[00:00:11] Right then guys, welcome back into The Spooky Shed Podcast, your go-to place for conversations around all things weird, scary and of course spooky. Today with me I have got Sara from Sara After Dark. So Sara, welcome into The Shed. How the hell are you? Thank you for having me. I am very well, thank you. How are you? Sweating. You are in a shed. Absolutely boiling. Yep, absolutely fucking boiling. No in between, I've said it a thousand times.
[00:00:38] I'm either sweating or shivering. There we go. But yeah, right. Anyway, pre-warned you yesterday so I always get my guests to leave something in the shed with me. So it can be anything you want, something you love, something you hate, a person, a place, feeling, a thing. The weirder the better preferably. What have you got for me? I'm gonna leave in the shed fitted bed sheets. Fair play. Fair play.
[00:01:05] You know why? You know why? Because they say they're fitted and they never fucking fit. That's my opinion. And you put them on and they pop back off. So I'm done with fitted bed sheets. You can have them in the shed. I don't want them back. You can keep them forever and do as you wish. Make a ghost out of them or something. Fair enough, fair enough. That's up there with one of the randomest things. I'll take it. I'll take it.
[00:01:29] Not the randomest and I probably shouldn't tell you the randomest one because I keep telling people and I should probably stop because it's very, very weird and I still don't understand why somebody said it. But you're gonna have to tell me you can't leave me like that. A butt plug. Exactly. Exactly. There's no answer to that, is there? No, there isn't. I'm not making a comment on it. That's for sure. I'm not doing anything. Oh, Jesus Christ. Right.
[00:01:58] So before we start properly then, Judas, if by somehow, by some miracle, there's somebody listening to this who doesn't know who you are, do you want to let my listeners know who you are, what you do and all that jazz? Okay. Hello, I am Sarah. So I run Sarah After Dark. Some people know me for the spooky side. I also have a different side to me, which I don't even know if you know about actually. So I'm originally known for Sarah's World. So that's my bigger platform. But I started to merge the spooky stuff and take it onto one platform, which became Sarah After Dark.
[00:02:27] So I do a lot of spooky content, paranormal investigations, I run around haunted buildings, laughing, joking and making an absolute idiot out of myself, basically, in a nutshell. Fair enough. Fair enough. No, I only knew you as Sarah After Dark. So yeah, many do. Many do. And I'm not, I'm not, I'm not bad about like, I'm not mad about it. Cause I, this is, you know, when I first started becoming a content creator, I started on, on the Sarah World platform.
[00:02:56] So I used to do a lot of conspiracy. I used to do a lot of deep dives into celebrities. Um, I covered all of the P Diddy trial. So I went over to New York while he was on trial. I was in the courtroom. I did all of that type of stuff.
[00:03:09] And I felt like for me, I got to a point where all I was, was a content creator and it felt very scripted and it felt very just generic. And I lost that sense of who I was as a person. So I decided to create the After Dark, which was the things that I am genuinely interested in. I do want to talk about and explore and, and then After Dark evolved. And that's what happened really.
[00:03:34] Fair enough. Fair enough. And I mean, the P Diddy stuff as well. I mean, it just, it sounds a bit depressing as well, to be honest. It does. It is. It's horrible, horrible stuff. And I think, you know what, when you start to actually realise how dark the music industry is, how dark Hollywood is and how everything around us is just bogus.
[00:03:53] You see things differently as well. You start to look at the world a little bit differently. I do. I can't. I think once you, once you open yourself up to that and wake up as people say, there's no going back. That's it. You're done. Yeah, definitely. Definitely. I mean, even like someone as small as doing stuff like this though, as well as a, there's, there's a weird side to doing stuff like this. I mean, yeah, people leaving butt plugs in your shed. And that says more about the guests that you have on.
[00:04:24] Well, yeah, exactly. But that's my point. I mean, I already know I'm, I already know I'm fucking weird and I'm fine with that. So. Yeah. Weird. It's the best place to be is weird. And it's the best, it's the best type of personality for me anyway. I think why be boring? Why be like everybody else? Exactly. So it's like, like we said the other day, like when I was younger and stuff, I used to want to be normal. I mean, whatever the hell normal is. But nowadays I just think that must be boring as shit.
[00:04:54] Yeah. Do you not think though, do you not think it takes a point in your life where you start to actually accept who you are as a person? I know this is quite deep. I didn't expect to be deep on this, but like you start to actually be like, do you know what? This is who I am. I'm not going to hide it anymore. I'm going to say these things. I'm going to act this way.
[00:05:09] And, you know, and I think, well, you know yourself when you're riddled with ADHD, there comes a point where you mask things a lot to try and suit the environment or other people. And then it comes a point where you just said, you know what? Fuck this. This is who I am. Don't like me. Off you pop. Oh yeah, definitely. Definitely. That's literally why I've got like two friends.
[00:05:32] Yeah. Same, same. That's fine. It's fine. But you've got loads of virtual friends, I imagine, online. So exactly that makes up for it. That makes up for it. I've got more friends that I've never met in person. Same, same, completely the same. Yeah. Best way to be. Don't have to deal with them then. Or I can choose when I want to deal with them. Yeah. Same here.
[00:05:55] Right. So we've sort of just said then, obviously, how you got started into this. Where did your interest into the paranormal and all the weird stuff in life, as I like to say, where did that all start for you? Was it like typically when you were a kid or was it a bit later on?
[00:06:12] Yeah. So when I, from a very, very young age, I used to see spirit as a child and I didn't use a see spirit. I used to literally connect with spirit and speak to spirit. And as much as I have very vague memories, I have memories as I got a bit older, but a lot of it's obviously come from, from mom, from dad or whatever. But I would see people quite regularly. Mom would take me to the markets, for example, and I would stop people and start saying, oh, by the way, your mom said this or your dad said that.
[00:06:41] And the dad had been, or the mom had been dead for many years. And the thing is, I came from, and I come from a very spooky family anyway. So they're all into spiritualism. They're all into tarot reading mediums, you know. So it was never ruled out as a child for me. It was just sort of embraced, oh, here she is, we've got another one.
[00:06:59] And that happened all the way to being about 14, 15. And then I started to see rather negative things. Everything took a really dark twist for me. And I think now as an adult looking at it, I think it's, through my research anyway, I think when it comes to females, especially in paranormal and spiritual things, when they go through hormonal changes, I genuinely believe that that's when the darker stuff tends to cling on to them.
[00:07:27] And I couldn't deal with it. And I couldn't deal with it. So I got taken to a very well-known medium back in them days. And I was completely shut down. I became fearful of it, frightened of it. And it wasn't until sort of my late 20s that I started to, the question marks began again. And I started to ask questions and I wanted to know more. And it took off from then, really. I started to get right back into it all.
