[00:00:14] Hello and welcome to Fandomentals, the podcast that explores pop culture, one conversation at a time. I am your host, Harley. Every episode, I interview different people from around the world to discuss a variety of topics within the world of pop culture. Thanks for joining
[00:00:30] me on this journey and I hope you enjoy the episode. Hello and welcome to another episode of the Fandomentals podcast and this is my very first episode from the 2000 Trees Festival. Last weekend, I got to attend 2000 Trees and
[00:00:54] conduct my very first series of in-person interviews. This is one of five episodes that I'm going to be putting out over the next two weeks featuring my interviews with bands performing at the 2000 Trees Festival. This has to be one of my favorite series that I've ever done
[00:01:10] for the podcast. This festival is absolutely brilliant. I had such a great time connecting with so many amazing people both on and off the stage. It really was a fantastic weekend and I cannot wait to share all of the episodes with you very, very soon. So up first,
[00:01:27] I'm joined by four incredible bands who are kind enough to give me their time at the festival. In this episode, I'm joined by Blank Atlas, Overpower, Negative Frame, and Tigress. Each episode was absolutely fantastic. I really enjoyed talking to these guys and what I try
[00:01:43] to do as part of my on the stage episodes, the aim of which is to explore what it is that bands love about playing festivals. I got some really fascinating insights from
[00:01:53] every band and as I said, I cannot wait to share all of them with you very soon. Make sure you stick around at the end of the episode so you can hear more about the upcoming
[00:02:02] episodes as well as some information on how you can enter some prize giveaways that I have going on for the next two weeks of these specials. So stick around for that. Right, that's enough from me. Let's get on with the episode. This is on the stage at 2000 trees
[00:02:21] with Blank Atlas, Overpower, Negative Frame, and Tigress. Hello, Dan and Tom and welcome to the fundamentals of our cast. Hello. Thank you so much for joining me guys. Really do appreciate it. I want to start with your first experience at a festival. What was
[00:02:48] the first festival that you went to? We put it together. The first festival on our own would be in Downed Festival. Oh yeah, yeah. In 2013 we went. The first time we went,
[00:02:59] it was kind of, it was mad because we were like 15 and we went just us three, the band went. You would think that we would get on a drink load, drink loads, under a drinking,
[00:03:11] we literally lived off like marshmallow fluff and bagels. That's what we had. That is a people die. I'd feel as you up, you know, go get a bit of sweetness. You could eat it without
[00:03:22] the marshmallow fluff. You can much for fun on its own. Yeah, rest time. I don't know why it was bagels and just marshmallow fluff. It's been a weird combo. It was Iron Maiden,
[00:03:33] Rumsstein, and Slip Not, I think it was. That is, sorry, so I guess I'm slipping off Rumsstein and Iron Maiden. Damn. Yeah, that's good on it. Yeah, that's good. It's really good.
[00:03:45] But then we were all really into Iron Maiden and stuff like that. Yeah, back then we were like we were a bit of a classic classic rock sort of bands so it was not a lot different now.
[00:03:56] Yeah, it's been an evolution visual. Yeah, awesome. It is amazing. Yeah, I'm so you love that. So I want to know then moving into the world of being a band and playing at festivals. What
[00:04:06] was the first festival do you guys got invited to play out as a band? This will be fair. Is this one? Yeah, this is the first official. We've got like all little daers inside festivals.
[00:04:18] I would call this a proper festival outdoor festival. Outside many stages, many days. This is a proper festival. This is the first time. I know you went very well. And it's really nice because we've been going to the festival for years and years. Like yeah some of us
[00:04:32] me going since 2016 so. Right. Yeah, so it's really nice to play finally. It's like a dream. Yeah, really. Yeah, amazing. This is the our festival to play. It's definitely a bucket list for
[00:04:42] us here, definitely. I was going to say that's awesome man. I'm sorry, love that few guys and thank you. Yeah, that leads into my next question and there's something I wanted to explore with the bands here
[00:04:51] is what the appeal is of playing at a festival. Right. Because I think most people listen to my like okay, I understand playing a local gig or going on a tour. How are you even going on a
[00:05:00] support act right with a dream band? So all of that people can get. We're going to a festival. A lot of work. We quite are Jewish to get there. There's loads of other acts also competition maybe in
[00:05:11] their quote. So I'll understand from the bands perspective what the appeal is going to a festival playing two pairs and trees. Playing a festival? The play of the festival is like as I see it
[00:05:22] as because bands like us you go you tour all the time you're playing these school places. Maybe in our case it's like you'd be lucky to get 20, 30 people there. So then all those people
[00:05:34] come into one place. It's pretty cool. Yeah, because I feel like the generic like trees go are a lot of them would have like our band so like I feel like yeah everyone's coming to one place.
[00:05:46] It was we played the set today and it was definitely the biggest crowd we've ever played for. Nice. Yeah, yeah. So yeah it was nice to see somebody familiar faces as well. Yeah, yeah, imagine there's the chance in some of the new people and get your music. Yeah,
[00:06:01] yeah, yeah. And to play to like loads of new people as well. I'm sure I could bunch people in that tent. I'd know idea who we were. So it was really good. Yeah, it was great.
[00:06:11] Yeah, I've only got I've only got the two mics in there. Be it. Oh, right. We've got an extra guest. This is brilliant. Hello. What's your name? My name's Chris. Hello. It's lovely to meet you, Chris.
[00:06:20] So yeah, I've been asking these guys. I'll jump back a little bit. So I was asking these guys first of all what was the first festival you went to? Download. Fast tool.
[00:06:29] I don't know. So you were the same one. We all had the same one. Yeah, it sounded like an insane line. It was insane. I couldn't really believe that it was possible to see that many bands
[00:06:38] that were like famous rock bands all in one weekend. And yeah, we had to pay some money and go and camp. It was just yeah. It was kind of surreal experience. Because I don't need to have a couple of normal
[00:06:48] gigs before that. Yeah. And then it was just straight into down. But it was wicked. It is a bit of baptism of fire, isn't it? Yeah. My first one was down there as well. Yeah, exactly the same way.
[00:06:58] But luckily it was very wet. Usually, Dan and his husband horrible, especially this year was very rainy. But we went, it was all I. It was a bit muddy but it wasn't like raining too much.
