

[00:33:53] wanted to watch this so i got in trouble for not even picking the movie but well that that there's there's a good one there's a funny little story there seeing as we've mentioned her i've seen a really good tweet from uh a guy who does one of my favorite podcasts he's just been to australia and he said i've just spent an 11 hour an 11 hour flight in silence because the missus turned to me

[00:34:22] and said what was your favorite part about sydney and responding with probably her tits wasn't a good idea oh that's terrible oh that's terrible it's a good tweet you don't get many good tweets anymore but that one was one no you don't you don't

[00:34:46] um if i had to pick like um i don't know do like a movie just a horror movie i could watch consistently probably the exorcist and i feel like that movie holds up so well yeah for a creepy factor and it's like if you watch that as your first horror movie you're always chasing that high

[00:35:14] that the exorcist provided and you that's why i'm like you i really like like exorcism type movies and nothing can compare to it i've always said like i don't believe in demonic possession and exorcisms and stuff like that but weirdly it is the thing that scares me the most in horror movies like i say like the exorcism emily rose there's a brilliant example in that which

[00:35:41] the first time i watched that that properly freaked me out just because i thought it's something that would fucking happen to me when she's with her boyfriend and like they spend the night together and he wakes up in the middle of night and she's just on the floor all fucking contorted just staring at him i'd be like that's gonna happen to me someday i fucking know it no if you want some interesting exorcist stories um read hostage to the devil by father malachi martin

[00:36:10] he was an actual jesuit priest uh if you liked art bell coast to coast yeah go look up he's i think he was on there like five or six times back in the 90s just listen to him it's i think i think father father martin was from ireland and he was initially a jesuit priest i think he was in rome and he asked

[00:36:36] to be relinquished of just one of his like vows the vow of poverty so he can go and like actually make money off of his books yeah but hostage to the devil details like i think five or six actual cases that he dealt with in new york city your favorite city so relevant give it a shot

[00:36:59] um if you don't i mean if you don't have time to read audiobook is good as well yeah yeah i'll definitely have to look into that one yeah yeah i highly recommend it because you know like you uh like when it comes to exorcisms and stuff like that i always take it with a grain of salt because even the church is like i don't know exactly it's like uh have you gone to a doctor

[00:37:26] and the x the emily rose thing or the real her real name was Annalise Michelle yeah yeah caused that because she had actual documented psychiatric issues yeah so no i i get i get where you're coming from where it's like i don't know if it's real but if it is real keep it away from me type of thing so

[00:37:51] i think it's because whilst whilst i don't believe it there is there is little things that are just that you that well again again like like the things we like so much that you just you just can't explain but it's still it's still not enough for me to believe like i say like the true case there like i say with annalise michelle because i remember back in the day one i think it was in the within the first 10 episodes we did me and billy uh we did about that case and i'm sure

[00:38:15] there was a part where like she she went she went to a church and she could only get so far and like she just like physically couldn't move and i'm sure like she's just like felt felt to the floor sort of thing and what have you and i'm just like whilst i get like some things can be mentally health stuff but like why i don't understand where the whole if it is if it is just a mental health condition then like why does religion play such a part like you know how they react to religious

[00:38:44] objects and stuff like that it like i said i can't explain that but i still i still can't bring myself to be a full believer in it yeah i know what you mean um the only thing you can't really explain and i feel like we're getting away from your halloween themed episode but it's fine i mean literally more than half of this now has just been horror movies so fuck it yeah i could pull it back to some of like what i do now and stuff like that because i know you mentioned that

[00:39:12] um but with uh the annalise michelle stuff the interesting thing is that she's like there's recordings of her i think like speaking in latin i'm like she doesn't know latin yeah so like that's that shit that always freaks me out yeah but then but then there is there's cases isn't aware like i mean i mean like the kind of the kind of funny ones are where people will wake up and