[00:07:55] Very, very similar to me, actually. I've told this story a hundred times, but I used to sit in my bedroom and just talk to people who weren't there. What, as a child? Yeah, yeah. Full-blown conversations with people who weren't there. Yeah, yeah. And do you remember them? Do you remember them experiences firsthand?
[00:08:15] I have, like, very vague memories. Like, it's weird. So what I always say is, I say, I remember doing it, but I don't remember anything that was said, if that makes sense, or even who I was talking to. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Very, very strange. I think there's a similar pattern, isn't there, with the paranormal and people who are interested in this. And it usually does, nine times out of ten, it does originate from childhood of some sort.
[00:08:42] I mean, I think that there's been maybe two or three times I've asked that question and then it hasn't been, or it started when I was a kid. There's been one or two times, but not many. So I can say, it is usually, that is usually the case. Yeah, for sure. Yeah. So when you first started, like you said, obviously you were doing content creation anyway, and then obviously you went into the darker side of things.
[00:09:09] So did you, like, dive straight into investigations and stuff, or were you just, like, looking into things at first? So any investigations that I'd done, I'd never made content for. It was always just for me, for my own personal, and it was more, I just went on, I never hired anywhere out on my own or anything like that. It started off as I joined groups, or I found out people who were going on them. So I was like, I'm going to tag along.
[00:09:34] And my content really started more, as content, I guess. I was talking about spirits, I was talking about paranormal as a whole, haunted places, haunted buildings, touching into even the likes of reincarnation. I love anything to do with reincarnation and things like that. So that's how the page sort of evolved. And then I was like, right, Sarah, you've made this page to be more for you and real.
[00:10:01] So then I started going out and doing it, doing it myself, I guess, on camera. And it just, it took off. I mean, I've got so much support on TikTok especially. It's outstanding. And it forever moves me, actually. It does, but it spurs me on and keeps me going. And, you know, I always say that it always surprises me how many people are actually interested in paranormal and afterlife, even if they're scared of it or they're unsure of it, or maybe they're not 100% a believer.
[00:10:30] And I think sometimes them coming on an investigation with you virtually is enough for them to start asking more questions. And I always say, like, I'll always try and make sure that what I do is not frightening. I've got no intentions of creating a jump scare for anyone. It happens. Of course, it does naturally. And I'm a screamer. I am. But I always try and say, like, it doesn't have to be scary. It doesn't have to be like the horror movies.
[00:10:57] It doesn't have to be the nuns not going to come urging out of the wall at you, you know. And there is actually a really nice side to the afterlife. And I think it's not played on enough, actually. It's not people focus more on the, oh, there's a demon in here. Oh, there's this, there's that, you know. Very fabricated. I don't like that stuff. I don't like that stuff at all. Yeah, but I think that's purely because of, like, horror movies and stuff, I think.
[00:11:25] But it's like I always say, it's why I'm very unsure on if, like, demons are even a thing. Because I just say, like, when people are alive, you get people who are assholes, you get people who are fucking legends. And I'm going to surmise that when we're dead, you can be an asshole and a legend as well. Of course you can. Like, to me, that's what I sort of believe when it comes to, like, demons and stuff. I just think it's someone who was an asshole. No, I agree. I totally agree.
[00:11:53] And I think the only thing that's given that anyway is religion. So I think depending on what you follow in your religion depends on how you look at it. But I think it's just all metaphorically speaking. I don't, I completely agree with you. I don't necessarily believe in demons. I just think there's bad and there's good, as there's bad and good in this world. And we don't change when we go over to the other side. Whoever we are, we go over being exactly the same. Exactly. It's like Hitler's ghost isn't going to suddenly start doing that fucking charity work, is he? Fred West. Exactly.
[00:12:24] No, exactly. Yeah, see, that's a demon. Don't make the joke. Don't make the joke. I wouldn't like to cross Hitler's spirit. Let's just say that. Yes. I've got no interest in what anything he's got to say. Nothing. Even in spirit. Even if he can open me up and tell me all about the afterlife, I'm not interested. Not interested.
[00:12:50] Well, that sort of leads on to one of my final questions that I'll ask you later on. Oh, does it? Okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So it's a good one that I like to ask people. But like I say, we'll save that for later. So when you started, obviously investigating then, so where was the first place you investigated for you to get content?
[00:13:15] First place I ever investigated was a little community centre just outside of Durham. I can't remember the bloody name of it. That was the very first place I ever did. From there I went to a little bit of an upgrade and I went to Castle Keep. And that was an upgrade because I went from suddenly going to this community centre where I felt semi-safe because it was normalised to suddenly these old stones and bricks and went shit. But they were the early days for me. They were the early days.
[00:13:46] For sure. Fair enough. Fair enough. It's weird. Because you see it on YouTube and stuff, you see a lot of the places like community centres and stuff where people are doing paranormal investigations there. And I'm like, why is that place haunted? Well, yeah. I mean, saying that, have you been at Elmwood? Elmwood House? I haven't. No. That's a community centre. And I mean, it's the second time I've done it now. And there's definitely something. But again, like it's not, it was never built as a community centre.
[00:14:16] So I think sometimes it depends on what the place was. So that was like an old big manor house. So that has lots of energy attached to it. But now kids go in and dance. And I think how can you put your kid in dancing lessons in something that's riddled in spirits? Well, again, it depends what the spirits are, doesn't it? I mean. True. If it's the spirits of dancers, then they couldn't be in a better place. The spirit of Billy Elliot, maybe. Exactly. Couldn't be in a better place then, so.
[00:14:48] Oh, God. So, how do I word this then? Why does it sound bad when you say, how do I word this? I don't know. I don't know. It always does though. But this happens sometimes. My brain just dies on me. I'm trying to think of a way to phrase it where it makes sense. And I don't know if I can.
[00:15:17] Just say it however it comes to you. Even if it's offensive. It doesn't even really make sense to me. That's that. Well, it's not going to make sense to me then, is it? Exactly. Right. Right, fuck it. Forget about it. It'll come back to me probably. Right. So, because I've seen obviously you've got some of your investigations up on YouTube. Yeah.
[00:15:45] The one that intrigued me the most, and like I said to you the other day, I struggle to see it through them. So, I do skip through a lot of bits. Likewise. Yeah. Yeah. The RAF base that you went to. Yeah. Hmm. So. RAF Sturgate. Yeah. I'm back actually. I'm back on the 22nd of August. Nice. And I can't wait. Honestly, that place is next level stuff. Hmm. Where is that?