[00:07:08] No. It wasn't drowned alone, that's a short. Oh, yeah. I think was it 2016? I wouldn't have yet. That was, yeah. That was just horrendous. It was swimming for the whole weekend. Savage. Yeah. So I was asking these guys as well. Like you're talking about the
[00:07:22] first festival we've played, which is today. I've learned, which is awesome. So it's exploring the idea of what the appeal is. Then when you get an email, you're not opportunity to play a festival
[00:07:31] like why do you guys want to do it as a band? I think for this festival specifically, I think we're a very kind of cheesy band, despite not having played before. This is
[00:07:45] we've been going for years. So this is kind of where we get our inspiration for our music from. And all the people that like our stuff, I think like everybody's similar to music. We
[00:07:53] can't be with a big group of friends that like the same stuff. So I think getting up and playing this festival is kind of like, everyone that likes us is probably going to be anywhere.
[00:08:03] So it's a way to get everyone that's heard of us in one tent together. Just really cool. We've never been able to kind of see everyone in one place. Yeah. Yeah. Nice. Any other
[00:08:13] things? Yeah. I'll put you in a seat and meet you people right and reach a new audience. Yeah. Hopefully, kind of word, you know, if people are camping with friends that haven't heard
[00:08:21] of us and their dragons and friends out nearly in the morning, hopefully we'll get a few new faces. Yeah. Absolutely. Absolutely. Is you guys here for the whole weekend? Yeah. We are. Yeah. Nice. You see you look before it's set.
[00:08:33] I'm looking forward seeing 68. I'm really looking forward seeing Death for a overnight 79 as well. I've not seen them yet and thank you, wicked. I'm looking forward to unpea pool. I've got them on some point. Yeah. And Vower as well. Yeah. Oh, Vower? Yeah.
[00:08:49] Yeah. Yeah. That's a great. I think they're playing today. Yeah. I think they're actually. Yeah. I would say the same as those two as well, but are excess as well. Excess play yesterday and they were really good. It was so good. They play one of their
[00:09:02] albums in full and it was great. That was amazing. It was going to be hard to talk about. And they're playing again on Saturday. So I'll definitely see that again. Double double helping. Two sets. Two sets. Yeah. The PDS stay in the playing Saturday. All right. Okay. Yeah.
[00:09:12] That's still that's awesome. Yeah. That's going to be really good, so. Absolutely. Love that. So I'm wondering, guys, what other festivals would you like to play if you had the opportunity? I mean, I feel like download to give them. Right? Yeah. That would be kind of amazing.
[00:09:25] Downloads a given. I don't know if we necessarily suit but another festival I love and I love going to as a punter is our tangent. I don't think we're quite wacky enough for it, but
[00:09:39] I think they're our fan base likes wacky music. So there'd be enough interest there. I think for us to get away with playing our time. You are reconciled because it's well, similar to start up to this one.
[00:09:50] Yeah. I don't think quite a few of the same organises. Yes. Basically the sister festival isn't it? Yeah. Exactly. I'm sorry that the realm is a possibility. Yeah. I think it's just make
[00:10:00] absolutely. Yeah, you guys go into that one this year. No, we do go to that time. See them. Yeah. It was there last two years and I haven't haven't booked a ticket for this year,
[00:10:08] but like always I'll probably just cave at the last minute and be like, I have to go. I have to go. I can't really forward it, but what if I know where? You find it absolutely. Yeah. Probably that one.
[00:10:18] All right, for a festival year it would be nice. Health, that's all. I will feel it out there first. Any spray for the biggest boost for us to go on holiday? Yes. I would take. Anyway, we wouldn't actually play anywhere.
[00:10:31] Maybe not like a, I don't know, I hate part of festival. Maybe not people see big weekend. Oh, maybe we go. I don't know. I mean, I feel like with these circuits, you do see people once they get on the train
[00:10:42] start moving and you're probably me all the same people here today, the same promoters. Once you get from Ileo and make some friends who are still putting the door now. So yeah, we'll see
[00:10:53] what we'll go wherever that takes us. I love it. I will also ask as well if you guys would have your own festival. They say it's a dream festival here. I will then know what's the name of
[00:11:03] the festival and who are your three headlines? Oh boy, well I can answer that for you. Oh, certainly. Yes. As a sort of weird hobby, I do like graphic design and stuff on the side and for years
[00:11:16] I've been running like a fake festival. Like I just make a poster every year with a fake lineup. It's called Cross-In Festival, which is where you two used to live in a little village in Wales.
[00:11:27] Not really. He's had an issue of France this year. It was a fight star, turn style and death cab for cutie. Oh, it's a pretty good lineup. That is a great. It's about the same size as trees, you know, similar market, you know.
[00:11:43] He's been feeding me, I'm taking a ticket to get some of him. Oh, that's not real. It's not real. It's like a... It's not me, my answer. I had that ready to go. That's perfect. Yeah. And you've got the poster and everything. Yeah, let's do it.
[00:11:55] I'm that cross-in-fast. Okay. Oh, I don't know my festival. I don't know the name would be Atlas Fest. Atlas Fest? Atlas Fest? But Atlas Fest? Well, Atlas Fest. Well, Atlas Fest will curate their lineup and I will have
[00:12:10] have McFly headlining when you. I will have McChigger headlining in another day. Yeah, and then we'd have... Take that. But support and he's banded me like, I don't know, like fucking Metallica. That would be hilarious. Imagine you go to Festival and it's Metallica and then straight
[00:12:31] after take that. You feel we so confused and angry. That'll be great. Yeah, I love it. They were given the Metallica a 45-minute set as well. Yeah. We're like, good luck mate. Yeah. It's like, no, I'm no new songs. Just the hit guys come on. Fight 45. Fight 45.
[00:12:50] Not expecting that. That's great. Weirdly though, I feel like McFly and McChigger would get on because Charlie's quite the male head. So you feel like... You're thinking the best did, not McFly? Oh, that's true. I am. But I think that probably will be on the other side.
[00:13:03] Yeah. I think they probably still would go on. I don't think it would like. Like, yeah. I know someone that knows them and knows their gear and he's the guitarist to take a part in his massive metal head. So yeah, he's some crossover maybe.
[00:13:18] They're a gateway band. Yeah, definitely. The reason why I started playing music and I got to rock music. Yeah. Okay. And that was when I was a child and now I'm like, Slayer. Yeah. And they're quite far apart. That's, yeah. That's quite the same.
[00:13:32] What are your gateway bands? What were here? Um, I have a weird kind of gateway into heavy music. I didn't raise to be into music until I played a lot of video games when I was like,
[00:13:45] very young, like six or seven. And there was a video game called Jets and Guns. It's like a side scrolling shoot them up kind of game. And this Swedish metal band called Machines Supremacy did the soundtrack? Machines Supremacy.