[00:39:37] they'll speak in a different accent or where like people like that lady in the uk yeah yeah started speaking with a chinese accent yeah i know i'm not going to attempt to do it because it will be offensive but anyone if you haven't seen that just google it she still has it to this day yeah i know yeah it's terrible since that come out there's a few more that have come out as well i think there's um there's a again from

[00:40:05] the uk there's a woman who's from london and she now speaks with a full-blown geordie accent i'm sure that there's there's one there's one as well who speaks speaks fully like proper australian accent is it is weird but obviously there's there's always that thing as well like you know if you know you go poking around in your brain you start speaking french sort of thing so i mean i don't know maybe there is some up there where if something's i don't know yeah maybe we can all

[00:40:30] actually speak every single language we just don't know it probably that's like me going to sleep and waking up tomorrow with a scouse accent like i'll be a dream for you could you imagine that'd be so weird like i promise i'm not trying to be offensive i just it just happened yeah but to uh back to your halloween um questions because i don't want to like not answer them so

[00:41:00] after teen years get older go to university obviously go to halloween parties dressed up in whatever costume sometimes vampires police officers halloween mask you know whatever drink don't remember much of it um uh that continues with friends up until like maybe mid-20s or so

[00:41:22] and you know we would just like me my friends and my wife girlfriend at the time we'd all just hang out just have parties at a friend's place play beer pong just and that was halloween at that time but now um it's more so like i'd say maybe since probably 2017 or 2018 or so like we we got into more of the

[00:41:49] mold of giving out candy and just decorating and sitting outside and talking to people you know the neighbors and stuff like that so from then to now that's kind of what we do um on occasion uh we'll go to haunted houses with her sister um we used to do that quite a bit when she was i think like in high school and and and her university years we'd go to local haunted houses and if we tried we every year

[00:42:18] we try to get to one i mean just because work life you can't always do that but for halloween itself um we decorate and uh very much into the halloween spirit here so um we just do the basic stuff of giving out candy now we don't really dress up either yeah yeah it's just like i would like to but i don't

[00:42:44] want to spend the money because all the money's going to the candy yeah well i'm gonna get to soon because i mean my son he's well he's two he's two this month oh that's your free candy there man exactly exactly so but like when once he's i mean i mean we'll still take him out we'll take him around all the houses where where we live and stuff just to well so get get get him get me get the

[00:43:09] missus get a big bag of sweets for us all um but yeah like when he's a bit bigger and he's like he understands a bit more then i'm definitely getting dressed up with him yeah definitely that'd be cool but yeah man that's that's kind of what we do now oh you you'll appreciate this what i did a couple of years ago so burrow were playing exeter in the carabao cup on halloween oh yeah and i was

[00:43:39] like i'm not missing this and i can't be asked getting up and answering the door every five minutes so i just put a big big ball of sweets on the doorstep and left a note on the door saying i'm watching the football don't take too many or you're getting on next year yeah that's fair that's that's a fair way to do it there's there's some days sometimes where we're like oh we're not gonna do it this year and then we then day before we'll panic buy all the sweets because we don't want to be those

[00:44:07] one that that one house that doesn't do it that's what my dad does is i fuck it every uh every year he's he's always done it since like since we were no longer kids and like my mom and dad didn't take us out and stuff my dad will actively sit in a different room in the house setting all the lights off so he doesn't have to answer the door yeah yeah or some people put signs up like hey we don't

[00:44:31] celebrate halloween basically type of thing yeah and they're boring yeah yeah well well i don't know what that was well and chris may i think that's it man i think so man i enjoyed this conversation especially about the horror movies and stuff i gotta watch that uh that crap movie you keep talking about the pendulum which is the haunting of pendle hill

[00:45:00] the haunting of pendle hill okay yeah utter dog shit so if anybody if anybody wants to waste an hour and a half their life go and watch that i'm pretty sure it's on amazon prime so yeah if not you'll be able to find it somewhere yeah if if if i absolutely hate it i will um venmo request you 20 pounds for an