[00:16:15] It's in Lincolnshire. Ah, right. Fair do's. It's in a place called Gainsford. I think it's Gainsford. Right. Fair enough. So, you've got, so, so there it's, it's the old, so basically the RAF Sturgate is the old RAF base. Now that base was actually given over to the Americans. So, the Americans had it for a number of years. It was then re-given back to the English RAF. And they were made, there's some weird facts about the place because they were made to actually,
[00:16:44] so there was outbuildings near one of the hangars. They were made to knock them down before they handed them over, but wouldn't, wouldn't say what the use or the purpose was. Gotcha. There's two, it is dodgy. There's two hangars on there. The first hangar is, is so active, but it doesn't, doesn't feel bad, if you know what I mean. You don't feel a threat in the place, but the second hangar, there's just something so sinister in there. Yeah.
[00:17:12] The minute I walked in, you can feel the atmosphere change. You know yourself when you go into these haunted places or alleged, should we say, haunted places. And that second hangar, the stuff that we had happening there, I mean, something threw across the room, skimmed the side. We had a cat ball near the door. Wherever it was, hit the cat ball and skimmed right past us. And it was like, it always poses a question for me. And it says, a lot of people go, spirits can't hurt you. Oh, but they can.
[00:17:42] Yeah. But they, they really, I don't think people understand this because I always say, look, if you believe that a spirit can throw something, have the capability. What if that something happens to be something sharp or something really that's going to hit you in the head or, you know, and, and I feel like the RAF Sturgate, that was one of them moments for me where I literally went shit. Like some of us really just threw past us there and the noises we got from that place.
[00:18:09] And the thing was, it wasn't as if it was just randomly happening. The loudest bang, should we say that we got that night was, it was getting towards the end of the night. And I said, right, you know, you've done all this for us and I'm so grateful. And like, we love the communication. Can you do, can you just give us one last loud noise, something really, really loud. In fact, I said, shout at me.
[00:18:34] And just at that, this humongous, what sounded like someone banging on one of the airplanes, the point where I screamed and it takes a lot to make me jump, but when it does, it does. And, and I was like, you know, thank you. I asked, I asked for it. You give us it. Because I don't know about you, but I believe I genuinely, the more that I'm researching and documenting and things like that, I genuinely believe that when we hear knocks and bangs, I actually think it's spirit speaking. I don't think it is them.
[00:19:03] I don't think it's them necessarily knocking on things. I think it's them speaking. And I think the vibration of that frequency that they're at creates a knock, a bang, a tap. And I think it's a communication thing rather than, oh, because let me ask you something, right? So you're a spirit now, right? You've passed over. Rest in peace, Liam. Nice to know you. You've passed over, right? You're now in this house or whatever, wherever you shed, right? You're in your spooky shed.
[00:19:30] And I say, Liam, can you make a noise, please? Would the first thing you do is like tap on the what? Like, oh. Or would you speak? I get what you mean. I do get what you mean. But then I suppose it's also a case of, like you say, I mean, I know some people claim to have heard like disembodied voices and stuff. I haven't. Yeah. Not yet anyway. So I don't know.
[00:19:58] Maybe it is like a case of that's literally all they can do. So they've got no choice sort of thing. And like, I mean, like, obviously the brilliant line, knock once for yes, twice for no sort of thing. Yeah, maybe. Maybe. Like, maybe it is that. Or maybe it's a combination of the two. I don't know. Like, maybe. Like you say, maybe when it's stuff like that, when it's like really loud, maybe that is them.
[00:20:25] Maybe that is just like, I don't like a bit of buildup of energy from them trying to communicate. And maybe sometimes when you hear, you know, consistent taps, maybe that is them just knocking on something. I don't know. Yeah, maybe. Maybe. It's fascinating though, isn't it? And I think this is the thing is nobody knows. Exactly. And I love listening to other people's theories about it as well, because we all, especially when you've, you know, you've done a few places or you've been investigating for however many years, whatever it may be.
[00:20:54] You build up your own opinion based on your own research. And that doesn't mean that that research is wrong. It doesn't mean it's right. It just means that that's your opinion based on what you've encountered, your personal experiences, if you will. And I think this is a fine line here, because I think people get so carried away. And I'm not, obviously, I'm not going to get negative on the podcast, but I think people get so passionate about their own beliefs that they almost claim it to be facts.
[00:21:21] And it's like, you can't actually prove that spirits even exist. So we can't, we can't label things as fact or real theories. They are, they are just opinions. Yeah. Yeah. Completely 100% agree with you there. It's like, I always say it's, it's one of them things. Like nothing annoys me more than when someone claims to be a paranormal expert, because you can't be, you can't be an expert in something that isn't 100% fact.
[00:21:51] Like, and I fully respect anybody who, you know, like, let's use, pick like mediums. You know, they say, and like you say, I mean this, I don't mean this in an offensive way. They say that they can talk to people who aren't here. So, like I say, so to them, it is fact. But, like I said, but to me, it isn't. But they're, how the hell do I make this make sense? Like gravity, gravity. You know, everybody knows that that's a thing.
[00:22:21] Like you can't argue with that. Yeah. But I don't know for 100% fact that whoever, who was talking to somebody who's dead is talking to them. You know what I mean? Like, so you can't be a fucking expert in something that isn't. Seeing, seeing is believing at the end of the day. So if you've experienced that yourself, then you would go, well, you actually, yeah, I believe that because I saw it or I heard it or I experienced it.
[00:22:48] Or, but secondhand information doesn't mean that, you know. So I, don't worry, I totally get what you're saying. Like, you're totally right. You're totally, that's like, that's like me coming on the podcast now and saying, Liam, do you know that I'm an expert in fairies? Yeah. Well, I've, you know, we've never seen one, but I'm an expert in them. Yeah. You know, because what am I referring to? Well, I'm referring to old folklore or urban legends or, which is what essentially, potentially Chinese whispers that's happened through the years. And exactly.
[00:23:18] You know, but yeah, people get so passionate in such a bad way. And I just think everyone just needs to chill out a little bit and just remember that we're all interested in the same thing. And we all have our own opinion on it. Exactly. Exactly. And the one, the one thing we all have in common is that we're all going to find out one day eventually anyway. So. Yeah. In the end. Exactly. So that, that, that, that's the beauty of it.
[00:23:43] Because even for like, for people like skeptics and people who, people who don't believe, like it's weird because like, like those, those people who were like, like you said, like really. Like aggressively passionate about it. And like, like, like there's a part of me that hopes it isn't real. Just to piss them off. Yeah. But then like the people who are aggressively against it, I hope it is a thing. So I don't know what I want to happen. Something in the middle, preferably. Something in the middle. A hundred percent.