[00:14:01] And I was very niche and not particularly big band. But they do kind of like chiptune metal. Yeah, yeah. Um, I just like could not believe how good it sounded. I'd like,
[00:14:11] I got my dad to like kind of record the audio from the game. So I could listen to it. And then you start listening to that band because they have songs as well.
[00:14:20] I mean, yeah, that's that was kind of a gateway. That and school of rock when my gateway is into into heavy music. Yeah. Right soundtrack. Yeah. Again, that's a weird arm. Sorry, but I love it. I love it. You yourself? Well, definitely a bestidemic fly for sure.
[00:14:37] Yeah, definitely reason why I started playing drums. Oh, I actually I started playing drums because I watched a status quo tribute band. And I was like, wow, the drum is, well, he's a legend.
[00:14:47] He's legendary. So if I want to be a drummer, play status quo in the pocket. But I've got a word, wonderful. Amazing. The look where it's led you. Yeah, status quo to trees. Yeah, singing fluids on a stage. I'll need a tribute band.
[00:15:03] Oh, yeah, a real stage. God forbid the actual status quo. Yeah. No, tribute is only here. Guys, thank you so much for coming on. No worries. Thanks for having us. Thank you.
[00:15:15] So I'm joined by Lewis and Josh from Overpower. Thank you guys so much for joining me on the fundamentals podcast. Hey, thank you so much. I think I'm awesome. That's my pleasure. So my first
[00:15:25] question do you guys, I want to know what was the first festival that you guys went to? Okay. I, Joe, I actually think it was the same one at the same time. That's me. All right, can download 2008.
[00:15:39] Yeah, hopefully. Yeah, man, I was 14 years old. Yeah. I watched Kiss. I watched Ginger, Escape Pan. Yeah. It was so much. Not many other people to be honest. Yeah, I was just so overwhelmed
[00:15:51] by how it will win. It was a good game. I'd been into rock music for maybe like a year. At that point, you know, it was only like blinking pop punk stuff. Yeah. And then getting
[00:16:04] like your old school rock. So then suddenly turning up and there's like 100,000 people. It's insane. Yeah. We're not that much of a minority. No, no, no, no, no. I thought I was part of something. No, I think that's what like ultimately what everyone's trying to every
[00:16:22] everyone from the guys walking around chew it into the guys on the stage perform in to the guys running behind the scenes. Everyone just feels like they're part of a special. I mean, that's what,
[00:16:30] like when I was 14 years old at down here, if you know, as what I saw, I was just like, wow, going from being a kid, sat in a classroom listening to like, yeah, as I lay down. Yeah,
[00:16:39] and slipping off my phone and being like, no, we get me. And be like, oh, everyone absolutely and it's the best is the best thing in the world, man. Yeah. It changed my life.
[00:16:51] 100%. And did you like? It's going to be quite a common answer this one down low because it's the same for me and this is the same for the latest band I just introduced. Which year was yours?
[00:16:58] To me, it was 2015. Okay. Yeah. Which was who I think was slipping on the Friday, brilliant. But kiss, I think was Sunday. Yeah. Okay. Who was the sad day? I'm going to struggle to remember
[00:17:11] that one. It was kiss too. All the guys that have been fired from the band. I think in my opinion, maybe news or Biffy Chirologans was one of the two because swing on.
[00:17:22] Yeah. Because there was like year as well. It did sonosphere, right? Yeah. Yeah. I know they were yeah, headlight a lot of the heavier festivals. I mean, I had a great time because I loved all those
[00:17:30] bands and I like you said the community thing of it like definitely definitely. It's just felt like you're part of something. Yeah. That's so true. That's so true. So it's like kind of shared attitude as well. Totally different music, like Biffy don't sound like Kirstone sound like
[00:17:44] slipknot. Everyone's got a shared attitude for just things that are just slightly off the beaten path. Yeah. It's lovely. Definitely. Definitely. You guys as a band then, when was the first festival? What was the first festival do you guys played out? Proper one? What as overpiled?
[00:17:59] Yeah, yeah. It's overpiled. As overpowered. No previous. Well, you could do it every week. No, no, no, we're going to go previous. We'll talk about overpowered. We're on the clock. There's a lot. There really isn't. I think the first festival,
[00:18:16] when you say festival, you've got an idea about what like a side stage it would be, etc. Ripfest, right? Ripfest and France in France. Yeah, in France. Yeah. Yeah, man. We were surprised as
[00:18:28] you are. So I'd rather have a set of you to play in a bag called Backdown. They played it. Well, they were going. We got the offer through for Ripfest and it was an insane offer.
[00:18:40] I think they thought we were bigger than we were but we didn't question it. And in the band chat was just so you know that stage is an airline hanger. It's huge.
[00:18:51] And we were like, I can't be that big. And we've got some videos on our Instagram and stuff above walking into that room. The biggest stage I've ever seen in my life.
[00:18:59] Not even by like whip, by like depth. Yeah. The drum kit was like at least 10 meters behind where we were playing. It was insane. So I mean, genuinely we looked up the stage the week before.
[00:19:10] Yeah, yeah. Yeah, that's when KCRR of the guitarists. That's what we decided to go wireless. Did you see how far the app was? Yeah, it was all right. Yeah. What they didn't do
[00:19:22] was tell me there were going wireless on the swirers over my liking, the cable in base. And he's we bought wireless. Oh, sick. Thanks, lad. So I was always treated to like I'd say six by six
[00:19:36] meters. It was for you know. It's been around a week. Yeah, because I'm constantly hitting my base. It's good job we've got Jamie on. That's way west the armour. Yeah. Yeah, but yeah,
[00:19:45] that was the first because that was the lucky camping festival. It was like a day thing out in the middle of France. I'm not going to try and say it properly because it would be
[00:19:55] monetized for how I pronounce it. It would be more inappropriate for me to try and say it properly. Yeah, let's scrub that cut that. They treat us like royalty. They do always do that. You
[00:20:05] get treated like a king out there as a band. It's insane. We got there by the time the band had parked the back doors have been opened by eight people that just like moving stuff out of the band. And you're like, it's amazing. It was unbelievable. That's awesome.
[00:20:22] Had a really, really great set. Yeah. Considering we knew that like not a people, not a lot of people knew who we were. Sure. But there must have been five six hundred people there watching.