[00:24:13] I don't know what the hell that would be. Do you, do you think that, um, do you think that proof of the afterlife will ever be proven in our lifetime? You're supposed to be asking me the questions, but I'm curious because that's something I would ask people and I, and I want to know. It's a good question, but I mean, uh, the cop out answer is, I don't know, obviously, but I don't, I don't think so. Not, not in our lifetime. Yeah. Hmm.
[00:24:43] Cause well, certainly not in mine. I've probably only got about 20 years left. I'm lucky. But I don't know, I don't know. Maybe, maybe, maybe one day. I don't know. But I say definitely not in my lifetime. I'd be very, very, very surprised. Yeah. Because I don't, I don't, I don't understand. I don't know how, I can say again, to go, to go down the scientific route. I don't know how you could scientifically prove it. Yeah.
[00:25:11] Like you'd, you'd, you'd literally have to like, it'd have to be like full on ghostbusters. You'd have to like trap a ghost in something. Yeah. You would. Unless they, I mean, the technology that they've got, look at Elon Musk, right? He's sending people up to Mars. Yeah. But he's not, yes. Yeah. But why can't they invest that money that they've got just to play around with, right? Instead of trying to make cars fly, can't we invest it into this type of stuff about fact? Like I always say, like, if I had the sort of money that Elon Musk had, that's what I would be.
[00:25:41] I'd be trying to build, I'd be getting every parapsychologist, every scientist on board to try and develop something that would prove these types of things. Or at least would give us like a little bit more insight into what, how things work. Hmm. Fascinating me. Yeah. So it's, it's, it's a good point to be fair. Cause I mean, cause it's, it's like, it's like I always say, so with like, with all the
[00:26:08] equipment that we use, you know, for paranormal investigating and stuff, like none of it is, well, I suppose some, some of them are like made for, you know, finding ghosts, but they're all essentially something else first, if that makes sense. I mean, like you say like the spirit box is just a fucking radio, like dead bells, just fucking bell, you know, all that sort of stuff.
[00:26:31] So like, I am quite surprised that nobody's like attempted to make something like that. Yeah. I mean, I mean, I suppose you kind, I suppose they kind of have with the SLS, but obviously, I mean, that's just a fucking Xbox connect as well, isn't it? So. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I've seen some questionable things on an SLS, but also then you've generic stuff as well.
[00:26:59] And it's, you know, it's trying to, it's trying to understand and how one, how that piece of equipment works. What is it actually looking for? And is it actually, you know, it's like when you do them at places and it maps out a gravestone, for example, it's not saying that there's a spirit in front of a gravestone, it's mapping out the gravestone. But if you're getting something that's walking into frame on camera, you know, but then as
[00:27:26] anything, when it comes to equipment, it can be debunked as quick as anything or dismissed. I think it's not even about debunking. I think it's about dismissing sometimes because we blame technology. And I think technology, I think technology is probably the only way that we will ever really prove the paranormal if the right technology was there, but people would always doubt it because it's technology. technology. Yeah, exactly. It doesn't help with like AI as well, because even if now we, if me and you went out tomorrow,
[00:27:53] right, went to a really haunted location and we took a picture of Casper the friendly ghost stood there waving, shook our hand, introduced himself, right? No one would believe it. We would. Yeah. But no one else would because they'd say, well, it's AI. It's been, it's been edited. It's been photoshopped. It's been, so I think it's hard, isn't it? Because I don't think it doesn't matter whatever we do as paranormal investigators or seekers of the paranormal, should you say. You're never going to do enough to prove.
[00:28:22] You either believe what you don't believe. And that's, that's the end of it. I think. Yeah, exactly. Exactly. Yeah. I completely agree with you, to be honest. And I mean, like, well, obviously people's, people's opinion can change because I mean, well, mine did. I mean, again, little brief history of the podcast here and again. So like when, when we originally started this, when it was, when it was me and my old co-host Billy, like the only reason we started this because we used to do a football podcast and
[00:28:50] then after doing that one day, we had an hour long argument about if we believed in ghosts or not. And at the time I was like, don't be so fucking stupid. And then now here I am like nearly four years later and well, it's me that's here and he's fucked off. Billy. Well, you're doing well. You're doing well in this movie shit. That's all I'm about. Billy's always welcome back in here. I give him a load of shit, but he's all right.
[00:29:21] Yeah. Yeah. So speaking of like RAF bases and stuff then, have you ever been to Sutherland Air Museum? Yes. Yeah. Yeah. What do you think of that place then? Cause that, that, that's, that's one of the places I've been to. Uh, it's, it's definitely gone. I think, I feel like you can feel it. Soon as you come out of that, you come out of that main door, I feel like you can feel it in there. And, and, and I always say this to people and people like laugh at you, but I think until
[00:29:47] you start going on these investigations, you start getting a feel for it and understanding what atmosphere changes feel like or what heaviness or like an oppressive, but yeah, Sunderland Air Museum is definitely, it's definitely got something there. That's for sure. Yeah. Especially in that fucking tram shed, the one in the far corner. That's that one. Tram shed. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That one's awful. Yeah. Well, like it said, me, cause that, that was one of the things that was, that was, that
[00:30:14] place was actually one of the things that like, like really changed my opinion. And funny enough, it was the second time I went there that done that because the first time I went there, like, you know, we, we got quite a little, quite a fair bit of activity and stuff. And there was like a weird feeling straight away. And to start with, I was like, oh, it's just me. I'm on edge. Cause it's fucking like, that was the first proper one that I'd done. So I was like, you know, that's just me. But then the second time I went there, we've got barely anything. Like all the footage I took, it wasn't even worth making a video out of. So I didn't even bother. Really? Yeah.
[00:30:44] But it was just, but like straight away, like I could say, went out that door, went for a smoke and I was just like, I could tell straight away. I was like, there's not going to happen here tonight. This is, no pun intended. It is dead. Yeah. Like literally it was, it was bizarre. I mean, there was little bits, but like you say, not, not enough. It was, it was strange. It's very, very strange. Do you not think that's like a thing though?
[00:31:10] Like, isn't it interesting how you can go to a certain venue that everyone, you know, says, oh my God, this place is full of energy. You can go and it's so flat, but then you can go back the next time and all of a sudden you have a completely different experience. Yeah. Well, it's like, like you said, the best example of that is, 30 East Drive, isn't it? Never been. You've never been. I'm going to go on. Well, it's like, to me, it was, it was almost like the top of my bucket list just because
[00:31:37] all I ever saw people say about it was how, you know, it is the most haunted house ever and everything. And then all the other people were saying, absolute bollocks, nothing happens. Yeah. So I was just like, right, I need to go and make my own mind up. Yeah. And my mind was undecided. Was it? I still, I still don't know. It was weird. Some very weird stuff happened. Some stuff that I can't explain happened.