[00:20:32] Oh, it was crazy. None of us would have imagined it to have been that special for your first one. And that's half of the home as well. Yeah, totally. Absolutely. It was good. It was good like
[00:20:41] 15, 16 hours of traveling to get there. I got a shout out on that as well. I mean, you know, that kind of puts it all together. Yeah. You're on the show. So tapped into the scene and like,
[00:20:51] especially everything's gone on a France Europe. Yeah. Like for him to be pulling over all these bands from the UK for more over Europe and to make it that successful because everything going
[00:20:58] he does. Yeah. It's brilliant. Yeah. It's insane. I think no, like I case the strain headline this year and harms away. Yeah. Just insane. Just insane. That was like the first one we've done burning down
[00:21:08] one, spending hours amazing. And it down and talking back in the last year. Okay. I think they just last year they won best like small festival. Awesome. Because I know trees as always medium
[00:21:18] festivals, isn't it? Yeah. So burning down and taking the smallest high light bit and I might know me in small. They're like a free venue south in Tokyo. Wow. There's all within probably
[00:21:27] 20 30 meters of each other and go in and out all day all weekend as much you'd like. Yeah. Um, you want like one of the purpose has a smaller stage than there's like the attic stages
[00:21:39] the heavy bands and a net stage and foundry and talking. It's just absolutely insane. Awesome. Yeah, and you've got like him. Are you still on the harbourside as well? Yeah. So like you feel
[00:21:47] like you're having like surreal nice day out. Yeah. And there's also loads of heavy music happening all around you. Yeah, it's amazing. It's amazing. You've seen all these people out. Yeah. You're
[00:21:55] there. You're there. You're there. Now I grew up around there. Yeah. Yeah. And moved away about five years ago. And for this all to be happening I moved away is almost as important. Yeah. Like wait. Where was
[00:22:06] this? They knew what they would do on the planet. He's gone. Go go go go. Show up at Bowen Yacht. Promotion that was his original thing, but Matt yeah. We're good friend of mine who puts it on and he's
[00:22:16] been very kind to assing back in this year. So, this is a really really good band playing this year. I'm checking that out. That's a really really good festival. I'd highly recommend it. Hi.
[00:22:25] Hello. And that was another one of the first ones we played. But yeah. This is our first like big outdoor weekend festival. Brilliant. Yeah. Brilliant. I'm in the middle of the year. I've done
[00:22:37] download and done writing this is the best festival I've ever been to. So everyone's so bloody lovely. Yeah. I know true. No, yes point. Is that all right? Is that okay? Oh, I like that. That's nice. It's been switched with context I guess. That's true. That's true.
[00:22:50] Yeah. Yeah. It's just insane. And everyone's so close. I don't have to walk out for now. I've got anything true. Basically we're getting into our third. It's just a little bit harder than you used to be 10 years ago. Yeah. As a my actual. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
[00:23:03] Good luck. Oh, that's not worth it. I don't know. It changed everything. Didn't there? It does. Yeah. If you were excitement when you were 20, it seemed like how big a festival was or how big
[00:23:13] a band was on that festival. Thank you for excitement now when you've always had close to Car Park is to Camp Itons. Oh, jeez. It doesn't seem bad. Yeah. It's like, yeah. What do you mean I can see the main stage on my 10? Yeah.
[00:23:27] Yeah. It's a dream come true. So great for it to be an aspect of it. I can't over-emphasize how much we got miles and James for. Mass and James, honestly. Yeah, this is such a huge opportunity
[00:23:39] for us. We've never done anything of this scale at all. And it looked like it went down all right. I think there was a get-emine of people. I could see people spilling out from the 10. Yeah,
[00:23:49] you could see it. That was your words, man. Yeah. Yeah. It felt good for me. Yeah. You're an ad fun. I ad fun. Nice. I guess that's part of the appeal as well.
[00:24:01] I'm a band of taking these kind of opportunities. So we've kind of shived for that as a band. Yeah. We've all been in hardcore bands and we've all been in other bands. And as much I love the hardcore scene. You know, the brought us all up. Yeah.
[00:24:16] There's a lot of stuff up a lip in the hardcore scene. Okay. Sometimes and people don't want to appear to have fun sometimes. And then we'll be on like these mixed
[00:24:24] build shows with a lot of hardcore bands. Yeah. And come out and just like rip into each other. And if anything messes up, we'll just start like actively like ripping on each other on stage.
[00:24:35] Yeah. We're always trying to smile and have a laugh and yeah. There's the most common feedback we get, I think. Yeah. It's just like the village idiots. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So like just grinning like more on, you know, not that we've literally had it before
[00:24:48] people like that it's not my kind of music by stayed because you guys seem like you're having so much fun on stage. And we try to live by that principle a bit and yeah. You know, I think it's
[00:24:56] good as a good mantra to live by. We're doing right out of it. I like that at the same time you're saying well, at least they had fun. Yeah. Yeah. Someone smiling. Yeah. Idiots on stage.
[00:25:09] That's what it's all about. I don't even fast if people don't want to mosh us find, you know, again, we're really old. If everyone's smiling and cheering and having a laugh
[00:25:17] and everyone's got a smile and a face I'm happy and that sounds like the weirdest thing to say. No, no, definitely. I think that's it right. You feed off the energy in a room like one
[00:25:25] hundred percent. We try and give it everything but everyone's only human. Sorry, I just got the strength. Oh yeah, he'll be a band. He's got the number of the same. He's got the number of
[00:25:33] the same. He's got cases haircut. Yeah, yeah, of course he did. Yeah. They were a sick band. Sorry, I'm wondering what a tangent I'm not. No, no, to go say hello, he's a lovely
[00:25:41] bloke. He's a lovely, a very expensive fan to the way. You'll be, maybe later, don't worry, maybe later. If not section them off. I mean, I know them. That means pretty bit.
[00:25:52] Don't look him in the eyes. Yeah, that's my one piece of advice. Don't look him in the eyes. It's like, like, actual rows or the queen. Exactly. So I guess my final question for you guys is
[00:26:03] I want to know, I've been asking all these bands. If you'd have your own festival, I want to know what's the festival called and who are your three dream headlines? I was a big question
[00:26:14] of bands. It's a big question. I don't know what it'd be called. That's a hard question. The three bands is, you know, overpowered festival maybe. Oh, that's a good. That made that good.
[00:26:25] Yeah, you can do something with your, with your band name. I think it's kind of like the easiest option. Yeah, okay. That's all right. All right. Well, that's all right. You're free first. Yeah, yeah,
[00:26:35] on a hit. My jaws are going to be wild. No, my three will be very strange. Fast, okay. Well, I'm not going to commit to like a genre. Okay. Because of course you're not wanting to. I know where this is going. Okay. Right. We are going.
[00:26:54] Should I twain on it? Should I a twain? Okay. Yeah. Okay. Okay. And then I'm going to go Guns and roses. Yeah, but like 93. Yeah. That's going to say yeah. Certain legacy bands. You're
[00:27:08] like if I could get them in a certain era. Yeah. Then yeah, that is the battle absolutely. But that's actually huge. I think that's it. I think that's it. You want to get it? I'm going dream lineup. Yeah. I'm going dream lineup. Yeah.
[00:27:23] Absolutely. Queen. You want Queen? Oh, okay. Right. So who you getting rid of? Yeah. Who's or is it a bonus one? Express price on the prize. That's 2000 caps. Oh, they're they're they're the guest. Oh, you see. Correct. Secret act. Secret act. Secret act. It's Queen actually.
[00:27:39] You guys met Freddie Mercury. He's a good breath. Sorry. Can I publish this? That's the question. Oh, no, it's okay. I mean, this is a few. That was what I meant.
[00:27:56] Go on. What are you? I was moving on moving on. I already know like my number one and this guy's going to a lot of rough as well. He's been dead. He's been dead 20 years. It's a Jeff Buckley. I think
[00:28:04] Jeff. Okay. My favorite musicals. I love his music. I'm going to go. I bet I can guess another one. It's such a good. I bet I guess. No, it wasn't. It was actually. I think it might be no. No doors. I might see cracked.
[00:28:22] Love. So mine's going to be it'd be Jeff on the Sunday. I think yes. I love a Jeff. I think. A lot of Del Rey open in the Friday. Okay. Yeah, because I think she's an angel.
[00:28:32] I'm music is so transcendent. I love it. A lot of people are going to hate me for that, but I don't care. Oh, no, it isn't that to chew out. There was no wrong answer.
[00:28:41] There was no wrong answer. Her set of grass will last year was insane even though they cut a short and she turned up half an hour late. And then she didn't. That was having her head on
[00:28:50] on stage because she was already late on stage. They came out. She sat down. They were doing a hair wash. That's that's actual room. My Saturday is going to be the one the only
[00:29:02] Devtones. Oh, yeah, I feel that. I saw that band of Pritz and Academy in 2012. And I cried almost the entirety of SMA. They're beautiful. I follow up question favorite Devtones album.
[00:29:15] I got to know just a personal one. I'm a white pony man. I like very white bow man. And tell you what, you had a horse and you had the smallest horse. You've ever said
[00:29:24] yeah, the smallest horse. I believe it's an awesome brick. It's white pony on like legendary status. 100% yeah, yeah. Diamond eyes is untouchable, but Coino Yochan is just flawless. I 100, I 100% feel either. Yeah, it was the last we swirved. Yeah, it does.
[00:29:44] When I saw them at a brick, it was like completely silent. The curtain drop there was no noise. And as soon as it hit the floor, it just went bow, bow. No, like we did with the Lord of the
[00:29:58] Rings, it's not like teasing. It was just straight in. Here's what I'm saying. It was just one of the hardest rest of all. Me, Rose Marie. I just. Yeah. Okay, all right. So I'll just that song just
[00:30:10] gets me every time. Yeah, man. Beautiful. But yeah, yeah, I love the variety. Genuine. Yeah, but I'm also a little bit too. So anyone listening? We're a hardcore thrash cross over
[00:30:21] to my head. If you like any of those bands, you might like us. If you like the thrash well, come to overpower festival when you're not on a band or anything. It's way,
[00:30:30] you got to let it go. You got Jeff Buckley who's not here anymore. You got Queen, not here anymore. You got the doors. Been gone for ages. Fish and eyes, Wayne. Yeah. And then she's watching. Where's your eye go? It's an eye. It's unbelievable. Yeah, absolutely.
[00:30:44] Yeah. Yeah. You say that? Who did I see? It was a band supporting trivia in the last year. Smort trivia. Yeah, they were British band. They were like a hard proper hardcore band.
[00:30:54] It might come back to me later. I want to say white chapel. I don't think that's right. Not a level in. Oh, it's a level in. No, no, no. They were they were the first one. It was on the second
[00:31:01] tour. I'll tell you what, we'll give them a level into slot as well. Good boy. You have what's there. They are all. We're in British band as well. It's an amazing job. Not just the
[00:31:09] metal as a whole. I think they're represented. No, they are now. They were achieved like lamb of God level of metal fame now. They're up the Rekai Mara, Lama Garda. True. But also,
[00:31:19] you see them going to like local shows now all the time? Yeah, proper hardcore. Yeah, it's amazing. Big big respect for them. There he goes. Could be free to the roof and then not true. I don't
[00:31:30] allow it. Yeah. It was a hardcore band sport in and I'm probably in search of it here. It was bleed from within and they were they opened as they're opening title tracks.
[00:31:42] He joined like Lord of the Rings. They did Shania Twain and when you got a room for the name. Yeah, I will find it. But when you've got a room for a metal head,
[00:31:53] it's an everyone's singing along to Shania Twain and it was great. It was kind of a question. Yeah. Was it man I feel like a woman? I think it was. It did the entire crowd jump in for the
[00:32:02] Lesco girls. Yes, absolutely. Of course you did. See? I'm a bit annoyed that someone's done it first. What's your eye twain did it first? Exactly. Exactly. But guys, thank you so much for coming on.
[00:32:16] Thank you for having us. Have a nice time. It's been wonderful. Thank you so much for joining your enclosure. Thank you. Hello Ollie and welcome to the Fundamentals podcast. Hey man, we're
[00:32:26] so to be here. Thank you so much mate. Thank you. So my first question to you Ollie, I want to go right back. I want to know what was the first festival that you went to. That's an amazing question man. I was playing Xbox 360, Black Ops 2.
[00:32:42] Sorry. My mate calls me up and he tells me I made and he's playing down the road. I told me he was talking about a tribute band and we end up going to Sonnus Fairfest 2014.
[00:32:55] Wow. It was about half an hour drive away. Yeah and there was 14 years old in Maiden and Slayer for the first time. Wow. And that was one of the last Sonnus fairies that happened.