[00:32:03] But, and again, it could have been a case that I'd hyped it up in my head too much. Like... Maybe. Yeah. Because like when I walked in, I was just like, it could be anybody's house. You know what I mean? I was just like... Yeah. I was hoping for like the horror movie stuff. I was hoping for, you know, fucking crucifixes to be turned upside down, fucking doors slamming, chairs being chucked across the room and all that sort of stuff. But... It's just because of the stories just attached to the place, isn't it?
[00:32:32] And I think sometimes that's... But sometimes that's a bad thing because I think that sets... You've just proved it there. It sets an impression in your brain. You've got... You've already got expectations of what you expect to happen from a place. And essentially, if you just look at it, it's just a fucking council house. That's all it is. But it's like... I was having this conversation a couple of days ago. So I think places like that can change. Like the haunting can change.
[00:33:01] So obviously, famously, it's known for obviously Fred Blackmonk and all that weird shit. But then obviously now, people more talk about obviously the family that live there haunting the place. So it's going to be... Like you say, they weren't... Well, as far as we're aware, they weren't assholes. So they're not going to be throwing chairs and slamming doors and smashing windows and, you know, all that sort of stuff. Yeah.
[00:33:26] So you're not going to get that really strong activity that, like I say, again, we'll say apparently happened back whenever it was. I can never remember the fucking days. But yeah. So like I say, I think places like that, it can change over time. Yeah, it can. I think my opinion of East Drive is I believe something happened there.
[00:33:48] I believe there was something once upon a time and I believe some part of the story was real, but I do believe it was very much fabricated. And I think you're looking at a single mother with her kids who suddenly was getting attention from the press and gaining money from this. Would she not be tempted to fabricate a little bit? That was Enfield you're thinking of? Oh, is that Enfield? Hang on, hang on. I'm jumping on to East Drive.
[00:34:17] What's the story, East Drive? Well, like I say, East Drive, it was like, obviously there was the mum, the dad and the kids and everything. That was... It was the full family, wasn't it? Sorry, I'm jumping. Why have I just gone to Enfield? Because Enfield was bollocks and nothing happened. Yeah, well, I'm glad you said that. I'm glad you said that. I fully believe Enfield was utter shit. The only thing that I've got no answer for is, well, I suppose you could do because apparently, again, we're sort of jumping here, but you know, ADHD.
[00:34:48] The only thing with the Enfield one that is a bit iffy is when she was doing, when the daughter was doing the weird voicing with a mouthful of water, but she could only do that when nobody was looking at her. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm going to say it again. It's all... And like you said, and they even admitted years later that they did stuff. Yeah, of course they did. Exactly. She got shipped off though. She got like fully shipped off. She never returned back to that family. I don't think.
[00:35:16] I think she went to go and live with her auntie after she was being sectioned and all sorts. Yeah, yeah. Very, very, very, very strange. But in a similar sense, I still feel the same way about East Drive. Apologies for the confusion there. I think... I think... I always believe this, right? Okay. When it comes to hauntings and stories, whether it be East Drive, Enfield, whatever it may be, the ancient ramen, I think the story is being put there for a reason. So whatever happened, I think did happen.
[00:35:46] Whether it be 100% to what they're claiming it is, I think it's come from somewhere. There has to be fact in the story. But I think over the years and things, has it been pushed to something more? And I think it was... Did you ever see the caretakers video of East Drive? The woman that went in and took that video on YouTube? I don't think so. I'm going to send you the link after this because I think for me, that was what made me go, I've got no interest to go on. She went in, she looks after the buildings.
[00:36:16] She went in and she was taking a video and there was loads, all this stuff suddenly happening all around her. But it's all very questionable sort of, oh look, the door closed right on cue as she turned the camera. And it just, it felt, it felt very staged, if you know what I mean. And I thought, if the place is genuinely haunted, why are we staging these videos for promotional, you know? Yeah. Yeah. I know what you mean.
[00:36:44] I mean, I'd still say though, I'd still recommend any investigator that hasn't been there, I'd still recommend to go just so people could, just so you can make your own mind upon it. Because like I said, that was the main reason I wanted to go was because it's just got so many like mixed reviews on it. And then obviously the most haunted fucking shambles. Right. I just, I don't know. I just think, I just think, I just think it's a place where people need to go and make their
[00:37:13] own mind upon it. Yeah, for sure. For sure. I can say, definitely some weird stuff happened there. I can say, I think years ago, even weirder stuff definitely happened. But how much of it is credible, I don't know. But yeah. True that. True. Yeah. So, one thing I wanted to talk about, because I've seen it on your TikTok and it's a place
[00:37:38] that I would fucking love to go and spend a couple of hours in, in the fucking dark and see what happens. I've seen you, a video of you sticking your head in the old mortuary in Saltburn. Then. Have you been, have you? Yeah. Yeah. Um, yes. So, um, I could be actually getting inside of that place cause I've, I know, I know who owns it now.
[00:38:02] So I'm trying to, um, pull a few strings, let's just say, because the P, so the person who owns that place now is actually, was actually trying to convert it into an Airbnb, believe it or not. And it's just not, yeah, it's, it's just not, it's not physically possible. But we, so we went on the daytime. What we did is went on the daytime to get some content. And then about a week or two later, I went back and done a live stream. Then we'd done a paranormal investigation all around Saltburn. We went up on the cliffs.
[00:38:29] We come down to the mortuary and there is so much energy inside of that mortuary. It is insane. And I, yes, I was still poking my head through, but you know, it's, it's, you know, when we said earlier about oppressive, that oppressive feeling, that's what you get in there. You just get this really horrible, give me a headache, give me a headache straight away. Just, just from being that close to the inside of it, so to speak. Yeah. Yeah.
[00:38:58] Well, I was going to say, if you manage to, if you manage to be able to go there, please can I come? Please can I come? Okay. I'll think, I'll think about it. I'll think about it. Cause you said, please, I'll definitely think about it. It's literally 10 minutes down the road from me. Yeah. I will. I will. I'll let you know. I'll let you know. I am trying to pull some strings. I just think it would be good. Even just a few hours on a night time, just to sit in there. Yeah. That's literally all I've wanted to do.
[00:39:26] Like even, even when I wasn't like, even when I was in my, my skeptical phase, we'll call it. Yeah. Even then I, even then I wanted to go in there just be, just because like there's so much, there'll be so much fucking history and stuff in there. It's weird. Like we probably should actually explain what the hell this is. So. Yeah. Yeah. Cause you're going blind. Probably should have started with that. So it's literally 10 minutes down the road from me, Saltburn in the north east of England.