[00:33:08] I was going to say yeah, it's what happened to that festival then. Yeah. But wow that is that's impressive for us. I bet that blue your mind as well. 14. Yeah. What you know, Maiden and Slayer. Yeah.
[00:33:19] Yeah. Awesome. And how about as a band? So what was the first festival you got to play out with negative frame? Well, you know, we come from UK Harco. So we've been doing like the day
[00:33:30] fest and stuff like that for many years now. I've got a shout out Theo from Up Surgeon and a reality unfolds. Okay. Real life presents you've put us along with bands like Steve Space
[00:33:42] Cowboy and yeah one step closer. Yeah, we're we are a lot so UK Harco like time when we come from like lovely. So it's amazing that now we get to play like big festivals like this. Right. It's
[00:33:56] what we've always wanted to do so we're still to be here. Awesome. That's really cool, really cool. So something I've been diving into a little bit with all the bands is what the appeal is of
[00:34:07] playing at festivals, right? Because I think a lot of people that have played bands, they understand the idea of you know playing your own shows or like going on tour the band that you've always
[00:34:16] loved that kind of thing but playing festivals is completely different experience right for a band. So yeah I want to know what do you enjoy about playing festivals specifically? Same as everyone, man. The atmosphere. Right. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
[00:34:29] time we started this band when we were 16 purely to have a great time and to make music. Right. And yeah, seven years later here we are. Yeah. And joining a festival which is something we've always wanted to do, you know, camping out the friends, you know, Miss Fairman,
[00:34:45] seeing homies play, you know, right? Yeah. So there's many UK Huckel bands on this fest right now. We got over power, grow, street, coldrin, so many cruelty. So lots of friends bands are playing this
[00:34:58] and it's great to hang out and have a good time. Yeah, absolutely. Do you know what that is? Yeah, it has been a bit of a common theme with a lot of the answers I've got of fact,
[00:35:06] is the atmosphere and the vibe and there is something totally different. Yeah, someone just earlier was saying about the culture, you always feel like you realised that you're a part of it, right?
[00:35:14] Like yeah. So if you're not in that bubble of a gig of just one of experience, it's like, oh no, I'm here for a few days and there are people everywhere who are, yeah, all part of this
[00:35:24] culture of music which is really cool. Some of the biggest stages bands play, usually at first place. And it's amazing having so much space. Like for us coming from hardcore and such a big stage like this,
[00:35:35] I'm really proud of us. Like, we played a really solid set yesterday, made a great time and it felt really good been up there on this stage. Since so many people turn off it. Yeah, it's well,
[00:35:46] like it was packed out, motion everywhere. So I'm really happy about it, I just smashing it out and yeah, awesome. I love to hear that. I love to hear that. Something else I've been wondering
[00:35:58] with for different artists is sort of what some of your favorite experiences have been playing different festivals. We've got any good memories from that playing festivals, yeah. Well, either of course. Yeah, festivals I'm looking at but yeah you go for it. Anything else
[00:36:10] comes to mind? Go for it. Well this year we kicked off with our European tour 20 days long. Wow. And that was simply incredible, you know, touring across Europe. These 20 days I backed
[00:36:21] a back 19, no, off to really and that was a great time man, but yeah coming to a best like this and the weather being good in the UK, I'm stuck. Yeah, yeah it's great man. So travel in is a bit
[00:36:34] of deathly and a highlight for you then. It can't show up. I mean we started off booking every show and every tour DIY, spamming promoters, 15 ages, you know, you've got to do a man,
[00:36:47] it takes a huge grind to get a band where you want it to be man like we spent years grinding away DIY. It's amazing, we've got booking agent a few years ago, Matthew from Avocado booking funeral
[00:37:02] for a friend, ExpoClist now. Yes yeah, which was simply a dream come true for him to pick us up. It's amazing, you know. Yeah. Just to know that he believes in us and, you know, we've been doing
[00:37:13] shows almost two years with him now and brilliant. The opportunities he's given us and other hardcore bands are incredible. Yeah, he's he's a booking for a lot of hardcore bands now which is so cool,
[00:37:27] you know. Yeah yeah I've heard nothing but good things about him and his company to be fair. Yeah, it's funny I was chatting as well with Nick over from Marshall and saying about like
[00:37:36] it's nice to see these labels, these companies trying to promote a lot of bands, right? But like you say you've got to get your foot in the door and get yourself noticed but once you're there
[00:37:45] it's really nice to see especially at a festival. People trying to support one another in the industry as well, right? Yeah and that's exactly you know how bands and everyone in general, you know, boost each other up
[00:37:58] and gives each other opportunities like we wouldn't have been on Avocado if it wasn't for going off. We're almost thinking about us on their story and stuff and you know it means a lot, you know,
[00:38:08] pushing our friends to big deals, something to do you know and something to be proud about, it's pushing your friends bands and yeah careers. Absolutely. I'm curious, is there anyone here that you're particularly excited to see? 100% our homies, coldrin, I'm most excited to see them because they're
[00:38:27] heavy and they're incredible, they're good friends and yeah cruelty just played, they're really yeah, drove street we're camping with at the moment. Nice. Have a great time with over power as well, who absolutely ripped. Yeah yeah today guilt trip of playing, right? That's gonna be amazing.
[00:38:45] Do you know what? I've seen a lot of their merch about it, I've seen a lot of people looking around guilt trip loads of them. Yeah it's really, really good to see. They're playing on the same stage as us today.
[00:38:54] Nice. We did the release show in Sheffield, not long ago. Awesome and they sold out like 700 tickets for their album launch. It was amazing. It was really good to see that. That's really cool.
[00:39:08] Yeah, you got quite a pack weekend then. Yeah, awesome. I love it. I love it. Something else I've been exploring with a lot of bands is to say a little question like to throw at them
[00:39:17] is if you would have had your own festival. Yes. I love to know what would you call it and what would your three dream headline as big? You can have anyone to like beat down banana and take
[00:39:29] the name of it. Oh god, it's like a mosh first. Yeah, let's just see some spin kicks and like get the homies down to have a good time. Nice. You know what actually did events management at uni?