[00:39:55] So on very literally on the seafront, like it's literally that road, then sand. So literally an old mortuary from when like obviously ships used to wreck and everything. And obviously the pub that's next to the ship, when the mortuary was full, they used to get piled in there as well. So I would like to go in there as well, to be fair. I bet there's some weird stuff in there. Only problem for me in there is doors are very small. I've never actually been in. I only went on the outside. I didn't go in.
[00:40:25] Oh, the fucking doors are ridiculous. I have to duck under every doorway in there. It's awful. So if I'm in there in the dark, I'm going to knock myself out. Yeah. So they used to store the bodies down in the cellar in the shipping. But the actual mortuary itself. So any sailors essentially who were lost at sea would be brought there. But what happened was they closed the mortuary and then they kept it. They closed it for what they actually wanted it for.
[00:40:54] But then it became a storage place for bodies. Because obviously one thing about saltburn is you've got saltburn cliffs and they're very well known for people accidentally falling off the cliffs or unfortunately taking their own life off the cliffs. And what they would do is if it happened through the night, they would actually store that body in the mortuary right up until not even that long ago, you know, until they could get it to a hospital or wherever. And the coast guard used to assist it in there.
[00:41:22] So the place is so linked with really sort of upsetting, horrible deaths really, isn't it? Oh yeah, definitely. Definitely. And in a really morbid and maybe even a bit twisted way, I think that's why I'd want to go in there so much. Because I just think, like I say, when it's such a tragic thing like that, to me, I just,
[00:41:50] I don't know if this is a thing, but to me, the energy is going to be a lot stronger. I don't know if you agree, disagree on that. 100%. 100%. I think it's that residual part. And I think whenever there's something traumatic that happens in a building, and I think this is the thing with castles. I think the reason that castles are so haunted is because they come with such a dark history and all of that murder or people, you know, executed and things like this. And I think that creates all of this energy.
[00:42:20] So I think like a mortuary like that, 100%. You know where we got quite a lot of hits from as well? You know, the shipyard right directly in front, that little shipyard on the beach front. We, um, we done, it was, we waited till obviously dark. We went into the shipyard and we'd done like a little paranormal investigation there. We'd done a few call outs and then we'd done an Esther's in there as well. And we picked up so much in that little shipyard. It was unbelievable. Yeah.
[00:42:47] And I don't know if that's linked, linked to it or whether that was linked to the boat or whether that was, you know, no idea. Or a bit of both. Could be, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Well, I used to work in the ship in Mask and when, when we finished this, I'll, I'll, I'll tell you a story. I've never, I've never told it on here and I've never told it on anybody else's because it's not really my story to tell. So I don't like, I don't want to, I don't want, I don't want, I don't want to share, share it to the world. Yeah. But it's, it's fucking weird. Yeah.
[00:43:18] Um, but yeah, if I can say that, that's just always been a place that I've wanted to go and, and the fact that like, obviously not everything, but like, you know, it's still like, obviously the, the slab table, whatever you want to call it, everything's still in there. All the cupboards and everything are still in there. I mean, obviously, obviously there's enough, well, I'm surmising there's nothing in the cupboards. I mean, there probably isn't now, but still just like the fact that, the fact that stuff like that is still there, like, you know, there's going to be, there's going to be stuff just attached to that. 100%. Yeah. And even, even the light fish, they've got like a light that dips down, which obviously
[00:43:47] would have been like a beam on the body. Everything's a bit broken and a bit like worse for wear, but it's still very much intact. And I think it makes, it's just, that creates an atmosphere as well though, doesn't it? Yeah. So this, bit of a weird question and don't know myself if I do it purely out of respect, but would you, would you, would you lay on it on the slab the table thing? I would, I would, yeah. Hmm. I would. Yeah.
[00:44:17] I think it's controversial, isn't it? Yeah. That's what I mean. But I think, I think I couldn't go in there and not do it. Yeah. I know what you mean. I'd be like to really, really take in that moment and really, I think I'd have to do it completely lights out and just lay there in silence and just, just see how that would feel. Yeah. Because I've heard stories. A friend of mine went to a mortuary out in, I think it was in Canada. And she said everything's like set up the way it was.
[00:44:45] And she went into one of the old mortuary slabs and she was obviously laid there. And she said she felt what felt like a body on top of her. Yeah. And ironically enough, them mortuary slabs were like double ones. So they used to actually stockpile the body. So that would be a, so yeah, I think curiosity would kill the cat and I would lay down. Yeah. Yeah. That, that, that, that, that is, that's really, really weird that you've said that because
[00:45:11] when I was thinking about doing it then I was just, all I could, like, again, I don't know if this is, I don't know if this will make sense, but I was thinking to myself then, like if I'd done that and I was laid there, I, I think that, I think that I'd feel like something was like pressing on me. I just instantly thought if I'd done that, I know I'm going to get a headache. Yeah, you would, I think you would get a headache. I think you would. And cause you're on a hard slab and that's not going to be very comfortable. No, yeah.
[00:45:40] I mean, it's supposed to be better for your back though, isn't it? Something like that. Yeah, it is. It is. It is. It is. I mean, I, I mean, I, I completely disagree with that because I slept on my son's bedroom floor last night and my back is in pieces today. So that's obviously bullshit. Yeah, no. It's like people in prison, don't they? They say that once they've slept on like a really hard mattress, they can't come out and sleep on a normal bed anymore. Not that I've been in prison or no, but just, just FYI. Not yet anyway. Not yet. Sometimes. Yeah.
[00:46:12] Oh Jesus. So of all the investigations that you've done then, where has, where's been your favorites and most active? That's, I mean, that's probably, I'd imagine it'll probably be the same answer. It has to be RAF Sturgate for me. Has to be. Yeah. I feel like that place, you know, and people, I know loads of people who've been there since and some people have had similar things happen. Other people have had nothing.
[00:46:39] So again, it goes to the thing that we were talking about earlier where you can go one day and go, and I'm going back on the 22nd and I don't, I don't know what to expect, but I'm excited for it. I know, I think I know what the place has to offer and I know what the place is capable of. It's just trying to, and I also think it depends on who you go with as well, because I, there's only ever two of us that do whole buildings and we keep it very small because I don't, I think it shifts the mood. It shifts the energy and stuff like that.
[00:47:08] And I'm quite sort of, you know, I'm not everyone's cup of tea. I'm a bit loud and boisterous and jokey and stuff like that. And, but I genuinely believe that that raises the energy and I think it helps with this type of stuff. Yeah. And also I couldn't think of nothing worse than sitting in a room for five hours going, is there anybody there? That just puts me to sleep. But yeah, Sturgate, Sturgate is number one for me at the minute, at the minute anyway. Fair enough. Fair enough. Yeah. I know, I know what you mean.
[00:47:35] It's like, again, like I was saying, yeah, I always, it's like with bloody spirit boxes, like anything that gets said, like I just, I don't know if it's a skill or talent or a curse or what, but I always seem to be able to, I don't know, find a joke somewhere with something that gets said. But that's good though, because I'm sorry, like you were saying earlier, we all going to end up spirits, whether we're good or whether we're bad, but also 90, well, depending on
[00:48:03] where you're from, majority of us have a good sense of humor. And I always say that when it comes to spirit, because just because you're dead, does that mean you're suddenly barring a miserable or need to be spoken to like a child or like a, like an elderly deaf person? No, it doesn't. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. I think my favorite one I managed to come out with was actually at East Drive when we had the spirit box side. And obviously, if anyone again who doesn't know, it's basically just goes mental through
[00:48:29] radio frequencies and picked up a bit of a Spandau ballet. True. True. You like, you heard the beginning of that. And my first incident was, was I just shouted, fucking hell, Tony Adley's dead. I mean, whether that helped or made things worse or what, I don't know, but. I reckon it helped. I reckon it definitely helped. I reckon the spirits had a good laugh at you. Or with you maybe. I mean, I did Google afterwards and obviously he's not dead. So yeah. I don't know if he did though, that'd have been weird as fuck.
[00:48:58] You would have been the first person to announce it. Yeah, I know. That'd be like breaking news. Yeah. I was going to say that'd have been cool then, but it wouldn't. No, it wouldn't. It wouldn't. I know what you're saying though. For sure. Oh, Jesus Christ. Right then. So some of my last final questions that I like to ask people then. So when it comes to investigations, what's your favourite bit of equipment to use?
[00:49:29] Why is that such a hard question? Look, I'm very much like this. I like simple things. So you tend to see me with things like balloons. I'm not talking helium balloons. I'm talking I'll blow a balloon up. You'll see me with a candle. Yes, I've got all of the equipment. Yes, I've got spirit boxes and technology and I do use them.
[00:49:48] But for me personally, if I can get some response or anything on a standard balloon or on a candle being blown out or, you know, that's for me. Because I think it's not technology. It can't be manipulated as long as we can eliminate the fact that there's no wind or draft. It can't be, you know, it's harder to create a logical explanation if you get something through on equipment. Has it malfunctioned?
[00:50:18] Could have. Is it due new batteries? It might be, you know, and I feel like as much as you can get some incredible responses through equipment and if you utilise it properly, for me, it's the more simple things. I like trigger objects, you know, I like basic things. Yeah. Now, I agree with you as well. Just like you say, I mean, and it's why I'm not a big fan of the apps and stuff that you can get.
[00:50:45] Like, I'll use them, like, you know, I'll humour them, we'll say. Yeah. But, like, because I always say, like, we all know our phones are fucking listening to us. Like, obviously, it's no fucking coincidence that you're talking about something and then you scroll through Facebook and you say seven adverts for it. Yeah. So, to me, like, why can't those apps be programmed to listen to what we're saying and give the answers that we want, if you know what I mean? Like, to me, that could be very easily done.
[00:51:15] Yeah, possibly. Very possible. I'm a bit like that. I do. I'll use Spirit Talker and I do it because, for me, I use it as a conversation starter and I know people like it and it's always on in the background. And you know what? We have had some really weird shit come through that's been so random but so to do with what we do. And just on that note, I only ever use Spirit Talker on a secondary phone that has no SIM card in. It's on aeroplane mode and it's turned off until it happens.
[00:51:45] So, you know, I feel like I'm just, I'll have it on but am I relying on it? No. It's just, it's just there in the background. That's a point now because I know a few investigators who do that now. So, this is something I never thought I'd say but there's a little tip for any drug dealers out there. If you get caught, because obviously drug dealers are known for having more than one phone, just say you're looking for ghosts. True that. True that. It's a good tip, actually.
[00:52:15] A bit of life advice. If you can take anything from this podcast, it's how to get yourself not being arrested. Exactly. Oh, Jesus Christ. But yeah, I'm the same. Like, I always, I always like things like cat balls and stuff. Just the daft, the daft little things just. Yeah. I don't know. They just seem to, they're just, I get more out of them. Yeah, I agree. Totally agree. And half the time my brain can't keep up with spirit boxes and stuff anyway.
[00:52:44] That's why I'm shitty doing the Estes method. Yeah, they are hard. And the Estes is hard, really hard. It can be anywhere. Mm-hmm. But yeah, the most simplest things ever, you get responses on them, then you can't, you know. We try all sorts of weird stuff and just simple stuff, you know. I've got a chalkboard with chalk on it. I try stuff like that because, you know, if that was, if something was to happen on there, you know, we, how are you going to argue with that? It's not, it's not mechanical. Yeah, exactly.
[00:53:13] You know, sometimes I'll sprinkle salt, talc down. Yeah. Because if something stands in it or walks in it, you know, how do you explain? It's, it's like little things, isn't it? It's just so simple things. But if you get a response on it, they're the biggest responses ever. Oh yeah, definitely. Definitely. Definitely. Um, that, that, that was something I forgot that I wanted to talk to you about as well. So your, your loft where you often go live on TikTok from. Yes. Can I clarify something? Okay.
[00:53:42] So everyone knows me as the loft girl, right? Just to clarify something. My loft isn't haunted. Okay. But I believe that the spirits in the house. The only reason I do it in the loft is because not because I've pushed all the spirits to the top of the house. I haven't. No. Um, that would be fab. It's, it's more because I don't feel comfortable walking around the house with the camera when I've got personal photos on the walls and people say, Oh, why don't you do a full cause this is my home and I live here.
[00:54:10] I'm happy to bring you in, but like my office right now, I'm happy to record here because it's built for this reason. Yeah. And obviously the loft comes with a spooky aesthetic, should we say. Exactly. Yeah. We, so, um, I can give you a breakdown actually. So back, I moved in here last October, November, the end of November was my birthday and I had a full weekend.
[00:54:36] So what I did is I went to Whitby on the Friday night, stayed at the Royal Whitby, did the whole of Whitby. Saturday, I drove over to Leeds and I did the priest cottage, done a full night paranormal investigation there. Sunday, I came home. And about a week or two after that weekend, stuff in this house started happening. So I started to convince myself that I'd, I'd, I'd had an attachment, had something followed me home. Have I not protected myself properly? Have I, and I started, that's where it all started.
[00:55:03] And sort of like early Christmas, things began happening, glass smashed in the kitchen. Um, the same pile of presents wouldn't stay up. It kept coming over, knocks, bangs. And then what brought the loft into play was one night I was laid in bed. It was about 20 past one in the morning. And I woke up honestly thinking that I was being broke into, but I sharp realized that the noises were coming from above, not below.