[00:39:44] Really? So I love like the logistics and booking side of things. Wow, okay. My own festival is actually something I've been thinking about. You know, starting off in a venue in London,
[00:39:55] you know having some hulk of bands on. I'd love to to book stuff like that like a, yeah, start a music video show like last week. Yeah. So it's nice. That's awesome. I didn't know that was a thing you could do in uni. That's quite interesting. Yeah,
[00:40:08] Bim London actually. Bim London uni. That's right. Yeah, we are. We started touring when we were in uni. Yeah, so yeah, it was nice they support us. Yeah. Well, yeah, but I mean,
[00:40:20] in fact, it's used as well. Taking the initiative to kind of learn how the industry works and how to actually make things happen rather than just dream about it. Yeah, it's amazing. Yeah, the course is already good nowadays. You know, you can simply do a lot of things.
[00:40:36] Yeah. So who are your headliners then? Let's just have the top three. I know you're going to have that's go. I mean, if it was a big deal, one, malevolence decilated. That would be insane. And then cold run. I really love cold run.
[00:40:50] Yeah, I guess already they're a great band. Body bag from Brighton, split knuckle. Ooh, and shower all these homies. Yeah. Epic bands. Gild drift would be amazing to have on. Yeah, yeah. Pest control. Dynamite.
[00:41:07] Impunity. Let's go on. The list goes on. Yeah. I love it though, genuinely. Yeah, my level is as well. The second time they've come up actually on this podcast. I pretty short was overpower. Guys are trying to say about it. And awesome. Yeah, because I saw them support
[00:41:21] Trivium last year and then they also did the tour with Silo system. Like you can see there. Kind of land again. Yeah, bigger and bigger and bigger in the hard core scene. But yeah.
[00:41:30] Awesome. I mean, yeah beat down my answer. That sounds quite the event. Quite the event. Go. I love it. Awesome. Well, it's not all you think. You so much for your time. Man,
[00:41:37] thanks for going on the podcast. So it's so stoked to be here. Having a great time. Thank you so much for having me on man. My pleasure. My pleasure. That's in. Cheers. Hello, KT and Sean, welcome to the fundamentals podcast. Thank you very much for having us.
[00:41:53] My pleasure. So guys, I want to know what was the first festival that you guys went to? Just to attend. Oh, I know what mine was. I'm trying to keep. Yeah. Okay. I took Sean to V festival
[00:42:07] because it's in childhood. Yeah, yeah. I did you on my doorstep and basically like, I mean, I shouldn't say this but I will. Basically, like when you live in childhood, you just like basically know how to like sneak in. We sneak in. We didn't see again.
[00:42:23] But for legal purposes, you got to go to perfectly fine. You hate it. But it's just one of those things. But this was before when V festival was like awesome.
[00:42:32] So I think news were there. Right. Right. And then he cr of it. Yeah, then he cr of it. It was amazing. It was so so. Lannis Morrisett. Yes. Oh my God. That was ridiculous. Lannis Morrisett.
[00:42:43] Yes. Set the bar quite high. Yeah. Like, we also said, it's like sure it's like kind of like razor-like and like the kids are just like, because it's good Lord. It was such a good festival
[00:42:54] before it went mainstreamy. Before Little Mix started. It bands like that. They're wonderful. But it goes allowed with it. It goes allowed with it. Not so much. Not quite the same as like
[00:43:04] food fires. Not quite. But it was a rock festival basically. Yeah. Yeah. But yeah, and then it changed. Fair enough. Fair enough. Yeah. So what about playing as a band? What was the first festival
[00:43:16] to play out? So that again, sorry. That's right. Yeah. What was the first festival that you guys got to play out? Oh, it was festival we played. It's about. Mm.
[00:43:24] And I'm not going to stream them but do you know this, that bit? I remember the first festival we played. Download. Oh, we did the right goal. We did the ritual. Yeah. We did the
[00:43:33] group of bedroom jams. Our first festival was download. We played on the Red Ball Stage at about one o'clock in the hour. I think we're probably the first first band on. That's what kicked it all off. That's so cool. I mean, the local festival. Yeah. Yeah.
[00:43:48] Download so much. We've been back a couple of times seeing we had working away up for the stage. Yeah. Yeah. We are working away up to the stage as a school. It's slowly but surely. Yeah. That's when he is later. Yeah.
[00:44:01] Yes, all right. Sure. It was the way that that festival goes. Like if you're not kiss and I made, you've got no chance. No, no, no. Yeah. It's getting there. It's getting there. That's awesome though. That's so cool. So something I've been exploring with all of the art
[00:44:14] of Sproken 2 is what the appeal is of bands to go to festivals. Yeah. I think some people are listening, but like, okay, I get being in a band and playing local towns or even like
[00:44:24] going on a support tour with someone that you love, like that's all great. But festivals, that's a lot of stuff to organize and go to, like, what's the appeal? What's your sort of mindset going into
[00:44:33] festivals? So much of the appeal is honestly the fact that you just get to be amongst so many people that you get in my art. Okay. So, you know, like you can be like we are in a press 10
[00:44:44] and you can look around and just spot a load of bands that you're like, oh my god, like that's so cool. Like I can't believe like we're on the same line up as these people. Yeah. I guess it's just
[00:44:55] just kind of selfish, like because you just want to look at that poster see these incredible bands and then see you there as well. Yeah. Which is just so cool because you just think like, well,
[00:45:05] somebody must like us if we're like, you know, being allowed to be here. Right. These are the people. So, like for me that CPL as a band is just sort of like the other bands but yeah.
[00:45:16] But then I think it's really cool because there's a bunch of people who maybe like have had like one or two of our songs or something and maybe they wouldn't come and see us as a headline.