[00:55:30] So I got my camera start recording as you do, because that's just the way of life now. Not ring the police, grab the camera, start recording. Content, content. And it, and it sounded, I'll send you the video link actually, cause I put it up. It sounded like physical walking all across me from above. And to the point where I was convinced then that there was someone living in the loft. It, you know, it's a semi-detached, is, is, is, is it conjoined to next door? Were they in the loft? Was it, you know?
[00:55:58] And so I started investigating up there, made sure there was no animals. Is the, can we eliminate animals? Yeah, there's no animals. Can we eliminate, um, can anyone else get in the loft? Nope, the can so we can eliminate that. And it started from there. And then someone said to me, Sarah, why don't, you know, you've got all your equipment. Why don't you start like, and it, and it just sort of evolved. It just, it turned into a, a thing. And it's now something that we do in here every single bloody Sunday. And I love it actually.
[00:56:25] I love it because we've learned, we've actually managed to back up a lot of the responses and things that we've got. And matched one of the spirits up with a real person. So we've researched him. We know who he is. We know where he lived. He didn't live here, but he has connections to here. We, you know, and it's, it's quite a journey actually, but I've, it's something that I've really, I know the people have, you know, and we've really got into it as like a group online and it's, I love it. I do. I love it. Yeah. Yeah.
[00:56:52] I mean, again, like I say, we've, we, we've spoken, we've spoken before and out, you know, attention spans and stuff, but, and I don't, this was, this will sound bad, but you'll know what I mean. I managed, I managed to sit through all of you live last night. I know, I know saying that sounds horrible, but yeah. Now that deserves a round of applause. That does. Just for someone with my attention span anyway. I'm very impressed. Very impressed. That's probably, that's why I ended up sleeping on my son's floor.
[00:57:20] Cause after that, my brain was just fucked. They knew where I was going, just wandered in there and fell asleep. But like I said, there was definitely some, there's definitely some weird stuff going on in there. And like you say, you were getting, like you say, good, intelligent responses at times as well. Yeah. You know what though? Some days we get nothing. And that's the thing. And I always say, people don't come here expecting, you know, last Sunday. I was glad we got something this week because last Sunday we, it was so flat. It was.
[00:57:50] And you can't force them. They're not, they're not, you know, show ponies or. Exactly. Show monkeys or whatever you call it. But yeah, we, we can, we can. And I honestly believe it's, it's to do with building up that relationship and that trust with spirit. And because I do it so much in the same place, in the same spot, at the same time, I keep everything completely the same. And I do that on a research basis as well, because I do genuinely believe that.
[00:58:15] Does it, it's relevant when you do, when you create a pattern with spirit, they create one back with you. It's like repetition. Yeah, definitely. Definitely. Um, you've gone. Yeah. I was going to say something then. Yeah. Brain's gone again. What time are we on? Oh shit. I have to go pick him up from nursery next. Right then. Anyway. So. Yeah. Right then. So one of me. Yeah.
[00:58:46] Yeah. Okay. One's morbid as shit. Lovely. I'm all for the morbid ones. Which do you want me to start with? The morbid one or the one that I think I definitely know the answer to? Let's start with the morbid one and we'll end on the other one. All right. Well, with the morbid one, I fully believe there's a right and wrong answer to this. Okay. So would you rather know when you're going to die or how are you going to die?
[00:59:16] To me, it's the easiest question in the world. I genuinely think it's the easiest question. I think when. I think when. I don't think I would want to know how because then I feel like I'd be avoiding whatever that is for the rest of my life. Exactly. For sure. Exactly. Because if you pick how and it's a car crash, that could happen tomorrow or it could happen when you're 90. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. Yeah. Definitely when. I wouldn't want to know either though. I wouldn't want to know either. Oh no, I wouldn't really.
[00:59:43] But like I said, in this world, you have to pick one. True. When you're in the ship, you have to pick one. Do you remember death clocks back in the day? It always makes me think of that when you used to look to see when you were going to die online. Yeah, I know. I think I've surpassed myself by actually. So. Right. So my final question is then. So this is one I always like to ask people this and I'm pretty sure I know what your answer is going to be anyway. Because like I said, we sort of touched on it earlier.
[01:00:11] So if you could have the paranormal be as fact as gravity, like we said earlier, would you want it to be? What do you mean? What do you mean by that question? So would you want the paranormal to be fact for everybody? Like you said, you can't argue with it. It's like you say, it's just a thing. Like you say, it's like gravity. Everybody knows it's there. Everybody knows this exists. It's just the thing. A hundred percent. Yeah, a hundred percent. I would. A hundred percent. I think it would clear up a lot of problems. I wouldn't.
[01:00:41] And I think, would you not? Because we wouldn't have just had this conversation. There'd be more need to. Yeah, but would we not be having more in-depth conversations? Because now we've proved it, we can actually find ways of looking into things even further. So actually we're getting answers to things that we never, ever thought we could possibly ever get. It's not surface level anymore. It's deep. True, but you could only do that for so long. Then there'd be no need. So I get what you mean.
[01:01:09] And like you said, nobody's answered like that before. So I like that. But for me, I just think no, because it would ruin the fun side of it. It's like you say, I put out a TikTok the other day asking if people think paranormal investigating is boring. And obviously, to a certain degree it kind of is because a lot of it can be just, like you say, sitting around waiting for something to happen. But to me, that's what makes it not boring is because, like you say, you don't know what's going to happen. Like you say, very unlikely, but you never know.
[01:01:38] A chair might fly across the room. You can't say if it's going to or if it's not going to. Yeah, true. 100%. Oh yeah. But yeah, that's a good answer. I like that one. Like I say, disagree with you, but I like the answer. Disagree with you, but I'll take that. I'll take that. I'll take that. Oh God. Right then, Sarah. So before we finish, again, if somehow someone's listening to this and doesn't know who the hell you are, do you want to let my listeners know where they can find you on everything? Yes.
[01:02:07] So pretty much you'll find me under Sarah After Dark. That is Sarah without a H or it would be Sarah H and it isn't. And it's not Sarah either. So don't say my name's bloody Sarah because I hate that. Sarah, Zara, you know, I've had it all. Yes. Sarah After Dark on every platform. So that's on Facebook, TikTok mainly and YouTube as well. Happy days. That's it, I think. Happy days. Well, thank you for coming on the podcast.
[01:02:37] It's been an absolute pleasure speaking to you. Yeah. No problem at all. Pleasure's all mine. Happy days. Happy days. Right then, guys, we shall leave it there for this one. So as always, go and follow the Instagram page at the Spooky Shed Podcast. Link in the bio there for the Facebook and the TikTok that I've actually started using now.