[00:45:25] But then they go, oh, let me go and see them at a festival. Right. And then they come and watch us and then they go, oh, damn. Yeah. And then maybe they'll come to our headlines shows. Right. So,
[00:45:36] yeah, like there's also that appeal that you're kind of like reaching people that maybe would you put your playing in front of people? You might not normally get chance to play in front of you. Right. Yeah. Yeah. And you don't know what their interests are because when you
[00:45:48] saw a band, you know what the audience is going to be like. Yeah. Because you know the band that they're listening to because it's the headline as right. So, it's just a lot more unpredictable
[00:45:59] when you're doing a festival. I like that. So, yeah, community and the chance to reach out to people. That's really cool. Yeah. And it feels like quite a common thing for everyone who's
[00:46:07] spoken too so far. It makes a lot of sense. And I guess from you guys saying like, you know, you're climbing higher and higher bills must be doing something right. There must be more and more
[00:46:15] people coming back every time. Yeah. Well, I mean, when we did, we did download last year. It was really weird because like they, you know, they asked us to play like a like a 10 and it was quite big
[00:46:27] and I was like, oh, this seems really daunting. Like, because you just think like, is anybody going to come and watch us over whoever else is playing at the same time? Right. And then like it
[00:46:38] was totally packed out and I was just like what the hell's going on. I was like, who's not after us because they must be in just these up. But like, I don't know, that's just my mentality. I'm very like
[00:46:49] like, I like what's the word? Headsomistic. Yeah, but like Ben is just it's cool because when you go from like starting off small and then it gets bigger. It's just good. It's good feeling. That is
[00:47:05] a great feeling. Yeah. And I wonder for yourselves playing it so many different festivals. What's been one of your favorite experiences like, favorite moments at a festival? I mean, there's been some hilarious ones. I don't know if they're like, I don't know if they're my
[00:47:23] favorite, but they're the most memorable that is for sure and it's always stuff that happens like like backstage when everyone's drunk and you're just like, oh my god, like, there's
[00:47:36] I won't tell you about some of them. But let's just say it was very uncomfortable. And we ended up leaving because I was like, oh, I don't. So what's going on there? I missed out. Sorry. It was
[00:47:52] going on. The black velvet ride story. I can't tell it. Oh, you know, let's leave that one there. That's a T. I know but I can't. It's too rude. It's too rude. Okay, to be fair, I keep it PG. Yeah,
[00:48:05] yeah, exactly. And you're just like, oh, I'm okay. But he just makes it like so, like so memorable because you're like, I've got to leave that happened. And things like that. But it's just, and it's just like, I mean, I'm really bad at like remembering guitarists
[00:48:25] and from from other bands, right? Because I'm a vocalist. I'm always just like, yeah, I would just look at vocalists all the time. Sure. And so on meet a bunch of guitarists to be chatting to them. And they'll be from like massive bands and I have no idea.
[00:48:40] And that's always really memorable because the guys are like, oh my god, what were you chatting about? And I'm like, what are you talking about? Isn't this just like a random guy? And they're like,
[00:48:47] no, that's blah, blah, for blah, blah, and I'm like, oh, that's really embarrassing. But it's very, very memorable because they're like, more to fight. Just start that conversation. Just casually. Oh, I would know so much, come on. Come on. I would definitely
[00:49:03] know such. I did have a conversation with Taylor Hawkins about who I know about who. Yes, I know so basically we were in a queue for the toilets and he said to me,
[00:49:19] he was in front of me and I was like, oh my god, Taylor Hawkins is in front of me. He like, this is insane. And obviously I was terrified, so I wasn't about to say, oh,
[00:49:29] and I just stood behind him and then he turned around and he was like, oh, you've been in these toilets, yeah. And I was like, yeah, they're actually really nice. They've got mirrors and everything.
[00:49:38] He was like, oh, amazing. And then he just talking to me about like toilets that he'd been in and how bad they've been and then he's turned into a whole poo conversation. And I thought this is
[00:49:51] actually pretty crazy. That that is. Have I said? I know, my only interaction with an absolute legend that is the logo with us. I'll be about festivals though, you get that small band
[00:50:00] of like, us mixing with. Yeah. I also stood next to you, you know, in your our way in the bar when, you know, he's red hair phase. Oh yeah, yeah, I stood next to him and it was just
[00:50:11] me and him. Right? So this whole ten, which was like the like the artist's bar, a whole ten massive, just me and him. And I was like, I can't do it. I can't say hello. He didn't say
[00:50:25] it was so awkward. I was just standing there like, just look straight ahead, just don't. What'd you say? Like, I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I know
[00:50:35] that. When when you're backstage, you feel like you're not allowed to be really found early. Right. Even though inside, you're like, screaming. It was really, it was really quite awkward, but it makes it very memorable. It does. Yeah, it does. How about yourself?
[00:50:51] Probably playing the shows, playing, you know, the last last year we played download. We played maybe like the third biggest stage at the festival. We were the opening act of the whole thing on the Thursday, awesome. We weren't really expecting much of a turnout because it
[00:51:12] we were on so early. But it was round. It was round. There's thousands of people there, those people outside the ten. I don't know if it was more to do with the fact that we would,
[00:51:25] people would just hungry for some live music. We were the first ones off. Sure. Yeah. Coming in. Oh, what's going on here? You know, but they were up for it. It wasn't there. Yeah. It was really good. It's really enjoyed that show. Yeah. Great. Highlight.
[00:51:38] Highlight. Highlight. And a question I've been asking everyone, and I've had so many different answers already and I love this. So if I was to give you your own festival, I want to know what would
[00:51:50] you call it? Yeah. And who would your three dream headlines be? And I'd be in generous. You can have anyone. Okay. Well, it's called Sloth first. Sloth best. Okay. It's called Sloth first. Love it. And
[00:52:00] it's all about being chilled. How much backstage? So there's going to be there. There'll be how I'm going to say everywhere. There's going to be a swimming pool. Nice. Yeah. Yeah. And then three people playing dead, dead, dead, dead or alive. Yeah, dead or alive. Yeah,
[00:52:14] dead or alive. Get good for it. Okay. Well, there's definitely going to be novarna because I want to watch them play in I can't, but I can't imagine. I mean, a juke's experience. Do you be
[00:52:21] hitchhiking? Yes. Yes. Yes. And who else? Queen's at the Stone Age. I'd show that. That's I was going to say Queen. Oh, Queen. Queen. Queen or just Queen of the Stone Age? No. Queen. Featuring Queen to the Stone Age. Okay. That's good. That. Yes, please. Like that.
[00:52:42] Queen's as in these just just below them. Yes. Yes. That would be a great great. You know, people are there. Where they're swimming costumes and they have to like die. Yeah. It's cool.
[00:52:51] Sick kids are free. It's turn up. Yeah. And there will be sloth. There will be plenty of hammer. It's cool. I'm a actual sloth. Yeah. Because it's going to be in the rain forest.
[00:53:00] Oh, okay. I didn't throw that one. You didn't throw it but I like that. You're the first person to give me a setting. Okay. No, I really like it. It's cool and the aesthetic is not. I totally agree. Yeah,
[00:53:10] totally awesome. Rain forest stage. Rain forest stage. Yeah. Fine. And it is not vines valley. Stay are they all doing like a acoustic sets as well if you reckon was it like full. No, it's full.
[00:53:24] It's a full band full band full band full band full band full band. Maybe in the morning. Yeah, we're obviously playing as well. Oh yeah, obviously. Yeah. That's a given. Yeah, it's a given.
